The 5,200 foot elevation allows you unobstructed views of Grandfather Mountain and the surrounding mountain ranges Adjacent to the Sugar Mountain ski slopes. Great for winter skiing, watching the leaves change in the Fall, Spring antique shopping or just getting away from the Summer heat. Great view of Grandfather Mountain from every room in the unit, as well as the balcony. Completely renovated in the Fall of 2004. New paint, flooring, drapes, furniture and kitchen equipment. Unit was retrofitted with with full size washer and dryer. Unit has Wi-Fi connection. Appalachian State University in Boone and Lees McRae College in Banner Elk offer cultural and sporting events.
