This cabin was all that the owner claims it to be. We were very impressed with how clean the cabin was and how the owners really care about their renters. All of the information that was sent before hand and all of the information they have pulled together in the cabin is so useful and appreciated. My boys really enjoyed having the playstation to play during some of our down times. We had an issue with the air conditioner not working and within an hour there was a repairman there to fix it and it was back up and running in no time. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us, we definitely recommend it and will be going back again!

We just got back from our stay at this cabin and we LOVED it!! We have stayed in a few other cabins before but this one took the cake! It was VERY clean and VERY homey! you walk in and you feel at home! the kitchen was so stocked any kind of pot or pan you could ever imagine using to cook with. They had spices,ziploc bags and tupperware bowls for left overs! all the things you might need but wouldnt think to bring with you! We Loved this cabin and it will deffiantly be our new stay place when we go to Pigeon Forge! I HIGHLY recomend this cabin to everyone wether its just a couple of 2 or a family its perfect for everyone!!

My family and I stayed through the weekend and got our much needed relaxation time in. The cabin and setup was more than we expected. We truely enjoyed it so much we spent more time in the cabin than out roaming through Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It lives up to its name for sure. With it being somewhere between winter and spring the hot tub was the absolute best. It was stemay and ready for us when we arrived. The ammenities were by far better than any hotel or other cabin in the area. They have spared no expense on stocking the place with items you would have never thought you would need. But by far the deck on the main level out back was my fav. We enjoyed a hot cup of coffe each morning whatching the sun rise over those smoky mountains. We will definately return again and will only use 1 of the 2 cabins the Faust's own.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Couldn't have asked for a better location to celebrate Christmas. Cabin decorated with 7 ft Christmas tree. Every room spotless with well maintained furniture. My 16 year old grandaughter & friend enjoyed pool table, play station, & hot tub daily during our 5 nights stay. My husband enjoyed the Large TV's & conforts of the cabin. This cabin is just as beautiful as the pictures & has so many extras in the kitchen, 3 full sets of dishes, spices, coffee, tea, etc. Full size washer & dryer, etc. We all had a GREAT time anxious to return.

It was not as secluded as we like, but no one was staying in the cabins close to us, so it was semi-secluded. It felt like home, very roomy, and the items in the kitchen were top-notch. The location is very convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved this place and hope to return.

Our experience with Away From It All was truly a wonderful experience. We have rented other cabins for the last 3 years in Pigeon Forge and I can truly say this is the very first time we have been totally satisfied. I don't know why it took me so long to find this one. There isn't a single thing to complain about! My grandson enjoyed the Playstation so much that now he wants to replace his current Wii with one. The liviing room is perfectly laid out as are the bedrooms. I love firm pillows so will remember to bring mine next time, but used two together to get same feeling. Although it seemed a long way to the cabin when we arrived at night, it really wasn't in the light of day. Also, since we did arrive later in the night, we were so appreciative that outside and inside lights had been left on for us. We had no trouble with the alarm as the instructions were very clear, and having one did give us a better sense of security. Although there are other cabins around, we couldn't tell that on the first night. We will certainly stay at Away From It All again. I am so happy to finally have found a place we all love. We tried different horse stables this trip but will stick with Walden Creek from now on. Their riders are very friendly and informative, also allow you to take your camera unlike the Ponderosa. As for the food, we always go to Apple Barn for the fritters and apple butter. There are so many restaurants to choose from now so eating out is a fun experience. However, cooking in the cabin was also fun and easy as everything is there to prepare any meal.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin is extra clean, beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you need and more! It is convenient to the Parkway, which is the "main street" for Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We visited the Roaring Fork Motor Trail, Park Ranger Station, Cades Cove, Gatlinburg shops and Dixie Stampede. We just needed more time. Thank you to the owners for providing many little extras and maintaining their beautiful cabin! We were very pleased!

Best Gatlinburg Experience EVER!

This cabin was amazing! It was by far the cleanest (still had vacuum-cleaner tracks on the carpet, sinks & tubs were immaculate, plenty of toilet paper and soap in the bathrooms), "homiest" cabin I've stayed in. It was the perfect place to retreat from the world for some quiet and peace. The rooms were comfortable, amenities plentiful, views had a little of everything - wooded, hills, a little bit of yard and not too far from neighbors. I loved having a security system for added peace of mind. Neil and Lisa are excellent hosts, and I think they've thought of everything for a fun stay: DVDs, games, rocking chairs and outdoor dining, outdoor and indoor fireplaces and a fully equipped kitchen. LOVED my stay, and am anxious to return. Thanks, Neil and Lisa!!!

This cabin was excellent!!!!!It had such a personal touch.There were "extras" like tons of movies and video games for everyone,extra condiments(such as tea,seasonings,garbage bags,shampoos,ect) that other cabins do not have.It was just beautiful and had a great price range.I would recommend this cabin to anyone!!We will definitely be going back!!!We had a few problems(on my part),such as we missed our turn and got lost, the cabins alarm wouldnt go off and I had forgotten the code, and the fireplace wouldnt come on.I had to call the owners .They answered right away and had EVERYTHING taken care of immediately!!We visit Pigeon Forge about 10 times a year and we will definitely be going back to this cabin!!! Lisa,Thanks so much for everything.Its like a home way from home!!!I had to book this cabin on spur of the moment,like right as I was going out the door to leave.Lisa walked me thru the booking and paymts and I had a confirmation in a matter of minutes!!!!

Clean, Quiet and Comfortable

My husband and I and our three sons just spent the 4th of July weekend at Away From It All. Being from Michigan, the mountains are quite a change of pace for us. We found the cabin to be clean and well maintained, and the living room furniture and bedding to be quite comfortable. The kitchen truly was stocked with everything you could need. They even supplied coffee and tea. That is exceptional in my opinion! The area was quiet, yet there were cabins around us in all directions, so you didn't feel totally secluded. It is a truly a beautiful setting. The cabin had more flat screen t.v.s than we needed, one in every room!! The kids really enjoyed the pool table in the loft. We were out every day seeing the sights, so we didn't get to spend as much time at the cabin as we would have liked. Maybe next time! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I would recommend this cabin highly for the comfort and the price! It is a great value, look no further. Lisa was wonderful to deal with. Thanks for letting our family stay in your mountain home!

We loved the cabin, it was better than we expected. The location was beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone. I hoped for a rainy day (didn't happen) just so I could hang out in the cabin all day. You supplied everything we needed. It was nice to have a home cooked meal after so many days of restaurant eating. The main thing that brought us out there was Dollywood, but we discovered we love zip lining and we were 10 feet from a young bear near a trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Thanks for helping us create such a memorable vacation!

This cabin is very clean and beautifully decorated . The bed was so comfy and they have the nice high thread count sheets that made for a good nights sleep. The hot tub is private and the three decks are great, they even had charcoal there to use for the grill. The owners really go all out to make your stay perfect!

We thoroughly loved this cabin. It was very clean (and I'm a stickler for that) and well maintained. We stayed for 5 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was very well stocked. Anything you might have had a question about was labeled and had directions on how to use. There were emergency numbers posted and lots of helpful information. I usually like to sleep in while on vacation, but I got up early in the mornings just so I could sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature. We had some friends - an owl, a woodpecker, a crazy cardinal, and a little gray squirrel. They kept us entertained. I have already recommended the cabin to others. The Fausts were great to work with.

We had a wonderful time at "Away From It All". It is a lovely cabin, well maintained and stocked with essentials. The cabin was clean but the hot tub could use some attention. The location is secluded and quite but close to the action. The Faust family was great to work with. I have already told some friends about this cabin and they were really interested. The photos were authenic! The pool table was an extra bonus, have not played in years but had fun scratching the ball!! Would love to rent their other cabin, "A Hidden Paradise" sometime!

THE PERFECT CABIN FOR A FAMILY!!!

I have never stayed at a 'vacation rental by owner cabin' before. This place is literally like a home away from home. We went out and bought charcoal, lighter fluid, paper plates, cups and ice along with food. When we got to the cabin we noticed that the outside grill already had cooking utensils, and the pantry was stocked with charcoal, lighter fluid, matches, sugar & spices, cook spray, oil! All you need to bring is the family, some food and a bathing suit! There's nothing like shopping all day, grilling out, then sitting in the hottub and watching the sunset. Once you get out of the hottub we all went downstairs to the LCD tv and watched one of the dvd's (out of atleast 50) that is on the living room shelf! I plan on coming back to this cabin this summer! It has it all!!! I have to give an extra thanks to the owners Neil & Lisa. I was not sure of the days that my friends and I would be off work and not on call. They very polite, worked with our schedule and in no way pushed us to rent their cabin.

Lisa ~ We really enjoyed your beautiful cabin! It was so peaceful and that is just what we wanted! It was very nice and quiet in regards to the location(private hot tub, super clean whirlpool tub). We did have neighbors but we never saw or heard them (unlike when you stay in a crowded resort)! I would like to thank you & your husband for being so easy to deal with. Of all the cabins I have stayed in, this one is absolutely the best! I do not have one complaint about our stay in the cabin. We spent a week, and wanted to stay longer. There was nothing that was not thought of. The kitchen was well stocked beyond my expectaions. The owner was amazinly helpful and anwsered all my questions quickly. The kids were pleasantly suprised by the Playstation system and loved the pool table. I was thrilled to find a basket of books to read as well as movies to watch. The internet access was convenient too. We also enjoyed the basket of brochures for the area. We enjoyed our coffee out on the deck each morning listening to the birds. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Will definately return again and highly reccomend the cabin to everyone.

My family was very impressed with the cabin. It was everything we hoped for: cozy, clean, and well stocked. The only problem was the sleeper sofa. We had planned on my daughter sleeping on the sleeper sofa, but it was extremely uncomfortable. We will certainly use this cabin again. Thanks for a great vacation. Oh, great location too. Lisa and Neil, We decided to try "Away From it All" after staying in "A Hidden Paradise" on a previous trip. We really enjoyed our stay and found the cabin to be just as neat, clean and well equipped as the other one. The weather was good, so we spent some time shopping in the Craftsman's Loop, hiking in the park and enjoying the Dixie Stampede. The hot tub really felt good after a busy day of activities. Thanks for keeping your cabins in such nice condition. The added security system gives peace of mind while there and away during the day. We hope your family has a great Thanksgiving. We have rented many cabins from Brown County Indiana to Iceland. Your cabin afforded us every feature we could ever want in one place and then some. Away From It All was in immaculate condition and obviously VERY well taken care of. The quality and condition of all the amenities surpassed our expectations. Neil and Lisa, We really enjoyed our stay at "Away From It All"! The kids loved the pool table and we all loved the hot tub. It was very relaxing and peaceful. We would definitely recommend the cabin to our friends and family. We hope to stay again soon. Thanks for being so easy to work with too!

We enjoyed this, our second stay at Away From It All, almost as much as our first. We must admit though that our first stay was our honeymoon. We brought the girls (ages 13 & 11) along with us this time. The cabin was just as beautiful as it was the first time. Everything was perfect. The girls were even impressed! Thanks so much Lisa and Neil - we look forward to visit #3.

This is our second stay at "Away From It All". The cabin is very nice. The hot tub is great. I highly recommend this cabin. I don't think you will find anything as nice and well maintained. Thanks to Neil & Lisa for sharing their home with us.

Thanks to Neil & Lesa Faust for letting us enjoy their cabin. Very nice and comfortable cabin to relax in with the jacuzzi in the master bedroom right next to the master bed. Also the hot tub was great to unwind in after enjoying the sites around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Very well kept cabin. Probably the only complaint we really had was the mattress in the master bedroom was a little too firm and uncomfortable, because we both have back problems. Other than that, this cabin was beautiful and worth the rental price. We recommend it highly to anyone visiting this area.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time on our 35th anniversary. The cabin was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Lisa was great to deal with and very friendly. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone and hope to return for a vacation ourselves. We had a wonderful time!
