Riverhill Golf Cottage #6 is located on the 18th Fairway of Riverhill Country Club, a privately owned country club in Kerrville, TX, the heart of the Texas Hill Country.
Riverhill Country Club allows our guests to enjoy a special "Stay and Play" golf package. An easy drive from Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio, Riverhill offers activities for everyone golf, tennis, swimming or just relaxing at the cottages overlooking the 18th Fairway.
A BYRON NELSON-JOE FINGER DESIGNED COURSE
The 18-hole championship golf course was designed by golfing legend Byron Nelson and Joe Finger and features beautiful bent grass greens with an interesting mix of water, sand and tree hazards. The uphill and downhill holes and elevated greens provide golfers of all abilities with a challenging and enjoyable experience year-round.
The course is complemented with practice greens for putting and chipping and a driving range. Avid Golfer magazine says, Escape from the hustle and bustle of city life to a hidden gem, Riverhill Country Club.
STAY AND PLAY
Take advantage of the Stay and Play package at Riverhill Country Club. As a guest of Cottage #6, a round of golf is only $54 per person per round and includes green, golf cart and range ball fees. A great golf package for a relaxing weekend getaway.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Located along the 18th Fairway, Cottage #6, a one level 4 bedroom, 4 bath home includes a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, plus each bedroom opens to the Great Room that includes a fireplace and large screen TV.
A large arbor covered patio with fabulous views of the Fairway and beyond is perfect for outdoor entertaining. Each bedroom has 2 queen sized beds, a private bathroom, views of the golf course or tennis courts, microwave, small refrigerator, TV, hairdryer, and wireless internet included for your convenience.
The location of the Cottage is across the street from the tennis courts, and walking distance to the pool and clubhouse. This is an ideal location for the entire family!
FACILITIES PROFILE
The Byron Nelson-Joe Finger golf course is consistently rated in the top 50 golf courses in Texas. The Golf Shop is centrally located with experienced staff available to help you.
To protect the greens, metal spikes are not allowed.
THE TURNING POINT
The Turning Point Grill, located off of the 9th hole, serves breakfast, lunch, light snacks and beverages.
THE CLUBHOUSE
The elegant Mansion built by Gustave Fritz and Huldah Schreiner in the early 1900's is the center of social activities at Riverhill. The Mansion features the Garden room for formal dining while The Grill is open for informal dining. Private rooms are also available for conference meetings or special events.
TENNIS
There are six Plexipave hard courts with four lighted courts that allow night play under the star-filled Hill Country sky. The tennis Pro Shop carries a variety of equipment and clothing and group or private lessons are also available.
SWIMMING
The Riverhill pool offers a shaded deck area or plenty of good Texas sunshine for swimmers. The Turning Point, located near the pool, provides lunch, snacks, and beverages. Towels are provided at the pool. The pool is open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.
