4 minutes to the Gatlinburg "strip"- yet totally private. This beautiful cabin called "A Hidden Paradise" is romantic and is the perfect spot for your honeymoon or anniversary celebration. It's located in the city of Gatlinburg. It's a small piece of paradise for those vacationing in the Smoky Mountains. If you want to experience Gatlinburg's sight and sounds, but still want peace and quiet, this cabin is for you.
Many couples spend their honeymoon here and return each year for anniversary celebrations. Gatlinburg is a place for weddings and anniversary celebrations. This is the perfect spot for you when you are trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a place where you can go to re-connect and spend quality time together.
This Gatlinburg cabin has a loft area with a king sized bed, private bath, and jacuzzi tub. You can soak in the jacuzzi tub and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and privacy. The spacious loft has a rocker for enjoying a good book or to just relax and sit. The loft has huge windows and a wonderful wooded outdoor view. A 30" flat screen TV (added July 2010) with DVD player is available for movie watching in bed.
The downstairs area includes a second bathroom with a shower, a pool table area with a game table and bar stools (also a 22" flat screen tv), and a comfortable living area with a gas fireplace. A recliner allows you to stretch back and watch a favorite movie or video. A 42" flat screen tv was added in July 2010 in the living area. The dining area includes a table and fully stocked kitchen. We have tried to furnish any item you would need for cooking and preparing meals.
You can grill steaks on the charcoal grill (new in April 2010) and share a romantic candlelight dinner or picnic on the deck in front of the outside fireplace. The outside fireplace is close enough to the hot tub so you can soak in the hot tub and enjoy the fire at the same time. The deck is private and secluded and has a hot tub for romantic evenings.
The cabin is on the boundary of the National Park near the Roaring Fork Motor Trail, so don't be surprised to see some wildlife (sometimes including a bear or two) while you are there. One of the best surprises of this cabin is how convenient it is to all area attractions, yet it seems miles away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg. You are about a mile from the Parkway at light #3 in the center of Gatlinburg, but you will think you are miles away from everyone and everything. The Arts and Crafts Community is just a few minutes away.
Come and spend your time together in "A Hidden Paradise". It will be a time for renewal and relaxation just for the two of you. You will want to come back every year for your special time together.
A Hidden Paradise has WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS, so you can take your laptop and be able to check email or use it for work. An alarm system was added in the fall of 2009 for extra security and peace of mind.

We live about 4.5 hours from Gatlinburg, so it's a quick trip for us to enjoy everything.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
A Hidden Paradise is homey and comfortable. When you stay at the cabin, you feel like you are at home, but it's still romantic and private. We especially love the outdoor fireplace which is on the deck with the hot tub. The outdoor fireplace is operational year round. We also love being just one mile from the Gatlinburg strip. The cabin's location is such a great spot- convenient to everything, but still peaceful and quiet.

We're the Faust's- Neil, Lisa, Dylan, and Drew. Our family bought A Hidden Paradise in 2006. We live in Alabama and enjoy spending time in the Smoky Mountain area. We travel to the area about 5-6 times a year and visit local area attractions or just relax at the cabin. This photo was taken at the observation tower of Clingman's Dome.

We just returned from our trip to Gatlinburg (7/20 - 7/24). We stayed at A Hidden Paradise and absolutely loved it!! The cabin was clean, cozy, private, and close to the downtown area! We were sad to leave! The owners have done a wonderful job taking care of this cabin and it is worth staying there! You will not regret it! We will definitely stay there again in the future!

This little cabin is perfect for a couple. Private, wooded location, but close to town. It felt like coming home to our own comfy and cozy place. We live in a 2400 sq. foot home, but we had both said that this cabin was really a perfect size and layout that if we needed to downsize, a place like this would be perfect. Per usual...he had the recliner and my cozy spot was on the couch, curled up with a blanket. We used the fireplace each evening..as well as the one outside when we were in the hot tub. The owners were in quick reach for anything necessary, thus showing their concern for their guests. It just added charm that the cabin had some Christmas decorations and a tree, which we lit each evening. A true Hidden Paradise...thanks so much! Karen and John Everett Lebanon, TN

The property is well maintained and clean! the photos accurately reflect the appearance and ammenties of the cabin. It was easy to locate and conveniently located to downtown Gatlinburg. The next time we travel back to Gatlinburg we will stay this cabin again!

This was my third stay at this rental cabin. I love the easy access in by car and private, safe location. The furnishings are very comfortable and attractive. The kitchen is well stocked with dish ware. The stories about bears and raccoons on the porch make the stay exciting and reminds me that we really are a visitor in their home too! Loved the social holiday decorations as a special touch to enjoy after a hard day of Christmas shopping at the outlet malls nearby.

From booking to arriving back home, this was one of the most pleasurable experiences I've had on vacation. The cabin is exactly what it proposes to be and more. The location and layout makes it very private, even with other properties not far away. Everything worked fine. The outdoor hot tub was ready upon arrival and used several times each day with no problems at all. The high speed wireless internet provided over 10mb download speed for the few times I used it to find restaurants and places to visit. There are fantastic guest comments in the personal journal provided in the cabin. A must visit place to stay!

This is our third time at this property. Great for two people, close to Gatlinburg but far enough away to seem like you are in the woods. Though there are cabins around you, there are so many trees that you don't notice the cabins.

This is a beautiful cabin that is private yet close to area attractions. The cabin was well built and maintained. It was extremely clean and well stocked with all that is needed for that much needed getaway. The owners, Neil and Lisa were very easy to deal with and have thought of everything. I would highly recommend this cabin and look forward to returning again next year.

We just returned from a week at A Hidden Paradise. This cabin is everything it is advertised to be....and more! Very secluded, great location. It's easy to reach, and while it is convenient to everything, it feels like a million miles from the hub-bub of the city. It is also one of the cleanest cabins you'll ever find. The owners are wonderful to work with and have thought of everything when stocking the shelves and providing whatever you'll need during your stay. No mountain views, but instead it feels like living in a treehouse in the woods. It's a wonderful place for a romantic getaway or simply as an escape from the real world. We would return in a heartbeat! If you like English food (fish and chips, bubbles and squeak, pasties), be sure to check out the Fox and Parrot British Pub in the Arts and Crafts district. It's back in the woods, and there are bunches of steps to climb, but it's worth the trip. Interesting people and great food as well. The Mountain Lodge is a good place for breakfast. Definitely try the homemade cinnamon rolls. Yum!

Wonderful property. Better than described online. Perfect location. Close to town, but totally private. The owner's have thought of everything. After many trips to Gatlinburg over the years and equally as many different cabin rentals, Hidden Paradise is our all-time favorite and will definitely be the only place we stay from now on.
