The cabin was immaculate and more beautiful in person! It was like waking up in a tree house when you looked out the windows in the morning! The bed was very comfortable with the memory foam topper. We throughly enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi and hot tub and playing pool-didn't have time to enjoy the large library of videos but saw there is a good selection on hand. We will recommend Hidden Paradise to anyone traveling to the Smokey Mountains and would love to return ourselves. Thanks for all the work you have put in and continue to do to make this cabin an awesome place to vacation!

Outstanding! This property is everything it said ti was and then some! We accidentally set the alarm off when we arrived at the cabin, but, Neil and Lisa both responded immediately to our phone call requesting appropriate information. One of the first things we noticed when we walked in the door was how clean the cabin smelled and it WAS VERY clean! We have stayed in several different VRBO cabins and never have been in one that was stocked with linens, paper products, and a few other items. The hot tub and fireplace out on the porch was amazing. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub with the fireplace on. What a perfect way to end our evenings. Thanks for a beautiful place to stay in the middle of the Smokies. We loved it and have recommended it to many of our friends and will definitely stay there again when in the area. Thanks Neil and Lisa.

A Hidden Paradise Indeed

We booked this property from Australia and Lisa was extremely helpful and professional throughout that entire process. The cabin itself is homely but extremely clean and well contained. It has everything you could possibly need for a stay of 1 night or more. There were other cabins nearby but it still felt completely private and in the Mountains. Probably the only two downsides for me were the lack of bears on the back porch (silly Aussies!) and the fact that walking to town would be out of the question. That said the positives are infinite. We felt safe, relaxed and happy during our stay here and enjoyed leaving the hustle bustle of the park and downtown Gatlinburg to return here. Not sure we will ever be back in that part of the USA but if we were we would be staying at Lisa's cabin and would most definitely recommend it to friends and family.

A Hidden Paradise

Our family really enjoyed staying at A Hidden Paradise. We stayed here for our anniversary two years ago and really loved the convenient location and the cabin so much that we decided to stay here again. This time we brought along our 13-year-old son and his friend, and the cabin was just right for the four of us. It is very clean and comfortable and exactly as described, even better! After each day of activities including ziplining, go-carting, walking in downtown Gatlinburg, it was so nice to come back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub or shoot a game of pool with the boys. We highly recommend ziplining! It is so much fun! We used Smokey Mountain Ziplines. They are all about safety, and the guides really make it fun! We hope to stay at A Hidden Paradise again soon and would definately recommend this cabin.

The place was lovely, easy to find and convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. We really enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was stocked nicely, and we even had a blender to mix up some pina coladas to enjoy on the deck. We had a strange thing happen with the glass top table on the deck -- it shattered we assume just from the frozen glasses sitting on top of it since we weren't touching it at the time. The owners were very understanding and told us not to worry about it! We cleaned it all up and continued to enjoy the rest of our stay. We would definitely recommend this place and we will probably stay here again ourselves!

MY HUSBAND & I JUST HAD OUR 41st WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.THE CABIN WAS A GIFT FROM OUR 2 DAUGHTERS.WE LOVED THE CABIN.IT WAS VERY COZY FOR 2 PEOPLE.IT WAS VERY CLEAN & STOCKED WITH ANYTHING THAT YOU MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN TO BRING FROM HOME.IT WAS CLOSE ENOUGH TO EVERYTHING INCLUDING GATLINBURG & PIGEON FORGE.WE ATE AT THE PEDDLER IN GATLINBURG & IT WAS WONDERFUL.WE ALSO ATE AT TGIF IN GATLINBURG & THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING. My husband and I come to Gatlinburg at least twice a year. We have rented several different cabins but this is the one we go to first to check availability. The setting is beautiful and private but easy to access. Although Hidden Paradise is hidden in the woods it is so easy to find. We cannot say enought about all the conveniences that it provides. It is better than most of the upscale hotels we have stayed in but still has that cabin atmosphere. If you want the perfect cabin, this is the one.

This little cabin is perfect for a couple. Private, wooded location, but close to town. It felt like coming home to our own comfy and cozy place. We live in a 2400 sq. foot home, but we had both said that this cabin was really a perfect size and layout that if we needed to downsize, a place like this would be perfect. Per usual...he had the recliner and my cozy spot was on the couch, curled up with a blanket. We used the fireplace each evening..as well as the one outside when we were in the hot tub. The owners were in quick reach for anything necessary, thus showing their concern for their guests. It just added charm that the cabin had some Christmas decorations and a tree, which we lit each evening. A true Hidden Paradise...thanks so much! Karen and John Everett Lebanon, TN

This was my third stay at this rental cabin. I love the easy access in by car and private, safe location. The furnishings are very comfortable and attractive. The kitchen is well stocked with dish ware. The stories about bears and raccoons on the porch make the stay exciting and reminds me that we really are a visitor in their home too! Loved the social holiday decorations as a special touch to enjoy after a hard day of Christmas shopping at the outlet malls nearby.

Private Oasis in the Smokey Mountains!

From booking to arriving back home, this was one of the most pleasurable experiences I've had on vacation. The cabin is exactly what it proposes to be and more. The location and layout makes it very private, even with other properties not far away. Everything worked fine. The outdoor hot tub was ready upon arrival and used several times each day with no problems at all. The high speed wireless internet provided over 10mb download speed for the few times I used it to find restaurants and places to visit. There are fantastic guest comments in the personal journal provided in the cabin. A must visit place to stay!

This is our third time at this property. Great for two people, close to Gatlinburg but far enough away to seem like you are in the woods. Though there are cabins around you, there are so many trees that you don't notice the cabins.

We just returned from a week at A Hidden Paradise. This cabin is everything it is advertised to be....and more! Very secluded, great location. It's easy to reach, and while it is convenient to everything, it feels like a million miles from the hub-bub of the city. It is also one of the cleanest cabins you'll ever find. The owners are wonderful to work with and have thought of everything when stocking the shelves and providing whatever you'll need during your stay. No mountain views, but instead it feels like living in a treehouse in the woods. It's a wonderful place for a romantic getaway or simply as an escape from the real world. We would return in a heartbeat! If you like English food (fish and chips, bubbles and squeak, pasties), be sure to check out the Fox and Parrot British Pub in the Arts and Crafts district. It's back in the woods, and there are bunches of steps to climb, but it's worth the trip. Interesting people and great food as well. The Mountain Lodge is a good place for breakfast. Definitely try the homemade cinnamon rolls. Yum!

Even though the pictures that are posted are beautiful, there was nothing like seeing it in person. Hidden Paradise was clean, attractive and very well stocked. I have already recommended this property to several people and am looking forward to the next time we can come back. Quiet and perfectly nestled away but very close to Gatlinburg's main strip..the best of both worlds. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING and just when I thought " I should have packed a flashlight", I even found that. Just wonderful.

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It has the feeling of seclusion, yet it is really near town. Also, appreciated that there were trees surrounding the cabin to provide privacy from neighboring cabins. We could not get over how fully stocked this cabin was. The owners went above and beyond on that token. The first thing we noticed upon walking into the cabin was how clean it smelled. Had a bit of trouble getting back in with the door code once when we came back from the store and was disappointed that the maintenance company never came out to light the pilot light in the outdoor fireplace (one main reason we booked this cabin) like they said they would do. But I can honestly say that even without the use of the outdoor fireplace, this place was amazing!! Thanks, Lisa and Neil for allowing us to stay at your wonderful abode!

My husband and myself just returned from a 4 night stay at a Hidden Paradise. If you are looking for a secluded, romantic, unbelievably clean cabin, look no further. This cabin exceeded our expectations and we are the savy picky travelers. We travel frequently and are always looking for the best accomodations. We would not consider staying any place other than a Hidden Paradise when visiting the Gatlinburg area.

We stayed in this cabin a week ago and could not have been more thrilled. We have been to the Smoky's several times and stayed in cabins rented through some of the large rental companies in the area. Our experience with this cabin so far surpassed not only any past rentals but also our high expectations. The cabin was literally spotless, the amenities provided in the kitchen impressive, and the locale of the cabin was beautiful. I can't say enough about how these owners have maintained this cabin. Do yourself a favor and rent from them, you won't be sorry.

Having stayed in 2 other cabins in the area in the past, I would definitely say this was the best! Way more private than others we've seen. Hats off to the Faust's for the perfect getaway. The attention to detail made it all the more special. Thanks for the Christmas tree; an excellent touch.

A Really Great Cabon

My boyfriend and I just spent a long weekend in Gatlinburg. The cabin was awesome. It was a little hard to find and the roads up into the mountains are a little scary, but once you find it, it's really a nice little romantic getaway. The hot tub was great in December. It was in the upper 40's, low 50's during the day and cooler at night. The fireplaces were on a timer and were really easy to work. The cabin was very clean and nice. If we go back to the area, we will stay there again. They also have Charter on Demand which was a nice plus. Gatlinburg is a little cheesy, but we had a great time hiking in the mountains. We also had to leave a day early because we were worried about being snowed in, but it turned out it just rained. The roads are steep and the turns are sharp which is just something we were not used to being from St. Louis. Overall, the cabin was wonderful!

Neil and Lisa, we wanted you to know how much we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hidden Paradise. We LOVED it! The pictures don't do it justice! There's every convenience of home, and then some. It's beautifully decorated to feel very warm and cozy. I love the fall decorations :) And we saw a bear!!! We were out on the deck and it was right below us :) We can definitley tell how much work and love you guys put into the place. Can't wait to stay again. I can't imagine staying anywhere else! This place is fabulous. It lacks nothing and has everything to give you a true vacation, filled with peace and quiet. We spent 2 days inside due to rain, but we worked on our game of pool and enjoyed movies and our books. The only visitors were the raccoons, no bears. Nothing better than a cup of coffee and a hot tub soak in the morning. Sets the tone for the day. We are looking forward to another visit in 2011.

We stayed 4 nights and the time flew by! From my first of many e-mails to Lisa I was so impressed by her honest answers and her quick responses, you can tell this is much more than a rental cabin to her. The cabin was so perfect! Never had a fireplace on a deck before and we really enjoyed it. Loved all the windows in the loft, it was like living in the trees. I couldn't believe all the items Lisa and Neil have in the cabin. Flashlights in almost every drawer, coffee, laundry detergent, tons of towels, and a little first aide kit that came in very handy since I was bitten by a spider when I was sitting outside. The pool table, the WIFI, the 3 great flat screen tvs! I could go on and on! The location is also amazing I have never stayed this close to downtown, yet it seemed like you were miles away. We can't wait to go back for a future trip! Thanks Lisa and Neil for making us feel at home!

I wanted to let you know the cabin was really nice!!. The wife and I loved the location and how private everything was around the cabin. The cabin is only one mile from the major strip but how quite and private it is it seems like your miles away from town. The wife and I walked to the strip which took hardly no time. The cabin was clean and stocked like it says in the write up. We enjoyed it and when we go again we will stay at this cabin.

All we can say is WOW! This is a rare case where reality is better than the pictures! We had everything we needed and more..Everything was in working order and SO clean. Shiny wooden floors and decor was perfect. We loved sipping wine while in the hot tub and shooting pool! Very easy access to Gatlinburg but you forget you are so close when you get to the cabin. Was hoping to see a bear but did not..the only negative I can think of!! Hated to leave. Can't wait to come back.....thanks for a memorable time away!

This cabin is beautiful. It was very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable furniture, fully stocked kitchen, game room, secluded, great views . . . and a level driveway! The location is perfect - close to the craft loop, Greenbriar entrance to the GSMNP, grocery store, steak house and Italian restaurant in one direction and the Gatlinburg "strip" and additional park entrances in the opposite direction. We can't wait to come back!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Exceptionally clean, well stocked, really only need beach towels for hot tub. Has all spices, cooking supplies, etc. Would recommend Apple Farm in Sevierville for meal, or Parrot Tavern for british fare in Gatlinburg art and craft area, both are great!! If wasn't 12 hr drive for us would go yearly. Lisa very helpful with trip planning, even directions on how to use remote was written. State park is prime focus, rest of towns too commercial, except for art/craft area. Enjoy, you will not be disappointed.

The cabin is amazing!!! It was the perfect place to stay for our wedding weekend. We loved it so much that we have already booked it for our 1 year anniversary. Must see in person to really appreciate it. Has all the comforts of home plus some added bonuses. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We have stayed in a few cabins in this area in the past few years, this cabin by far was the best. The cabin was very clean and inviting. The location was perfect private but close to town. The pool table and hot tub was a great asset seeing as it rained most of our visit. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!!!

WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE!! MY WIFE AND I NEEDED TIME AWAY FROM WORK AND KIDS. WE COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR MORE. WE EVEN GOT LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE SNOW. THIS CABIN IS WONDERFUL AND PRIVATE BUT WITHIN MINUTES OF ANYTHING YOU MIGHT WANT TO DO. WE WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE A RETURN GUEST.

The Cabin is great! I think that this is one of the best trips I have taken in years; and the atmosphere of the Cabin really make you feel safe and secure. Installing that security system was a good idea even though the area seems to be safe! It is very cosey, comfortable and quiet. Lisa is very helpful in booking reservations! We will definitely be going back to A Hidden Paradise! Thank you for opening up your Cabin to us we are very appreciative!

I'm not sure that words could describe just how happy we were with our stay. It was our 25th Anniversary and we wanted to stay somewhere special...we definately made the right choice. The cabin felt so much like home from the time we walked in the front door. We really appreciated the privacy, but also being so close to downtown. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us...we will be back.

This cabin exceeded our expectations! We travel to this area several times a year, and found this rental to be one of the best. It was very well maintained and stocked. We could not have been more satistfied. We look forward to staying here again.

This is an amazing little place. Its so close to town - But it seemed so far away. We enjoyed the Hot tub & the deck the best. Oh & the pool table was awsome too! Everything is well stocked, Neat & Clean. We didnt get to see any wild life but the squirrles were amazing to watch. Its like they have there own little highway up in the trees. And Lisa is very helpful. If you are looking for a couples getway... Look no father... You have found it! Go & make some awsome memories!
