Our vacation Villa is located in The Villas at Somerset, Kissimmee, Florida, and ALL VILLAS THERE ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL! Some are owned by management companies who manage a large number of units and some are owned by individuals like us. The rental experience can vary significantly depending on which individual unit you rent. Rent one of the mass-marketed units and you may be disappointed.
Rent ours and we guarantee you won't be!!
As owners, we constantly upgrade our unit because it is our vacation home. Our Villa has a queen bed in the master bedroom, queen in the second bedroom, and two twins in the third bedroom. We bought the unit new and, since we purchased it, have upgraded the carpeting and furniture, installed brass fixtures in the bathrooms, ceramic tiled the floors in the bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and hallway, installed ceiling fans and TV's in all the bedrooms, a stained glass fixture in the dining room, added decorative plants throughout and hung wallpaper borders and new artwork in all the rooms. We recently added free high speed wireless internet access and large flat panel TV's in the living room and master bedroom.
Now you might say, "I don't care about all that, I just want a good price." We rent the Villa ourselves to keep our rates low by eliminating rental agency profits and would rather have it rented than vacant. Our rates are low and haven't increased in the last 15 years. The bottom line is you get a more luxurious Villa at less than you would pay for one of the mass-marketed ORDINARY ones!! Once you stay at our condo you will discover what all our repeat guests have found, our Villa is the best lodging value dollar for dollar in the Disney area!

Why the Owner Chose Villas of Somerset
Once we stayed in a vacation condo near Disney there was no going back to a single hotel room. Having the convenience of making a late night snack in the kitchen, grabbing a cold soda out of the fridge (no need to go get ice at the hotel ice making machine) or a scoop of ice cream out of the freezer, all without leaving the comfort of your condo, is just fantastic. There is also so much to do within minutes of the condo with the theme parks, water parks, restaurants and spring training baseball that we thought this is an area we will probably continue to return to because of our children and eventually our grand children. We decided we would invest in a vacation condo there. We are die-hard Yankee fans and spring training in Tampa is just an hour away! The trip from New Jersey to Kissimmee is about 17 hours by car and we have developed a routine that actually makes the trip very do-able. Often we have tools, supplies and artwork to bring down that cannot be easily taken on a plane, so the car trips become somewhat of a necessity. But above all else, we are just 3 1/2 miles from the Disney entrance and that is a joy (especially when you leave the park at night, completely exhausted, and know that you will be in bed a mere 10 minutes from now! )
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Now that our children are grown and visit the condo with their families and friends, Anna and I vacation there by ourselves and enjoy a restful, no pressure, no-schedule vacation that usually includes sprucing up the condo. Anna loves all the shopping. I'll bet that there must be 4 or 5 malls within a 10 mile radius of our unit with everything from the very upscale to the traditional chain stores to the fantastic outlets! Anna is a decorator in every sense of the word, so many of these shopping trips are geared toward finding something special to add to the decor of the condo. And we ALWAYS do!
Located on N. Poinciana Blvd about a quarter mile from Route 192 and just 3 1/2 miles from Orlando's Disney World entrance! Close to restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops!
You can walk to breakfast at Perkins Pancakes or The International House of Pancakes which are located at the corner of Poinciana and Route 192
This Super Walmart sells everything: fresh food, clothing and lots of low priced souvenirs.
The Olive Garden is located on Route 192. Make a right out of our parking lot, another right at the light onto 192 and the Olive Garden is about a quarter mile on the left.
Make a right out of the parking lot, a left at the light onto 192 and Old Town is about two miles on the left. Kidie rides, car shows, entertainment, karaoke and more shopping!

Me and my wife Anna live in Aberdeen, NJ and have three children and a Yorkshire Terrier named Ernie. When the children were younger, we decided to try a vacation condo near Disney. The advantages of being able to spread out in a 3 bedroom condo with the kids was fantastic! It actually was the reason we decided to purchase ! Our children still enjoy going down a few times a year with their friends and families.
Anna and I are very active in raising money for the fight against breast cancer, as Anna was diagnosed in 2002. She is now a 10-year breast cancer survivor! The picture is of me and Anna in our New Jersey backyard wearing our custom-made team sweatshirts the day of the annual 3K Breast Cancer Walk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. We also love country music and two-stepping and try to go dancing once a week.

We enjoyed our stay at your lovely condo. It was so much better than a hotel. The location is excellent – 10 minutes from Epcot and close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. At the same time, it is very quiet and comfortable. We have stayed at the Villas at Somerset many times over the past 15 years. The unit and property facilities as well as the location have proven very convenient for our frequent DisneyWorld trips as we travel with adult children and host visitors sometimes. On this recent occasion we ventured away from the property management group we had dealt with and tried VRBO. The advantage of being able to see on-line the exact unit we would be using was attractive to us. We were not disappointed! This unit is extremely well cared for. The price value is exceptional. Our only regret is that we did not find this unit earlier. Hope we have a chance to get back in the near future.

We were in her holiday- apartement in March and April 2011, she was very decorated and very clean. We have the two months felt very comfortable, so we have booking again in Feb. and March 2012. We had the opportunity to stay in your wonderful condo for a week and wished it was longer!! With so much to do in the area we never had the opportunity to enjoy the pool etc. at the condo complex. The condo was everything we hoped for and more. There were 5 of us and there was more than enough room!! The condo is conveniently located near all the amenities in the area. The complex is well looked after and we would certainly consider recommending your condo to others and if we ever get to Orlando again, we would look into renting it again ourselves. We managed to take in Magic Kingdom, Sea World, Epcot Centre, Hollywood Studios, Blizzard Beach and Joe's Crab Shack was wonderful. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great place to stay! When my family goes back to Orlando, i will definately check availablity here first. We did not have any problems. We felt very safe here.
