Villa Zama is a family owned beach house located on the white sand beaches of Tankah Bay, between Akumal and Tulum. This breezy house offers a unique experience for those with a love of the natural beauty of this area, the local culture and an independent spirit.
The world's second longest coral reef protects the bay and offers endless opportunities for snorkeling, diving, swimming and exploring in our two sea kayaks. Away from the tourist developments, you can enjoy your private beach, experience the blackest starlit skies from our terrace and sunbathe or siesta in the shade of a palapa covered patio. Just down the road is a well known beach bar/restaurant with great food and opportunities to meet fellow travelers from all over the world.
We have a wonderful Mexican family who live in a small house near the Villa who offer daily service, hospitality and 24 hour security. Our guests consistently comment on how much they appreciate Erasto and Consuelo being nearby. Within a few minutes drive is the Mexican village of Tulum and the small beach community of Akumal with all its restaurants, dive shops, information, shopping and markets.
