Warm up by the fire in the sun-drenched living room after a long day of skiing
Location: Tyra Summit, Four O'Clock, Breckenridge, Northwest, Colorado, USA
Accommodations: Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)
Keywords: Condominium
The perfect getaway!! Our vacation condominium was recently redecorated and the bathrooms were remodeled last year. It was done with comfort, style and warm touches to make it feel like a home away from home. A corner unit with lots of windows to keep it light, it has comfortable furniture and granite counters in the kitchen.
It is a true ski in ski out. The large back deck borders the 4 O'Clock ski run. Ski the morning, come home for lunch and go back out for the afternoon. It is a short 1/4 mile walk to town where you can enjoy the shops and the nightlife that Breckenridge has to offer. Or stay at home and BBQ on the deck overlooking the ski run and a natural preserve area beyond the run. Enjoy watching the skiers calling it a day while you sip a warm beverage beside the fireplace!
Tyra Summit has an indoor pool and two hot tubs, one inside and one outside. It is a great way to relax after a day on the slopes.
The master bedroom offers a king size bed and a private full bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a full bathroom immediately across the hall. Each bedroom has a television with cable. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa should you have the need for it.
Underground parking is available, with permit, to keep your car out of the snow.

We loved staying here, the view was great & the condo very comfortable. We felt like we were at home, except with the mountains & great hiking! We would stay here again on our next trip to Breckenridge.

My family and I visited Dave and Kelly's Breckenridge condo in July of 2011. I spend hours searching on-line for the perfect place and I think the time invested paid off in full! The place had everything we were looking for and more. The on-line pictures of the condo are nice but I don't think they due justice to the place. It's adorable and very clean and updated. We truly didn't have any complaints. It has a very spacious living room with lots of places for everyone to sit. The view is breathtaking and the location is great. Dave and Kelly make you feel warm and welcome and go the extra mile to make your stay more enjoyable from the welcome gift basket to the great soaps and shampoos and colorful and soft bath towels. If we return to Breckenridge we won't hesitate to return to their place!

We have stayed at this condo several times during the ski season and off season. It works perfectly for our skiing family. It could not be more convenient. Kitchen is well supplied, and the beds are comfortable. Because it is a corner unit, it feels much more light and bright and very private. Underground parking is very helpful. Great Rental!

We loved this place so much we came back and more than once summer and winter. Great space layout and with separate bedrooms and bathrooms means you still have privacy. The ground level location is fantastic as you can walk straight out to ski or hike and the massive deck space with a grill meant we could entertain comfortably outside. Close enough to town that it is a nice short walk but far enough away that you feel away from it all. We have gone back and will again.

To Every Season There is Magic Here

Situated right on the run, this warm and comfortable spot has afforded our family instant access to Four O'Clock Run in the winter and hiking in the summer. One minute you're sipping hot chocolate, and the next you are on the slopes of gorgeouus Breckenridge. Our favorite winter memory is when we spent Thanksgiving here. We were surrounded by family and friends, enjoying wine and the fire. Sure, there was a football game on, but the real show was watching skiers and boarders make their way down the slope with various degrees of grace and speed. The summer here is stunning. Twilight from the deck is maginificent! We've seen deer and moose meander by as the stars begin to pop out. Then it's off to town for some dinner. During the day, hiking trails are close, and you can't beat biking along The Blue. We've enjoyed this place in the fall as well. The area glows with the golds of autumn. The days are warm and the nights cool. The condo is beautifully and comfortabley appointed. It's quiet and clean, a retreat with the perfect blend of opportunity to do lots or nothing at all. We have lived in Colorado for years and travelled the state widely, but this is our favorite spot. It's the best of the Rocky Mountains any time of year.

A must. I have stayed at this place several times. I do not even try and find a better place. Granite surfaces, tile baths, confortable furniture and Oh ya best of all true ski in/out. Best place I have been and I have been using VRBO.com and other sites for the past 15 years. You can walk to down town Breck. The Snowflake ski lift opens early so getting first tracks is easy. It is a first floor end unit with a patio and grill you can auctually sit out on and enjoy. February 2011 was my 4th year in a row that I have stayed here and plan on a 5th. I honestly can not recommend a better place. The price I believe is the best around.

Ski-in/Ski-out, walk to town, hike up to peak 8, etc. Very well maintained property. How about a winter photo? The snow was so good last season you could nearly ski in the door! Also - thanks for the brand new BBQ on the deck - we really felt at home!
