Perfect location for all outdoor activities year around. Seven major Wilderness areas located within 10 to 60 minutes. Several first class restaurants in town. One mile to four-lane Highway 82, your route to Aspen and Glenwood.

Wow! This house is BEARY beautiful! This house has everything you would need for a vacation, whether it is a short or long stay.
It has a large open floor plan, comfortable bedrooms and every amenity you could think of from Cable TV to any kitchen utensil you could need. I felt so at home here, and didn't have to leave for anything.
It is located in the Rocky Mountains, close to the highway which leads to Aspen/Snowmass and great skiing/snowboarding (25 minutes away) or Glenwood Springs and its' famous Hot Spings (10 minutes away). Not only is this amazing property close to everything, but the view is breathtaking. Just out the large windows in the front room is a view of Mount Sopris that can't be beat.
Truth be told, I was BEARY sad to go, but I look forward to returning to this property. You are truly missing out if you don't choose this house for your next vacation.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and being at your home. It provided a wonderful relaxing environment for our family as we celebrated our daughter's wedding in Carbondale. I could not imagine having such a stunning home for these past two weeks. We had everything we needed plus spectacular views of Mt. Sopris and a fabulous porch to enjoy at any time of the day. Your home is very nicely appointed and just so relaxing.

We are a retired, fussy couple who have learned that it is best to preview rentals if at all possible. This is exactly what we did when we rolled into Carbondale for a two week fall color hiking adventure. Liz and daughter Sandy graciously arranged for us to see the home. It was exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful neighborhood, clean, interesting architecture, wonderfully and thoughtfully furnished, newish, and.......best of all, came with the ability to deal directly with the owner. We closed the deal over the phone and moved in.........and the home turned out to be even more comfortable than we had hoped. Everything worked, and everything was clean, and everything was first class. Additionally, the home is centrally located in the beautiful little town of Carbondale........our favorite in the whole Roaring Fork Valley. Aspen is one way, and Glenwood Springs was the other for unrivaled convenience. Hiking and site seeing were exceptional, as were the aspen and other fall colors. In summary, there are very few rental homes as nice and comfortable as this Carbondale jewel......anywhere. Our greatest disappointment............was that it was not available for us to stay a month! Thanks Liz and Sandy for the wonderful stay! Sincerely, D. & D.
