Our stay was with out a doubt a 5 star experience. We felt right at home when we arrived, the atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable. The beach across the street was very nice and we used the bikes to go up to the pier a few times-- really fun. The property was clearly well maintained and clean. The manager was very good to us. We definately recommend this property. The TVs and stereo in the living room all very impressive. Our kids had a blast with the closet full of beach toys. Also it was nice to have beach chairs and towels and everything we needed for the beach there for us in the garage..

Wonderful family vacation

Our family of 12 just concluded our stay in this beautiful property and its beaches that were so close. All said they loved the stay. For our family, the large main floor provided area for our 6 children to play together and the second floor bedrooms were all lovely. The temperatures were in the 70's and we just opened windows to have those beautiful Oceanside sea breezes. The roof with its lounges and seaside view were spectacular at sunset especially. Furniture, kitchen equipment and new floors were great. We got to one restaurant on the list provided by the owner and it was wonderful for our family.

Just wanted to say thank you for another great year using your Oceanside property! Once again we found the home in great condition and enjoyed our time there very much. The house had everything you need and more. Walking distance to the pier, restaurants, and not to mention steps from the beach. I will always keep this house in mind in the future and using the home for the second time may have been better than the first, thanks again!

Extraordinary beach house

What a vacation my family and I just had! My teenagers along with the rest of us felt like we were staying at a 5 star resort. The beach was absolutely incredible in front of the house. Literally we walked out the door, down 3 houses and we were in paradise at the beach. We were on the beach and up on the 3rd story patio most of the time looking out at the beautiful ocean and sunsets. But when we were inside watching tv (and a lot of the DVDS that were provided) we were totally living it up with the big screen tv and crazy good surround sound speakers. It was like being in a movie theatre. Very impressive electronic equipment. Also the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, the pictures matched what we got plus more. We definately recommend this property to any family who loves to feel like they are royalty. The beds were like big lush hotel beds. The owner/manager was overwhelmingly good to us also. We went to SeaWorld and Disneyland, ...didn't want to leave at the end of our week. We are coming back. Thank you Sigmans!

Ultimate full-package beach house

This house exceeded all of our expectations. Our family is very large but felt like we had ample space to relax. The two masters are on opposite sides of each other, privacy was great. Every bedroom had a TV and the living rooms' entertainment system is very impressive.. surround sound incredible. We enjoyed the view from our master bedroom balcony--all the way up to the pier (where we ate at Ruby's- very fun. We saw dolphins from our table). Everything we needed in the kitchen was there and house was clean and very impressive. All in all we loved every minute of our vacation. Also the beach is really nice in front of the house. Couldn't ask for more in a vacation rental. We highly recommend this rental, the manager was really nice and helpful too.

Awsome weekend

Our family rented this property to have a small family reunion. It was wonderful. The house was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed and more. Steps away from the beach and the third story rooftop with views to die for. Our family had such a memorable time and are all looking forward to doing it again very soon. The owners were more than accommodating to all our needs. The kids still talk about how much fun they had and how much they want to go back.

Worst place I ever rented

Our family has been renting properties in San Diego every summer for the past 10 yrs. This was the worst ever....only due to the house not being maintained. Roaches.....bike tires flat with bent rims. Garage was a mess. Bloody sheets on a couple of the beds. It was apparent to me that whoever was responsible for maintaining the property fell short. I have the video to prove it.

Owner response:Please notice that this lady "Jane Doe" stayed a week in the summer and five months later posted this...this is the sister of the nice lady who is on the contract...who didn't have a problem with the house at all when I talked to her while they were staying there. Our extremely detail oriented cleaner showed me the rust-like stains that were coming out on the laundry.. my dryer does this sometimes.. there are these red/rust color marks that mysteriously appear on some loads. It was very obvious it wasn't blood. We have gotten a new dryer since then. Also my mother-in-law is obsessed with buying new bedding all the time, we actually just replaced all the sheets and comforters again this weekend! She loves shopping for new things for our beach house. Jane Doe is trying to make the review sound horrible because she has been trying to get money back from me from the start. She found out that these vacation websites just started a new thing where they won't hide bad reviews, and she is trying to use the review as blackmail for me to give her a full refund.. I asked her to put it in writing... any how. The garage is beautiful and clean and the property is in the best condition its ever been in. We are constantly upgrading the house and its amenities. We take GREAT pride in our only vacation rental and our family spends time down there often. We have a monthly terminix maintenance service on the house just so you know, no problem there either. We try to please everyone, but I've learned after 5 years of renting this house out that 99% of people are extremely happy and LOVE the house. But no matter what area in life you are dealing with, someone is always going to be unhappy and complain. I'm sure you all agree! Trust our family when we say.. this is a grand, amazing, fun and beautiful vacation home next to a perfect beach and we can ensure you that you and your family will love it!!

Our family of 4 along with another family of 4 rented this house in August 2008. It was absolutely perfect! The location is ideal - just a few steps from the beach (which is great when you have little kids who need to go back to the house during the day!) It is quite spacious and very well-laid out with all the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The best feature is the roof deck - you can drink your coffee up there in the AM and then relax and have wine up there in the PM while watching the surfers and sailboats! The house is fully stocked with everything you need and there are large flat screen TVs in the main rooms which was nice. The kitchen is very functional and contains much cookware and dishes/glasses. We really enjoyed the proximity to the town of Carlsbad - there are many cute restaurants there. We also really enjoyed walking down to the strand to the pier in the mornings.

West Coast Rental

This is the first time we have ever rented on the West Coast. The home was beautiful. We normally vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We have rented many different homes at the same property, in Duck, for over ten years. We loved the Oceanside home and the beach adjacent to the home. The roof top patio was amazing. Everything was clean, and ready to go when we arrived. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We would reccommend it to anyone and would plan on staying there again. Upon our arrival the home was clean, beautiful, stocked with everything we needed, had a gorgeous view, and was exactly as the ad described it. It was located only steps from the beach and our walks every morning were wonderful! The house seemed almost brand new! And although we had a few problems with the TV, someone was out to help almost immediately. Great customer service! Thank you!
