The chalet is centrally located on a spring fed, 300 acre lake with absoutely gorgeous views. Enjoy all water sports, many golf courses, all within 25 minutes away, watch the kids swim and fish during the day, and relax by the bon fire at night.
This fabulous chalet is only 10 minutes from Indian River, 20 minutes from Gaylord, just 30 minutes to Petoskey. Take a trip to historic Mackinaw Island, visit Petoskey's Gaslight District for a day of shopping, Harbor Springs for lunch at the Pier Restaurant, and if you feel lucky check out the ultimate new Odawa Casino in town. For you downhill skiers, and snowboarders, Nubs Nob, Boyne Highands, Tree Tops, and Boyne Mountain, all within a 25 minute drive.
This beautiful newly built 3,000 square foot home has a luxurious master bedroom suite with a king size bed, spacious walk-in closet, and your own private bath. Main floor includes a second bedroom, with a full size bed, across from the full bath. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans.
The walk out basement also features a third bedroom with a full, and a twin size bed. Kids will enjoy Air Hockey, Foosball, DVD, Video Games, T.V. and half bath.
The Public Access is less than 1/4 mile, if you decide to bring a boat or jet skis, otherwise there is a row boat included with the rental. Enjoy river rafting by kayak,canoe, or tubing on the Sturgeon River. It is the fastest river in the lower peninsula, or you may choose to take the slower route for the scenic tour. Henley's rentals are minutes from our chalet. Marine is also located close for your motor rental needs.
WildWood lake has a 9 hole golf course, clubhouse and food for your enjoyment. Also check out the largest Crucifix in the world, at the Indian River Shrine and visit the unique shops on Main Street.
Full width deck is great for grilling, and watching beautiful sunsets.
We also provide fine dining menu's to view from local restaurants, brochures from marina's,all the activities in the area, most of all you will love our beautiful piece of property, and want to come back year after year!

We had a great time! What a beautiful house! And the view (especially the sunset at night) is AMAZING! Very relaxing area.....away from the commotion of bigger cities, yet close enough to visit any of them. Carrie, the owner, was great to work with! Replying quickly to emails and answering any questions or concerns right away! She even got back to me right away when we had a question while staying at the Chalet. There is so much room in the house that your family wont be crowded! Very nicely decorated and had everything we needed in the kitchen! They even had a basket of toys for our boys! The lake water was nice and warm as well. Though we didnt get a chance to use it there is a nice fire pit about half way between the house and the lake. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to vacation/relax/have a good time!

Stayed here for a Friday and Saturday night over Christmas. The Chalet was in superb shape, the only thing I could complain about was the amount of flies in the Chalet which must have been trapped in there from the Fall. The Chalet itself is in great condition, very nice and clean and everything functions appropriately. The owners are very nice to deal with and hospitable. The Chalet is much bigger than you would think, there are 3 bedrooms and the place could easily sleep 10 people. We only used the upstairs bedroom, but all the other rooms were nice and taken care of. Beware of the neighbors dogs across the street though, they are aggressive and come onto the property and bark at you. Thanks for the great vacation!

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at this property. We had fun canoeing in the calm waters with little other boat traffic during the week. My husband enjoyed fishing in the evening. We also enjoyed the resident loons and eagle we were able to see. The deck offers a good view of the lake! We found the property close enough for excursions to Makiac island, Petoskey and Sturgeon Bay. The owners are eager to make your stay enjoyable.

We rented the first week of August with our daughters and their families. The chalet is beautiful and the view is unabelievable. Our grandchildren enjoyed the fishing--but sometimes they caught turtles instead of fish. We would recommend this property for family vacations.
