Our 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath townhouse villa is located in Forest Beach, just 2 blocks from the white sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Also within walking distance is the world-renowned Van der Meer Tennis Center and Coligny Plaza.
Very attractively furnished and receiving much sunlight throughout the day, this second floor entry townhome has three levels and promises to be a great vacation spot. The first level, which is the main level, consists of the living/dining areas, the kitchen and a half bath.
There is updated furniture, flooring and carpet on this level, adding to the attractiveness of the villa. The balcony off the living area has spiral steps leading down to the pool area, providing the convenience of being steps from the pool.
The second level has two of the three bedrooms and the washer and dryer. Equally decorated with attractive furnishings and accessories, these two bedrooms are quite spacious and each has a full private bathroom. The king bedroom has a television and a direct view of the pool.
The third level master bedroom is a loft area with sitting area and a King size bed. This bedroom has vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan and a television. The bathroom has been updated and now has a sky light, jacuzzi tub and separate step-in shower, both with mosaic walls and casing.
Courtside is located just 1 1/2 blocks off South Forest Beach, on DeAllyon. They are conveniently located close to Van der Meer Tennis Center. These villas are within a short bike ride to shops, restaurants, and tennis. Great for a family vacation.

Year Purchased: 2000
My wife Christi and I were married in May 1991. We met after college -- she went to Bowling Green University and I went to the University of Dayton. I am originally from western Pennsylvania, and my wife grew up in the military - so she has lived lots of places. We have two sons, one in middle school and one in High School. Both boys play soccer, basketball, baseball, and are both still involved in Scouts. We have always loved Hilton Head. I actually proposed to Christi during a night walk on the beach in Hilton Head, under a full moon. We have many memories of trips we've made to the Island, and plan to have many more -- eventually planning to retire to the Island.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
One of the reasons we purchased this particular villa was the sheer size of villa. Of all the villas we looked at it was certainly the most spacious. The living room and kitchen are located on the 2nd floor of our complex...with two bedrooms and laundry located on the 3rd floor...and a spacious master bedroom with sitting area located on the 4th floor. The spiral staircase off of our back patio leads you right to the entrance of Courtside's main pool.

(from our Guestbook) Thanks for lending us your lovely condo. We really enjoyed the accomodations, only wish you could control the weather. It was hot, hot, hot! (I nknow, what did we expect for the last week of July). We did our best to enjoy biking all over - down the beach to South Beach and Salty Dog. Early in the morning was bearable and beautiful. Also loved the Rits'a Custard, and Delicioso Yogurt place by the rental office. Saw dolphins in Broad Creekby the Old Oyster Factory, and alligators in several places. Two jellyfish stings, but no major sunburns!

(from our Guestbook) Thanks Jim and Christi! We had a great time! This was our 1st trip toHilton Head, and we did lots of fun things! Spent lots of time at the beach, pool, and riding bikes. Jerry and Kevin golfed at Harbortown. Three of the boys went parasailing, and we all went on a raft ride to see the dolphins. Saw an alligator on the beach, and none of us got stung by jellyfish! We learned not to ride with the wind and then try to turn around on the beach. Thanks for a great week.

(from our Guestbook) This was our 2nd time to Hilton Head. 1st time in your condo. Our vacation was wonderful, facilities were great. This was the perfect size for families with children. We were witnesses to a rare occasion, a croc had made it's way into the ocean and was spotted from the swimming area! Coligny Plaza was fun in the evenings, especially for the kids. The placement of your condo is perfect, next to the pool. The adults can relax on the balcony in the mornings with their coffee while the kids go for a swim! Thank you for sharing your second home, we love it and will certainly be back! God Bless.

(from our Guestbook) Our vacation here on Hilton Head was a lot of fun! We celebrated two birtdays - our oldest who turned 12, and our youngest who turned 3. We rented bikes for the week, went to the beach every day, swam in the pool, went kayaking, played miniature golf, saw the lighthouse, ate ice cream twice, went to a movie, and saw several alligators on our ride through the nature preserve. We also visited the Island Fudge Shoppe. Our last day here has been spent inside because of rain, but we've enjoyed playing games and having some downtime before we leave for home in the morning. Your condo was perfect for our family of 7 and we have lots of special memories to take back home to Bowling Green, KY. This vacation has been one of our favorites!

We enjoyed looking for crabs at night, body surfing, skim boarding, swimming in the pool, Salty Dog, Coligny Circle, Java Joe's and the Tiki Bar. (from our Guestbook) JULY 19 - WE'RE HERE! This is our 2nd year coming to HHI and staying at Courtside. We brought a third couple and this place seems to be perfect for space -- although we drew numbers for the bedrooms because all wanted the 3rd floor "penthouse". Well...here's to a great week! More to come in our guestbook entries... JULY 20 - WHEW! A hot day of overcast skies! We enjoyed the beach and dinner at Old Oyster Factory... now on to the games! JULY 21 - You may have guessed...several entries from us! We're friendly like that. We had a fourth couple tonight - our friends from GA - came up for games and dinner (pizza from Mellow Mushroom, they have great salads!). We also celebrated one couple's one month anniversary! JULY 22 - A cloudy day. But we still spent hours on the beach. We made chicken fajitas and went for ice cream on our bikes!! JULY 24 - We decided to go into Sea Pines early to get a few gifts at Salty Dog Cafe. Good choice because there aren't as many people there (compared to afternoons and evenings). South Beach and Harbortoen get very busy with little parking. So be sure to go early. Yesterday we went to Harbortown to ride wave runners (H2O Sport Rrentals). They had fun but had to ride in the rain a bit. We're sad that tomorrow is our last day though. We're going to make the best of it!! We saw lots of dolphins swimming today at the beach! Here's hoping for alot of sun tomorrow. JULY 25 - Alas...our last day...and it was so beautiful!! Had dinner at Steamers, a great place for food (try the crab/shrimp dip!). As for our stay we enjoyed the extra room, the pool (always refreshing after the beach), the pond, and the overall closeness to the many things the island has to offer. Bikes are must for the stay. We loved taking bike rides daily as a way to relax. Courtside is the perfect place for us Ohioans! Thanks for a great home to spend it in!!
