It is also close to antiquing, fall festivals, Purdue Lafayette to attend a game or two only 30 minutes, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, golfing, a drive in theatre and other cinemas, hunting, and you choose the activity of your choice, as there is much to do in the fall with festivals and in the winter with cross country skiing, or just getting away to have some quiet time with the family or on your own. Come out for the Brown County Covered Bridge Festival. More than anything, it is just a place to getaway and relax as well, if nothing else.
Perfect for someone who may be a writer, a retired couple looking to getaway, or a snowbird who needs a quiet place to think or getaway. The town provides many restaurants and local opportunities for shopping, antiquing, and much more.
The rental can include a 1982 fish and ski boat or you can bring your own fishing or other recreational boat or pontoon boat. There is a $7 fee to drop your boat in the lake.
