"I could write a book. As small business owners and the parents of 4 children (ages 11, 5, 3 and 7 months) my husband and I find it incredibly challenging to find a vacation where we can really relax. It seems most of our vacations are only more work for us...then we found 3 Snowy Egret.
We did something we've always wanted to do, which was bring our children's grandmother and great grandmother (age 95) to spend the week with our children at the beach. The house is incredibly spacious and the layout affords privacy when you want it and togetherness when you don't. The large kitchen allowed us to cook and sit down very comfortably as one big happy family and enjoy our meals together.
The layout also allowed us to check in with our office via e-mail and make calls as needed, all while watching our children swim in the pool. (Try that at the Marriott!)
The property is incredibly private and peaceful, but at the same time, the beach and the bike trails were amazingly convenient. We never knew how much fun it could be to go on a long family bike ride together.
It was a memory making week. My 7 month old learned to crawl! My 3 year old discovered she has a real connection to nature, as she fell in love with the sea turtles and the dolphins swimming right off the shore. My 5 year old learned to ride his two wheeler and my 11 year old reveled in his new-found sense of freedom as he was allowed to go (unsupervised) on long bike rides. Everything my children wanted to do was right there in the back yard. It was the kind of vacation you dream about. 3 Snowy Egret stole our hearts!"
