Enjoy 1200 square feet of retirement living in this Florida style home. It is tastefully decorated in pastels, with gulf coast accents. The community center is an appealing quadrangle with dance and meeting hall, library, game room and party room. A fully equipped woodworking shop and picnic park or putting green area are on the premises. There is a year round calendar of organized events to participate in, or not, as one chooses. Men's and women's tennis leagues welcome members and substitutes. The tennis courts are available except during scheduled play. The community pool has scheduled water aerobics five days per week.
Our Marina is on Forked Creek, which winds through beautiful canal-side homes, to the intercoastal waterway and a 15 minute run to a pass into the Gulf of Mexico. The marina has resident Manatees and good fishing for Snook, Redfish and Sheepshead. Get acquainted with some of the boat-owners for an outing to Don Pedro Island state park or maybe an offshore fishing trip for Grouper and Snapper. Englewood is on Lemon Bay, a wide area of the intercoastal popular with kayakers, and offers many areas for shallow water wade fishing for Sea Trout and Redfish.
We are 45 minutes from Sarasota airport and 20 minutes to Venice, Florida. Manasota beach is a five minute drive for a walk on the beach and a popular place to watch Gulf sunsets.
