Pine Barrens is nestled among 100 year old pine trees, offering 4 bed rooms and two baths. This home has an open concept living room, dining room, and full kitchen with dishwasher, and is centered with a large field stone fireplace between two sliding doors, leading to a large lakeside deck. The lower level is a walk-out to completely level sand frontage and private pier.

The upper level has 2 bedrooms, one with king bed and the other with double bed, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dining room, full bath and living room. The lower level walk-out has 2 bedrooms, one with two twins and other is a huge lakeside bedroom with three slideing glass doors and a queen bed. A bath and laundry room with washer and dryer, and a family room with double futon.

If you have additional family or friends that would like to join you on your vacation to the Northwoods, Pine Barrens has a two bedroom guest house right next door. This cozy cabin offers a double and single bed in each bedroom. Both bedrooms have its own vanity sink in each. Fully equipped sunken kitchen with French doors leading to the lakeside deck. Brick fireplace in the lakeside living room. Can be rented with or without Pine Barrens home for $725 a week.

Both beautiful homes are located on Big St. Germain Lake, which is a 1600 acre 3-lake chain. DNR rated this lake a Class A Musky lake that also offers many other species of fish. All water sport activities are acceptable on this lake.

Enjoy swimming, boating, skiing, or fishing on St. Germain Lakes or relax around the campfire ring during the Summer. Tour the area on our many spectacular back roads or bike trails, hit some golf balls on one of the area's fine golf courses or experience the local restaurants, wineries, shops and festivals. Horseback riding, animal farms, free water ski shows, and river canoe trips are among other fun activities in the area.

Snowmobile or ice fishing anyone? For the winter enthusiast, we are right on the Award Winning Bo-Boen snowmobile trail system, which connects with 1600 miles of signed and groomed trails, for some of the best riding you will find anywhere in the USA. Snowmobile right from your door. Snowshoe through 475,000 acres of forest land, with separate Cross-country skiing trails. Ice fishing on St. Germain Lakes is an experience you will not want to miss!
