The place is spotless clean and the style of the furniture gives the villa an luxuries but warm appearance. Fishing dock and the big pool are great. Very nice wildlife; raccoons, amarillo, white heron (alligator had one for breakfast), turtles, bass etc. Owners are great to deal with. We stayed for 16 days. Most of the time we went to Boca Grande beach. Besides that we went to Sea World (2h45m driving time) and rented a boat at the Gasparilla Marina. A lot of restaurants in the neighborhood (fish restaurant in Placida harbour is great) and in Port Charlotte (20 min). We had a wonderful time in Rotonda!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

A beautiful villa with everything as descibed. The high standard and quality of this property make it the best villa we have stayed in. It is very well maintained and was spotlessly clean. The pool is a major bonus as it is such a great size. Many hours spent bobbing on a lilo watching the wildlife especially the 'gator in the canal!! The owners were a pleasure to deal with. Any questions were dealt with swiftly and effectively. We will definately return!
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We spent a wonderful two months in this house and will be going back again next winter. The house is beautifully furnished and the location, overlooking a canal, is ideal for watching wildlife and just spending time relaxing around the pool. The house was immaculate when we arrived and lived up to the photos and description. The owners and the property manager were very helpful whenever we were in touch with them. There are many places to visit in the area as well as a good choice of restaurants. It really is an ideal place to spend some time.

My wife and i stayed here for 10 days,we wished it had been longer !.One of those places where the pictures do not do it justice.Very clean,very well maintained and the property agents were some of the most helpfull and friendly we have come across.We appreciated the furnishings and style,it feels like a very upmarket boutique hotel and the larger pool is definately a bonus.Also do not miss the sunset from the boat dock.We are definately coming back and would happily recommend this home.We also received some excellent advice from the owners and picked up some handy information on flights,car hire and the local area.
