Nestled in tall pines, our town home is located in Tyrolean Village, within walking distance to Diamond Peak Ski Resort! During winter, Diamond Peak offers great skiing with stunning views of Lake Tahoe, all without the high prices or crowds found at other Tahoe resorts. Got kids? Diamond Peak offers the Bee Ferrato Children’s Ski Center, offering ski and board instruction for children!
Our 1400 square feet town home was remodeled in 2005 with new floors, new windows, new paint, new kitchen counter top and all new appliances. The majority of furnishings are also new. The upstairs great room combines a living room with vaulted ceiling and a large stone fireplace with gas insert. Our adjoining dining area has a large table that seats eight. A full bath is adjacent to the living room. The spacious kitchen is updated with all new appliances and granite tile counter tops.
Step out on to our front deck for views of Crystal Ridge and Great Flume ski runs on Diamond Peak. Two downstairs bedrooms offer queen and king beds and full bathroom and laundry. A third bedroom is set up for children, with a wood bunk bed and couch that converts into a sleeper. The unit has two televisions, CD player, two DVD Players, and Gamecube electronic gaming systems. We have a nice selection of current and tasteful DVD movies for adults and children.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Tyrolian Village
Incline Village is a wonderful vacation community. It is located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, generally quieter and more relaxed then the south and western shores. There are endless opportunities to have fun year-round, including skiing, swimming in the lake, hiking, mountain biking, golf, and much more. Our townhouse is located within walking distance to Diamond Peak Ski Resort, which offers great skiing without the crowds and high cost of the larger resorts. During the summer, our property has easy access to hiking and mountain biking in the Mt Rose Wilderness Area.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhouse
By far, the greatest benefit we enjoy is the peace and quiet we experience when we visit, especially during the summer months. Because our property is located a short distance up in the mountains, away from the lake, we escape the noise and crowds that are found in the lakeshore areas. Although we are a 5 minute driving distance from the lake, it feels much farther away. We enjoy being away from the crowds, and guests who have stayed in our vacation home during the summer months have told us the same thing!
Trailhead access to the Tyrolian Descent Trail which connects Tyrolian Village/Diamond Peak with Tahoe Meadows and the Tahoe Rim Trail. This trail is popular with hikers and mountain bikers.

After having rented Lake Tahoe vacation properties for many years, my wife and I decided to purchase our own. Lake Tahoe has always been an ideal vacation destination for our family because of its beauty, variety of outdoor activities, and proximity to the San Francisco Bay Area, where we live. Every trip we make to our Lake Tahoe home feels like a vacation, whether it be a short weekend trip or longer stay. We feel very fortunate. We also enjoy making our property available to guests through the VRBO.com service. We enjoy sharing our Tahoe knowledge and experience with guests, especially those visiting for the very first time.
