In winter: ski world-class ski facilities like Panorama to the West, Lake-Louise and Banff to the North, and Kimberley ski resort to the south. In the evening, relax in the jacuzzi bath, or warm up by the crackling fire-place.
In summer, enjoy wonderful hiking, boating, fishing, golf and swimming. There is plenty to see and do. The great public beach is only 5 minutes away, as is the public boat launch in Windermere.
Of course, you can just sit on the deck, catch up on your reading and watch the hummingbirds, wood-peckers, bald eagles and occasional deer and elk.
