DIRECT OCEANFRONT!! EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS UNIT IS LUXURIOUS--FROM THE VIEWS TO THE LINENS--IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS! Our spectacular condominium is located on Kauai’s incredible north shore overlooking the Blue Pacific Ocean. It is just steps from the Luxurious St. Regis Hotel in Princeville Resort and has recently been completely renovated. A short trail down the bluff brings you to secluded Hideaways Beach where you will experience some of the best snorkeling, diving, whale watching, and kayaking in Hawaii.
Minutes away from two top-rated golf courses: the 27 hole Makai Course and the #1 rated Prince Course, this spectacular 2000 square foot, two bedroom, two bath unit has been totally remodeled. Everything from the custom kitchen to the new gas grill and lounge chairs to the enclosed solarium is top of the line. Total privacy and incredible views from this third floor unit are unsurpassed. The complex is built into the side of a hill, so the view from our 3rd floor unit is direct oceanfront and even the 2nd bedroom has spectacular views of mountains and waterfalls--not the parking lot or sidewalk where others can look in (like the first and 2nd floors!!)
The condo is outfitted with every amenity including a grill on the lanai, a telescope for viewing the pods of whales and dolphins that frolic and play directly in front of the condo, and free high-speed Internet access. The living room is equipped with a TV, Bose stereo surround sound system, Blue Ray and CD player.
The master bedroom, furnished with a king-size bed and a TV, faces the ocean. It has a large, walk-in shower and Japanese soaking tub where you can sit and watch the waves. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and an unbelievable view of the mountains and 1500 foot waterfalls. There is an inflatable mattress that can transform the solarium into an additional sleeping room available for your use. This beautifully landscaped complex also offers a heated pool and tennis court.
Come and breathe the fresh Kauai air, smell the tropical flowers, relax on secluded beaches, hike incredible rain forests to thousand foot waterfalls, experience the Na Pali Coast, or just sit back on the lanai and watch as whales teach their young to breach or pods of dolphins go spinning by!
Incredible, Romantic and Tropical - it just doesn't get any better than this!

We really enjoyed this condo - great location and excellent amenities. The photos are very accurate; tremendous ocean view, very clean and convenient. The tennis courts and pool are a nice bonus and the path down to the beach is much easier than some of the other paths on the island -- and well worth the hike (our 5 year old could do it). Snorkeling from the beach (which is very secluded) was excellent. Access to Princeville Resort (for breakfast) was very easy. We would definitely stay here again and we'd recommend it to others.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Although we have done much travelling, I must say that Kaua'i is in a category of its' own! What a beautiful, amazing island and what a great condo to stay in! Danny and Linda are great to deal with. Arrived late into Lihue but found the condo without a hitch...even in the dark! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt at home and the aloha spirit overtook us! Going to bed at night in the most comfortable bed with the silkiest sheets and the sound of the crashing waves was enough to take one's breath away! The pictures provided a good idea but they really DON'T do justice...it is a GREAT condo! Having a washer and dryer is also an added bonus and Danny and Linda have been gracious enough to provide Boogie Boards, snorkels, fins, coolers, beach chairs, towels,,,how awesome is that? We'd wake to the sounds of the waves crashing and...the roosters...oh yes...the roosters (lol), with a cup of Kauai coffee, make a big breakfast and plan our days...stay in (do a puzzle ,play a game of Scrabble...relax with island music), go for a walk (or run), go for a drive, go to a market, go Boogie Boarding, snorkeling, walking on the beach...any beach...pick a beach, a bazillion photo ops within minutes of the condo. Yes, make the Helicopter Trip a priority...you will not regret it! Jack Harter offers the "Doors Off" and it is breathtaking and an experience NOT to miss! If you do nothing else "touristy" do this! We also did a Luau at the "Smith's" and had a great time...they have been given some so/so reviews but it was a great "family owned/run" experience with great photo ops and an entertaining evening to boot! The drive to (Ke'e Beach?) the "end of the road" past Hanalei Bay is sooo scenic, with all of the one lane bridges and little shops, huge waves...crazy pictures...words fail me! I must say that the northern part of the island is (by far) more beautiful than any other part and we drove as far as a person could drive! If we didn't feel like going too far but wanted more sun (yes, December is winter), Anini Beach never disappointed...a little rocky but crazy waves...even saw turtles while snorkeling! The golf courses are spectacular...although I would find it hard to concentrate on golf while walking through paradise!!! Thank you for this wonderful experience and we look forward to our next visit! "Mahalo" and "A hui hou kakou, Kaua'i"Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a great condo!! Truly did not want to come home. Fell in love with Kauai and the people. The condo has everything, now a cutting board because we couldn't find one so we added one to the kitchen. Loved cooking and eating and playing cards everyday. Snorkeling at Hideaways beach is wonderful. Best snorkeling we had and lots of turtles. Even a Hawaiian Monk Seal that made the beach its home for the day. Did the helicopter ride from the Princeville airport, AWESOME!! Did the Napali coast snorkel trip that was wonderful. Lots of hikes, exploring and just relaxing. After spending 10 days on Oahu in Feb of 2012, Kauai was a breath of fresh air, less people and less traffic by far!! Have been to Maui and Oahu several times, first time to Kauai and can't wait to come back!!! The roosters like to wake you up every morning but came to love them by the end of our stay. The Dolphin in Hanalei had wonderful sushi!! Loved everything about this condo and Kauai. Thank you so much to Danny and Linda for sharing your beautiful home. Clean and great location.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

My boyfriend and I just returned from an 8 night stay at this wonderful condo! We have spent much time on all the other islands except Kauai! The pictures on the website very accurately displayed the beauty of this magical place. The views from just about every room were incredible and the sound of the surf sang us to sleep each night. The location in Princeville was perfect....we had 3 great rounds of golf on some incredible golf courses! We enjoyed exploring Hanalei Bay and highly recommend the restaurant the Postcard Cafe. We can also highly recommend a one hour tour in a small plane from Air Adventures. The scenary was amazing and it was a great introduction to the island's landscape. The owners, Linda and Danny, could not have been more helpful. The lovely touches that they have in their vacation home shows a pride of ownership and they were also very accessible for questions etc. We will be back to Kauai again and hope to stay in this lovely Hawaiian home!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is my first visit to Hawaii. I am so pleased with our accommodations in Unit 303. Our unit was spotless, the layout terrific and the view is to die for! I dealt with the owners in making my reservation and they were so fantastic in answering my questions and helping me make my travel plans. They also gave terrific suggestions for restaurants, activities and places of interest. There is so much to do in this area or sometimes just kick back and do nothing! In the morning I walk the stairs at the St. Regis. It is a challenge and gorgeous view. then I walk about 2 miles down the road and back. There are beautiful golf courses right in the community. can't wait to play 9 holes overlooking the ocean. We have enjoyed the use of the pool and relaxing on our own private patio. There is a steep path leading to a private beach right on the property. definitely do it but wear tennis shoes, it is a very tough walk but extremely exhilarating when you survive....I mean get back to the top! I cannot put into words the view and the peace I feel when I sit outside. I look forward to coming here again. Next time I want to come in December when there are whales and larger waves.. This is the place to be. I could not imagine being anywhere else. I would recommend this unit to everyone wanting a true Hawaiian experience. it is fantastic to sit here at night and listen to the waves crashing. This is a dream come true for me! When we took our first vacation together 10 years ago it was at Puu Poa 303. I remember going up while my honey unloaded the bags and running down saying "You won't believe it - it's even more beautiful than the pictures." We have returned every year - sneaking in more and more days - first trip was one week - next year, and we are already booking tix - it will be three weeks. Why? Puu Poa 303 is heaven on earth. The views are amazing - the ocean from the master bedroom and waterfalls from the 2nd bedroom. The sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep. But you can find that in other places too. What you can't find is a unit so beautiful - yet so inviting and comfortable - you can really tell how much love the owners Danny and Linda put into it. A gourmet kitchen with anything you'd ever need - and there's an ocean view from the kitchen too! A beautiful living room that makes me sigh - and yet you feel very comfy lounging around on that big oversized couch which allows two to snuggle quite nicely. A t telescope to watch the stars, an amazing selection of music, beautiful things to look at on the walls - some days we never make it anywhere past the gorgeous view from the deck! But if you do want to go somewhere you are a five minute drive from the most beautiful beach in the world - Hanalei Bay - all the great restaurants in Hanalei - great snorkeling - the lighthouse and bird sanctuary. And they make it so easy for you - beach chairs, beach towels, tennis rackets, snorkel gear ... the only thing you need to pack is flip flops, a pair of shorts, a bathing suit and you're ready to go! So if you want to relax in a beautiful, well-equipped fabulously wonderful condo in the most mesmerizing place on earth - Kauai's north shore - book Puu Poa 303 - but not during MY days cause we assume we'll be having our 20th year in a row 10 years from now!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Loved having a washer and dryer and kitchen. Nice kitchen. The walk to be private beach was not do-able for us. We had a 3 year old and a 67 year old with us and no hiking shoes. It rained almost the entire time we were there, so it was just too steep and wet. The first day we got there, it was HOT! and we were wishing we had A/C, but then it rained the rest of the trip, so we were fine. LOVED the view from the bedroom. Our son loved the tub in the master. Thanks for sharing your condo with usRecommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Wow - what a great location at a great rate! My wife and I and 2 of our children (21 & 16) spent a week in the Kauai Dreamer and truly was a dream! We've been to multiple islands multiple times, this being our 2nd trip to Kauai. By far, this was our best experience and that was because of this location and convenience. In the past, we've always stayed at hotels and there has always been something lacking. It's either the room location, lack of kitchen & other space on long stays, crowds, high prices (including resort fees) - none of which applies to this condo. The Pu'u Poa condos are in the Princeville resort. The St. Regis is literally right across a small blacktop road from the condos. Golfers will love the Princeville courses - they are outstanding! The unit was very spacious and comfortably furnished. While there is an inflatable bed, our daughter found the sofa very comfortable. When the pillows are removed, it is the size of a twin bed. The kitchen had every appliance we needed, including a great coffee maker. A quick trip to Foodland just up the road, and we were stocked up for the week. The convenience and savings of being able to enjoy breakfast and lunch in the condo, or pack a picnic, just added to the enjoyment of the trip. The views are incredible. Every morning, we would wake up to sounds of the waves and the first sight being the beautiful Pacific and the reef just over the cliff. The lanai allows you to enjoy the setting outdoors, although even when inside, you feel as if you are out. Hideaways Beach is your own. The trail starts just outside the entrance to this unit, and while steep, is less than a 10 minute "walk". Not to worry, we saw young and old making the trek, some with chairs and small coolers. The beach is very small, but was never crowded, probably because there is very little public parking and access isn't the easiest. The snorkeling here was great! Queen's Bath is very close, as is Hanalei Bay. We really enjoyed Hanalei Bay, as it has a sandy beach with nice waves for body surfing. There were plenty of real surfers there, too. :-) Tunnels Beach and Ke'e Beach are less than 30 minutes away. The entrance to the trail for the Napali coast hike is at Ke'e Beach. There were several good restaurants nearby, our favorite being Nanea in the Princeville Westin. We liked it better than the St. Regis, including the Sunday brunch. Kudos to the owners! Very responsive, helpful and easy to work with!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

I spent tons of time looking for the perfect location and perfect condo complex. I am very picky and use HomeAway/VRBO all the time. Landed on this complex and then landed on this unit. Little did I know I would also find the perfect owners. Want luxury? We walked into this place is found it. Awesome Kitchen. Great views of the ocean. the Pictures are accurate. What more luxury? You are steps away from the St. Regis if you want to be pampered with great meals, massages and umbrella drinks. Want to just chill? You can stay put and have a great time. Cook in a well equipped kitchen and have fresh fish from the market, or go out and sit under the umbrella on the deck and cook on the grill. Want to snorkel? Walk down to the secret beach, be warned it is not easy to get to, thus the reason there are fewer people. The snorkeling on this beach was the best we found on the northern part of the island, with quite a few turtles on the beach and swimming around the rocks/reef.. Want to explore? You are 5 minutes away from the Queens bath. Super cool for lava formation and pictures. Want to stop looking on VRBO/Home Away and plan the rest of the vacation? You have arrived. (one note if you are thinking about taking the boat ride to see the napali coast, it is not a lazy ride. At least 25% of the whole boat got sea sick, VERY ROUGH. I wish we would have done the helicopter ride)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Hi Danny & Linda - We got back last night and wanted to thank you again for letting us use your spectacular place. It is hard to imagine a better view anywhere on earth - we loved watching the ocean and listening to the waves. We got a couple of very calm days when we were able to snorkel from the beach just below the condo - some amazing fish. It was so clear we could see the reef from the living room. Other days when the surf was big we watched the surfers. We really liked the location of your place just steps away from the St Regis - what a great bar with some wonderful jazz on many evenings. I went to yoga at Yoga Hanalei most mornings and it only took about 10 minutes to get there. You have a beautiful place - comfortable, well-equipped, nice bed - we would stay there again in a heartbeat! Hope you get to go enjoy it yourselves soon - Thanks againRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Lush green mountains with thundering waterfalls, pristine white sand beaches, crystal clear water teeming with tropical fish, spectacular sea cliffs, charming villages with local arts and crafts. How can you put into words the feeling you get sitting on your private lanai watching the magestic humpback whales teach their young to breach or witnessing pods of dolphins spinning and splashing through the crystal clear waters of Kaua'i?
