Hi Danny & Linda - We got back last night and wanted to thank you again for letting us use your spectacular place. It is hard to imagine a better view anywhere on earth - we loved watching the ocean and listening to the waves. We got a couple of very calm days when we were able to snorkel from the beach just below the condo - some amazing fish. It was so clear we could see the reef from the living room. Other days when the surf was big we watched the surfers. We really liked the location of your place just steps away from the St Regis - what a great bar with some wonderful jazz on many evenings. I went to yoga at Yoga Hanalei most mornings and it only took about 10 minutes to get there. You have a beautiful place - comfortable, well-equipped, nice bed - we would stay there again in a heartbeat! Hope you get to go enjoy it yourselves soon - Thanks again

Kauai Dreamer is a true gem!

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay 7 nights in this beautiful condo. It was very spacious with views of the ocean from almost everywhere. The master bed is situated so you can wake up and fall asleep to views of the ocean (and it is incredibly comfortable)! We were there in January, so we saw a ton of whales while sitting on the lanai. Also, on the beach that is just below the property, we were lucky enough to hang out with a monk seal that just happened to be taking a snooze on the beach at the same time! The condo is also just a short drive from Hanalei, which we really enjoyed, and the area around Princeville couldn't be more beautiful. The complex itself is very well maintained and quiet (much quieter than the Marriott in Lihue where we spent the last 3 nights of our stay because the Kauai Dreamer wasn't available for our entire trip). We are definitely looking forward to staying at the Kauai Dreamer again and would highly recommend it to anyone!!

I spent tons of time looking for the perfect location and perfect condo complex. I am very picky and use HomeAway/VRBO all the time. Landed on this complex and then landed on this unit. Little did I know I would also find the perfect owners. Want luxury? We walked into this place is found it. Awesome Kitchen. Great views of the ocean. the Pictures are accurate. What more luxury?You are steps away from the St. Regis if you want to be pampered with great meals, massages and umbrella drinks. Want to just chill? You can stay put and have a great time. Cook in a well equipped kitchen and have fresh fish from the market, or go out and sit under the umbrella on the deck and cook on the grill. Want to snorkel? Walk down to the secret beach, be warned it is not easy to get to, thus the reason there are fewer people. The snorkeling on this beach was the best we found on the northern part of the island, with quite a few turtles on the beach and swimming around the rocks/reef.. Want to explore? You are 5 minutes away from the Queens bath. Super cool for lava formation and pictures. Want to stop looking on VRBO/Home Away and plan the rest of the vacation? You have arrived. (one note if you are thinking about taking the boat ride to see the napali coast, it is not a lazy ride. At least 25% of the whole boat got sea sick, VERY ROUGH. I wish we would have done the helicopter ride)

We had an absolutely fabulous vacation !! The listing description did not even do the property and location justice. It far exceeded our expectations. We found the condo a wonderful place to come home to after a day of snorkeling, hiking, swimming and boating (where we were surrounded by dolphins). When relaxing, we enjoyed all the amenities the condo had to offer: a great kitchen, a grill on the lanai, a telescope to stare at the stars and a view beyond compare. We will be going back !

From the moment we arrived, we loved the condo. Our vacation consisted of R&R time, exploring Kauai, photographing amazing sights, and enjoying the company of my sister and brother-in-law. The condo was our retreat. To sit back and relax with the sounds of the ocean waves from this home was an amazing experience. I cannot adequately express in words how much we have enjoyed this condo. All four of us have mentioned many times how happy we are with the choice. Oh, did I mention the tropical breezes and the wonderful way they flow through the condo! I should also mention that Linda and Danny made it so easy. They know how to manage the condo rental. From initial contact to departure, it went as smooth as silk. We stayed here over our anniversary in July 09 and absolutely loved it. The condo was in excellent condition. The pictures don't really do it justice. We liked it enough to recommend it to a fried and constantly think about going back but bringing the kids. Maybe in '14 but hopefully sooner! Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern (17 und 15 Jahre alt) 5 Tage in diesem Apartment verbracht und jeden Augenblick genossen. Die Vermieter Linda und Danny sind außerordentlich nett, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend - unser Scheck brauchte z.B. ewig, bis er in den USA eintraf und trotz anderer Anfragen für diesen Zeitraum haben sie sich auf unser Wort verlassen und unsere Reservierung aufrecht erhalten. Sie schickten uns auf Anfrage Vorschläge für Helicopter-/Raftingtouren per Email und anworteten auf alle unsere Fragen im Vorfeld. Das Apartment ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig möbliert, sehr gepflegt und makellos sauber. Die Ausstattung ist wie beschrieben - es fehlt an nichts, sogar hawaiianische Musik gibt es zum Sundowner auf dem Lanai!.Und der Sonnenschirm hat kleine Lämpchen für romatische Grillabende! Die Aussicht vom Lanai ist wunderschön (wir haben auch regen Gebrauch vom Binocular und dem Fernglas gemacht und regelmäßig Schildkröten gesehen), der Hideaways Strand ein Juwel und die nahegelege Hanalei Bay einer der schönsten Plätze, an denen ich jemals war - als Tipp: früh aufstehen, am langen Strand spazieren gehen und Kaua'i beim Erwachen zusehen). Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft wählen, wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Kaua'i reisen und können sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

First let me just say, WOW!! The unit and the views are stunning. From start to finish Dan & Linda were wonderful to work with. The condo was spotless and probably the nicest place we've ever stayed. We arrived late at night and the minute we opened the door we knew we had made the right choice! What a wonderful condo. We had a long overdue week of adventure and relaxation in your beautiful home. We loved it so much we looked at quite a few others that are for sale and not one of them compared to what you guys did with yours. Waking up each morning to the sounds of the ocean and just having to lift your head to see it was magical. The best part of every day was coming home after a day of sightseeing to grill fish on the lanai and have a mai tai while watching the sunset. The views are unbeatable and we felt like royalty! This was a great place to spend our vacation. We have stayed at three properties in the Princeville area now and have not been disappointed with any of them but this property by far has the best views. We found ourselves spending more time than usual at the condo rather than exploring because of the location. Of course the work we brought with also kept us inside more than usual, but having the ocean in the background sure makes even work more enjoyable. Sleeping with the ocean sounds is soothing. We could watch surfers and dolphins each morning, but no whale sightings yet. The beach below is one of our favorite beaches; you can usually always find turtles and eels while snorkeling.

By Far The Best!

Hi there Linda & Danny! We were just looking through the photos from our trip and talking about how beautiful "our home" was. When we first pulled up to the Pu'u Poa parking area, my husband Mark went up to the condo first to make sure we weren't too early (turns out we weren't) and to unlock the door. He came back to the car with the biggest smile on his face and said "wait until you see this place!". We walked through the door and our jaws all dropped. Linda--the whole setting is absolutely stunning. I can't remember if I'd mentioned to you in our earlier correspondence that we were bringing Mark's mom from England to Kauai for her birthday. You should have seen the look on her face when she stepped inside! We're certain that we had the most wonderful trip possible because of your place. Since we had our 6 month old baby with us it was pretty hard to drive around or do a lot of activities/hiking/beach-time so we ended up spending a lot of time at the condo. So, because the condo is so fabulous - with it's HUGE lanai (I hope I spelled that right), INCREDIBLE views that make you feel like you're right at the beach, and wonderfully open feel we were more than content to stay put. We were also thrilled that Hideaways Beach was right below us so my husband and I could go down there any time. A huge: Thank you - thank you - thank you! We hope to be back some day! Beautiful setting, clean condo

We really enjoyed this condo - great location and excellent amenities. The photos are very accurate; tremendous ocean view, very clean and convenient. The tennis courts and pool are a nice bonus and the path down to the beach is much easier than some of the other paths on the island -- and well worth the hike (our 5 year old could do it). Snorkeling from the beach (which is very secluded) was excellent. Access to Princeville Resort (for breakfast) was very easy. We would definitely stay here again and we'd recommend it to others.
