THE PRIVATE POOL AND SPA:
The private heated pool AND SPA!!! House features the only elevated full size fiberglass pool and oversize spa on the island. Our other houses feature our signature 8-by-15-foot heated pools, but this one has a full size 11X28' pool (4 feet deep). Spa is 7x10. It's huge ! just completed the beginning of March. We Have among the Only Private Pools on the Island.Houses Book Quickly.Pools Are Pre-Set @ 90 Deg for oct thru April. 85 Degrees in May.(summer thru sept is self heated) Spa is on the same heating schedule, however has a sepatate booster heater controlled by a 15 min timer. (PLEASE NOTE THAT CONDITIONS MAY CAUSE POOL TO BE HOTTER OR COLDER THAN SETTINGS)




HOUSE FEATURES:
huge family room with 20-foot soaring ceilings (large entertainment center with 50 inch HD plasma and video games), huge dining room with eight-foot mahogany table (seating for ten), huge kitchen with island and additional breakfast nook with seating for six, large billiard room with wet bar, pub table, hoops game and 15-foot ceilings, two large downstairs bedrooms with sound and gulf views (queen and bunks in one, king and queen in other). Jack and Jill bath; 15-foot ceiling in gulf side bedroom, master suite is over 1000 square feet and features luxury formal furnishings, fireplace, LCD flat panel TV and huge luxury bath with jetted tub, enormous walk in closet, two French doors to upper tiled balcony and the most awesome panoramic water views. Upstairs also features another large bedroom, en-suite with French doors to balcony (two queen beds).




THE BEACH:
*IMPORTANT NOTE: GREAT BEACH FOR KIDS! AWESOME SOUND & GULF VIEWS! House is waterfront on sandy north beach of the Mississippi Sound. Island is only a few hundred yards wide at the west end & is surrounded by an actual sand beach on both sides(gulf on south side & sound on north).Enjoy the best of both worlds. Backyard/beach is also private on this side of island.just a 1 minute walk to gulf beach w/deeded access. Located on a multi acre, 750-foot-deep lot. It is directly across the street from our Shell Ct. property. A lot of people prefer this side of the island w/its white sand beach, clear, calm, & shallow water;it is ideal for swimming or lounging on a raft.Great beach for young children w/o the worries of large waves or currents.You could also,at your discretion,set up your umbrella & chairs and not be required to haul inside every night(this beach is your private property).You could also beach a small boat or waverunner in your back yard!




ISLAND INFORMATION:
Dauphin Island is very laid back & non-commercialized, but has shops, a grocery store, bakery,& several restaurants ranging from pizza, ice cream and burgers, to great seafood and steaks. ISLAND IS EASILY ACCESSIBLE BY BRIDGE. Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan is only a few miles away & is accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip).
For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, play a round of golf at the Isle Dauphine gulf-front course, view birds and wildlife & explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach or at the long gulf-front fishing pier, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or JUST PLAIN RELAX!
GOOD NEWS!The protective "berm"(dune)is done.Please note: The town has put up walkovers,so you will have close beach access.No disc or cancellations will be given for any issues relating to the berm.
