The location is great. The house was clean and spacious. The house is conveniently located just off Rt 1 and only a 3 minute walk to the beach. One thing I especially liked about the house was that it has 2 living rooms. Since we had a larger group (7 peolpe), we used one as our TV watching room and the other for hanging out, talking and playing games. The beach is beautiful. It's a long flat beach with soft fine sand, uncrowded and clean. We have 2 kids and they wanted to stay "home" everyday and go to "our" beach". I loved going for morning runs on the beach. The nearest grocery store (Spencers) is 0.5 mile away. Spencers hosts a Farmers Market on Thursday afternoons. My husband drove to Montana de Oro State Park most days to mountain bike. We also went there to hike and play at the beach. The house is also conveniently located for many road bike rides. I was pleased with all the bike lanes in and around Morrow Bay. We found lots to see and do in the area. I would recommend this property to friends/family. Gayle was very easy to work with and responded promptly to my questions.

We stayed here the weekend with 4 adults and 4 children. The house is roomy, clean and supplied with everything you need. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the beach. The Morro Bay area is beautiful. We would recommend this house to friends!
Owner response:Our home is very comfortable for eight people or less. We have tried to think of everything to delight our guests and make their stay easy and enjoyable. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Excellent, Relaxing, Comfortable & Clean Home in a great location! The owner's are very accommodating and a pleasure to book with. The home has everything you need to be comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked. Enjoyed relaxing in the backyard to have morning coffee and BBQ in the evening. The lovely short walk to the beach was a bonus!! We will definitely stay at this comfortable home again!

We had a wonderful family week at this house. The accommodations were spacious, clean, quiet & comfortable for five adults & a 20 month old grandson. We would definitely rent this beach house again. The beach was close by & very much private. We spent time at nearby Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, & Cambria. Grandson acted like he was at home & loved the stay. We highly recommend this beach house for a stay in MORRO BAY.

What a perfect place for a family vacation with two boys, ages 8 and 6. The beach is only a short, two block walk down a quiet street. Plenty of sand dollars and shells to be found while beachcombing. The surf is not the best for swimming, but we drove just four miles up the road to Cayucos State Beach for boogie boarding and laying in the sun. A nice local grocery store is just a few blocks away, and a major chain store (with a Starbucks inside) is just a 5 minute drive. Plenty of activities to keep the boys entertained, like feeding the sea lions at the aquarium on the Embarcadero. They seemed to be extra happy, though, with the TV in their bedroom. The house is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and allowed us to cook our own meals, saving substantially over eating at restaurants. Used the gas grill on the patio two nights for steaks and hamburgers. This is a fantastic house and location for a beach vacaction, and we will definitely be staying there again.

What a wonderful home! My 5 sisters and Mother have a yearly "sisters weekend" and found this large but cozy home ideal (The layout was very easy for my Mom to maneuver her walker). What a beautiful location and so accessible to the beach and park. We walked, talked, laughed and just had a good time. We enjoyed the house so much we never ventured out for meals. We sat outside with our wine and nibbles to enjoy the company and ambiance. Tamara, it was everything and more that you described. Thank so much for allowing us to stay in your home!! We will definitely be back.

My family stayed at this wonderful house for a week and had a great time. We have a toddler and the location to a park/walks down to the beach were perfect. I would definitely stay in this home again and again.

We had a really nice stay at this property in Morro Bay over Labor Day Weekend (8/29/08 - 9/1/08). It was a wonderful halfway point for us in Southern California to meet up with our extended family coming down from the Bay Area. The house was clean & quiet, and suited all our needs for 6 adults, 2 children, and 1 young infant. The owner is super-sweet and informative which made the whole experience that much more enjoyable.

We stayed from 7/19 to 7/26 and like the people who rented this home the week before us we did not want to go home either! The weather was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the ocean. The house was plenty big for my husband and my and our 3 daughters who live at home still and my oldest daughter, her husband and kids. And the owners are wonderful and easy to work with. Thanks for making our vacation so relaxing and worry free.

We rented this house from 7/12 to 7/19/08. What a fantastic vacation rental! Plenty of room for 7-8 people - very comfortable. Every convenience and then some. My husband, daughter, her husband and two kids plus another son and friend stayed quite comfortably. Close to Hwy 1 - just a few minutes walk from the beach - great location. We spent many hours on the beach with the 4 year old - who relished her first up close and personal experience with the ocean. No one wanted to come home when our time was up - we had such a great time. Owner is super nice and very helpful. Highly recommended - guaranteed to be a rewarding experience from beginning to end.

My parents, my husband and my 4 children and I stayed in Morro Bay over memorial day weekend. The house was in a SUPER location to the beach. Each morning and night we walked to the beach, built sand castles and walked along the ocean. The house was very clean and well cared for. We had a great time!

My parents and my family met in Morro Bay for President's Day weekend and we really enjoyed ourselves! Your home is very comfortable and my kids loved the fact that there were 4 tv's! We were able to walk to the beach and marvel at Morro Rock. Thank you again for your hospitality!

Thanks, Tamara, for the use of your beautiful home. We, too, enjoyed daily walks to the beach, and the guestbook packed with information. The furnishings are comfortable and attractive. Three things I will bring with me next time (and there will be a next time) are wooden spoons, a pizza cutter and an afghan or light blanket, because it was a little cool, but we didn't want to turn the heater on. We have stayed in several houses in this area and we all agree that yours is the best. Thanks, again!

My wife and our 4 kids had a very comfortable experience in this home. The home is laid out very well and it's excellent location allowed us to explore from San Luis Obispo to San Simeon very easily. Also, the short walk to the beach was great. Everything that you would need to feel at home is already there. Tamara's communication was friendly and easy. If you choose to stay at this home, I don't think you will be disappointed.

It was lovely to see another part of California with our family, we really liked Morrow Bay and would definately go back, the people were so friendly and laidback. There was plenty of room in the house for our family, the beds were very comfortable and the furnishings nice and clean. The beach, which was beautiful, was just a short walk away with lots of nature walks and my young granddaughter enjoyed the toddler park only 5 minutes walk away. The barbecue was great but as we like to sit outside when abroad our only disappointment was that the outside furnishings needed to be update.
Owner response:Thank you, Lorraine, we appreciate your suggestion as we continue to try and provide our guests with a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. We're glad you enjoyed your vacation here in Morro Bay.

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. We met our grand kids there from So. California and it was so much better than renting hotel rooms. The house is in wonderful condition, an easy walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood and all the neccesities were provided. It was like being at home. The owner was very nice to work with and made the rental process easy and enjoyable. We definitely would ask for this property again.

We really enjoyed staying at your rental. It was very clean and comfortable. All enjoyed the stay and we are really interested in staying again sometime. I have to say that I usually provide feedback on things that could make the rental better. In the case of your rental, everything was perfect. I only wish we could have stayed longer. :)

The quiet neighborhood, excellent location and proximity to the beach made for a wonderful New Year's celebration. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. What a gem of a rental! We were 2 families (4 adults and 3 kids) and we found the house to be amazingly comfortable, spacious...yet cozy. The place was so clean. The beds were so comfortable. The location was very close to the beach and we enjoyed many walks in the mornings and evenings. Both families really enjoyed this place and we would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great home base in Morro Bay for any vacation. BTW- the owners are fabulous, too. They were readily available when we needed their help with a couple of things. Can't wait to return!

What a wonderful place to spend with our family for Thanksgiving! The house is very clean. The beds and couches are very comfortable! Lots of towels. The best part was walking to the beach every night to watch the sunset and to allow the kids to be beachcombers collecting sand dollars, clam shells, and muscle shells. We appreciated the "Guestbook" with plenty of suggestions for things to do and menus from many of the local restaurants. Very nice BBQ which we used to keep our turkey warm while we cooked our side dishes. And the owners are wonderful!

My rating for this home is Excellent! Our family (which includes old folks and young folks) fit perfectly into this house, including our guests who visited. The family room is removed from the living room, which made the adults (and the children) happy. The location is great, it’s out of the Morro Bay tourist traffic and is just a few blocks from an interesting beach area North of Morro Bay proper. We appreciated that the house was immaculately maintained and well furnished, but not over-decorated so we had plenty of space for our things. The king and queen beds were wonderfully comfortable with fine quality linens and towels. We have stayed in many rentals in the area and this is definitely on the top of our list for a return visit.
