Owner's Profile
Why the Owner Chose River Run, Buffalo Lodge
Keystone is located in Summit County by far one of the best locations in the world to ski. With Keystone as your starting point Breckenridge, A-Basin, Copper Mountain, Vail and Beaver Creek are only a short drive away. We especially like Keystone because it is a little bit off the beaten path. This makes our place seem more intimate. But the resort has something for everyone in addition to the snow. Golf, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, sailing on a nearby lake, fine dining and quiet relaxation make this resort well rounded.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
I like the fact that you can come and not ever drive your car while you are here. This condo is located in the core of Keystone's River Run village. There are good places to eat and shop all within walking distance.
Keystone Neighbourhood Company is always booking festivals for your entertainment. KNC is our master HOA and takes care of many activities for your comfort and pleasure. Visit their web site by searching for Keystone Neighbourhood Company to see how they improve Keystone.
Transportation to other resorts is made easy with the Summit Stage bus system covering all of Summit county. Keystone also has a second bus to take people all over the resort. Both buses are free for all guests of the mountain.
During the winter I like the variety of terrain at Keystone. There really is something for everyone. Keystone offers guided snowcat tours & hiking access to expert terrain in Independence Bowl. If you don't want to ride the snow then take a ride to the top on the cats and see it all in complete comfort and safety.
Then there is the A 51 terrain park for those that want to jump and twist in the air. A 51 is on the west side of Dercum mountain with quite a bit of space for everyone to get all the jump out of their system.
North Peak and the Outback are also wonderful places to enjoy good quality snow and on a powder day are so much fun. Here are some mountain facts: 3,148 acres, 3,128 vertical feet, 121 trails, 20 lifts, 2 gondolas with direct access to River Run Village, 1 express six-pack and 5 high-speed quads, night skiing, tree skiing, A51 Terrain Park, Alpine bowl skiing.
So there you have it. I could say so much more. But I would not spoil the true pleasure of this mountain. Come and see for yourself. We did and never left.
But if you dare, let me know how you like Timberwolf, Badger and Bushwacker trails. They are on the Outback's north facing side. That is where I will be with a smile across my face :)
