We have just returned from two wonderful weeks at Tres Belle. The only complaint that I have is that we had to return home. The villa is bright and cheerful. Very clean. LOTS of good towels. On site staff (Lillian & Olive) were wonderful, very accomodating and full of helpful hints and good cheer. The location is wonderful - close to everything and yet actually it's quite tucked away and private. During our visit the pool was being repaired - we hardly missed it. We were in the ocean everyday, just a quick few steps down the ladder and there you go. We didn't even connect our cell phones. There is a phone in the house for local calls. We kept up with home via our laptop (thanks to the connection in the house) I would suggest this house to everyone I know looking for a really peaceful and refreshing vacation (or maybe not - let's keep it a secret 8-). One last thing.. I had been having a problem with my knee, the villa is on one level and is very easy to manuever around. No problem with steps or difficult walks up hills to the parking area. It's great, bring sunscreen and have a fabulous vacation! Watch out for the speed bumps in the roads.

This villa offers almost every convenience that you’d want in a rental. The owners obviously spend time here and have created a truly pleasant experience. Whether you want to stay in the shade, fun in the sun, or lounge inside with your favorite movies this villa will meet your needs. The shaded deck with padded deck chairs, lounges, and outside dining table are comfortable and the view and sounds of the bay are simply beautiful. It’s 40 steps to a clean pool and wonderfully maintained area for tanning and lounging. Despite the rocky coast the villa does have access for ocean swimming right next to the pool. Beach access is a bit of a walk down the street but it is accessible if you need sand. Bedrooms are comfortable, particularly the master bedroom that overlooks the deck and the ocean. Beds are large and restful, furniture is new and the bathroom facilities are clean and updated. The kitchen is very well stocked and had every plate, pot, and dish that we needed during our stay. The living room area has new, comfortable furniture and all chairs recline! The extras in this villa are an unusual, nice addition; flat screen TVs in all rooms, bluray DVD player, Bose iPod speaker system, and secure WIFI accessible from all rooms are all uncommon for a rental. There’s even a nice supply of family friendly DVDs and several books. There’s a grill and laundry facilities for your use as well. In all, this villa exceeded all of our expectations. These owners understand customer service and have invested in all the right areas to create an enjoyable, restful vacation environment. Lastly, the Kearns provide you with detailed, local information about restaurants, sites, and directions around the island. After all of my online reading I found their information to be the most helpful and accurate. We printed their info and simply carried it with us in the car and enjoyed all of their recommendations. A word about driving; to experience the island you need a rental car. Invest in a medium size car or small SUV to get a better suspension. The roads in Simpson Bay are simply terrible and you’ll appreciate better shocks and springs. Local drivers are generally patient with tourist drivers and the roads improve greatly outside of the Simpson Bay area. In all, this rental experience was the best we’ve encountered in the Caribbean. When we revisit St. Martin we will be staying here again.

Our Best Vacation Yet!

This was our second time staying at Tres Belle and it was better than the first! The living room furniture was upgraded since our last visit and was (dare I say) more comfortable that our furniture at home! The new flat screen TV's in the living room and bedroom were great. We appreciated the extensive DVD collection and the blu ray player that was added (my husband appreciated the premium cable channels!). I spent most of my days on the deck using the new cushioned lounge chairs. The villa is so close to the pool that I would walk down the stairs and into the pool if I got warm or just wanted a quick swim. We also enjoyed the binoculars that were included...we would watch planes land at the airport or watch the cruise ships as they passed by. Your villa has to be the best location in Coral Shores, close to the pool, close to the ocean, private, and with amazing views! Thanks for letting us stay there again...we're already planning our trip back next year! P.S. Thanks for your recommendation on trying the Etna Ice Cream...we managed to eat an entire container during our stay! The chocolate was the best!

Hello Bob and Pam, We had a lovely time at your villa in St. Maarten. The pictures were so accurate. Your information was very helpful and Mark’s Place had the best ribs on the island. We ate there twice. The weather was good, very few showers, however, it was hot as to be expected during this time of the year. The only disappointment was the French pastries I purchased at the market down the hill (I missed the bakery shop across the street) the signage is not the best and can be easily missed, which is what I did. The apple turnovers were filled with applesauce! I had to throw them out. The island is a beautiful one! It reminds me of maui, the water is sooo beautiful. It’s a treasure and I certainly see why it’s your home away from home. If we didn’t love to travel and explore so much, this is second to Hawaii. Again, it was a pleasure to stay at your well equipped villa. Greg, Linda & Josh

What a wonderful vacation! The villa was exactly as described and then some...it was very clean, tastefully appointed, and had the best ocean views! One of my favorite activities was watching the cruise ships come in and out of port each day. We spent many days by the pool, which is just a few steps from the deck. The pool area was well maintained as we saw the pool cleaned and the gardens landscaped daily. Each evening we would drive a few short minutes to town to find a place to eat. All the restaurants served amazing food and the staff was friendly....our favorite was Toppers by the Sea. The portions at most restaurants are large enough to have leftovers to take with you. We would keep the leftovers in the fridge and reheat for lunch the next day. The wireless high speed internet was great, I could take my laptop out on the deck and check email while watching boats pass by. Some other things we enjoyed about the villa: the washer and dryer, the tons of beach towels provided, the pool and beach toys, the dedicated parking space for the car, the cable tv's in the living room and bedroom, and all the little details that made it feel like home (the books to read, blow-dryer in the bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, etc). Thank you for sharing your little slice of paradise with us! Our only complaint...we had to come home! We’re counting down the days until our return to Tres Belle.
