Externally the property boasts a secure walled garden, the ideal spot to relax and make use of the barbecue.</p> <p>Sea Pinks Cottage nestles at the bottom of a steep hill in the historic area that is Mallams on the Isle of Portland. Within walking distance you will find a selection of shops, pubs, cafes and takeaways. Be sure to take a walk around Portland Marina, this location offers some of the finest small boat sailing waters in Northern Europe. This location is the official venue for the Olympic sailing events in 2012. Portland also boasts Chesil Beach- an impressive 18 mile long shingle beach.<br /><br />For a greater selection of amenities and attractions, the traditional seaside town of Weymouth can be reached within a 15 minute drive. Weymouth boasts a large expanse of golden sand, complete with Punch and Judy show and donkey rides in the summer.
