This beautifull house offers high vaulted ceilings with paddle fans, an over-sized covered terrace overlooking the water and a wrap around balcony through out the entire house. Three bedrooms with queen size beds sleep six comfortably. Additionally, two sleeper sofa beds accommodates up to four more. The dining room accommodates 8-10 comfortably. The open floor plan provides an ideal setting for family members gathering and sharing meals and good times.
The home is located a short 5 minute walk from beautiful Sombrero Beach with it's breathtaking sunsets and all year round tropical warm waters, and white sands. The home offers an ideal spot for fishing, snorkeling/diving, boating or just relaxing, barbecuing and fishing right from your dock. Pristine and colorfull Sombrero Reef is only four miles off shore and easily accessable by boat. Bring yours or rent from many rental facilities right in town. Cinemas, shopping, museums and nature walks are all within reach right here...in Marathon.
A five minute drive to the famous 7-Mile Bridge and Bahia Honda State Park and it's beautifull beaches. And for a break from paradise, exciting Key West is only a short 45 minute drive.

We loved the place which had a great location in Marathon. We have stayed in a house on Big Pine Key for the last 15 years and this house has much better access to the grocery stores, shops and restaruants that you need while on vacation. The house was very clean and had everything we could have wanted. We had a crew of 8 and all had plenty of room with the sofa beds. Now if the wind had cooperated a little more it would have been absolutely perfect. Since we didn’t get out on the water as much as we wanted, we really enjoyed having a great place for us to gather. We had other family and friends who rented a house down the street and our house had all the room we needed to get together for some adult beverages in the evening. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us. We are trying to plan dates for next year as I write this, hope to stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Mr. and Mrs. Amor's home is absolutely gorgeous. It was very spacious and extremely accomodating. Everything was very well placed and it was a short walk to the beach. On a quiet street and on a beautiful canal. I cannot say enough about this house, great experience. Best house in Marathon by far. Thanks again!Did you find this review helpful? We just returned from a 7 day stay at Casa Cayo and it was fantastic. The house was set up real well and was very clean when we arrived. It has everything you might need. The plus is being able to have the boat at the property and also be able to walk to the beach. By the way, The Island (restaurant) was great and yes the calamari was the best I have ever had! This house is beautiful, we had the most wonderful time in this house. You dont feel like your on vacation,you feel like its your own house. We had our 2 grown girls with us, and there was so much room it was amazing. I cant say enough about this house. I want to go back! Very well decorated, clean, lots of room to move around in. My family stayed here over spring break this year (08) and it was Fabulous. The transaction was seamless. The house was beautiful on a quite street, and just a quick walk from the beach. About the owner: Longtime Florida residents who have always loved and cared for this little piece of paradise called the Florida Keys. All the members of our large family come here and enjoy this wonderful place as often as we and they are able. When the weather 'changes' for us Floridians, we open our home to others in hopes that they too share this experience.
Why the Owner Chose Marathon:
Since the time we were small children and came to this area with our parents for fishing or mini-lobster season, it became a place to always come back to. A place to one day own. And so, we followed that dream and realized it. My wife and I are very lucky to have had the opportunity to do so.
