This stunning waterfront condo is blessed with the absolute best location in all of Point Pleasant. With its corner location and its huge wrap-around balcony, the condo provides a spectacular view of 12 other Virgin Islands (7 are U.S. and 5 are British). Each seems more beautiful than the next (and only 4 are inhabited). See list below*

Simply stated, this unique and spacious 1BR condo delivers the best that Point Pleasant has to offer. The best location, the best view, the best layout, and easily the best ambiance -- all provided in a relaxed, low key and comfortable environment.
Situated at waterside, our superior unit enjoys an ideal corner location on the 3rd floor of a 4-level building (only 2 condos per floor). It's unique location is further enhanced by sliding glass doors that extend the full length of both exterior walls. These glass 'sliders' are seldom closed except in inclement weather, as they open onto large, fully covered patios. The result is an open and airy living space that is dominated by views you will remember for the rest of your life!
A full renovation/restoration of the condo was completed by new owners in 2010, and it is furnished in a tropical Asian style. The decor contributes to a relaxed environment of casual warmth and comfort. Nice as they may be, however, the tropical furnishings go almost unnoticed compared to the incredible views from both the East and North-facing balconies.
The East (Windward) view features the famed North Shore of St. John (seemingly closer than the actual 5 miles over water). Just a fractional turn of the head exposes the spectacular 'down island' view of Tortola and the beautiful British Virgin Islands. Alternatively, the view from our North-facing balcony displays the adjacent Pineapple Beach, with numerous sailboats at anchor in the multi-colored waters of beautiful Water Bay.
The Condo's corner location and wrap-around design will enable you to enjoy ocean breezes that enter on one side of the condo and exit on the other. Elegant, yet comfortable, outdoor furniture virtually assures that guests will gravitate to the covered patios as their favored living and dining areas.
Beyond their traditional role as cool and sunny lounging areas, these covered patios are an ideal place to experience the breathtaking daily vista of a Caribbean sunrise over water. Further, virtually any clear night will deliver the romantic spectacle of 'moonlight over water'.
Whether “dining out” on the patio, or simply relaxing with a favorite cocktail, the ever-changing panorama of ocean views will not cease to amaze you. With its unique glass enclosed design, its preferred waterside location, it's covered balconies and its distinctive furnishing and layout - it's no surprise that this delightful condo has become the most sought after one-bedroom at Point Pleasant.
The Point Pleasant Resort itself features a full range of amenities and activities, not the least of which is one popular restaurant and its three beautiful pools - each sporting a world class view of its own (one is situated directly below the condo’s East balcony).
Excellent snorkeling is literally steps away at Sugar, Coki and Pineapple beaches, with kayaking, wind surfing, day-sail charters, parasailing and jet skis all less than a five-minute walk away. In addition, Point Pleasant’s own scenic hiking trail weaves throughout the grounds.
Other major attractions in the immediate vicinity are St. Thomas’s renowned Coral World Underwater Marine Park (less than a half mile away), and scenic Magen's Bay - it's the largest beach on the island and is ranked as one of the ten most beautiful in the world (less than 15 minutes away).
* The 11 islands included in the breathtaking view from our East-facing balcony are (from left to right): Thatch Cay, Sandy Cay (BVI), Guana Island (BVI), Tortola (BVI), Grass Cay, Mingo Cay, Great Thatch (BVI), Congo Cay, Lovango, Whistling Cay (BVI), St John and Henley Cay).

It's hard to imagine a better view than the one you get from virtually anywhere in this Virgin Islands condo. The entire north and east walls are floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors. Every morning, I got up, opened the doors to create a light breeze throughout the unit and had breakfast on the lovely patio overlooking the pool, the bay, St John, and Tortuga (BVI).
Jim, the owner, has created a unique ambiance by furnishing the condo with furniture and accessories from Bali and the far east. It's a tranquil and relaxing environment. Fungi's, a restaurant serving traditional West Indian cuisine is steps below, right on the beach area so there's no need to feel pressured to drive to dinner, if you don't want to fix your own. If you do want to dine out there are a number of fine restaurants within a few miles.
It is a bit of a challenge to find this place the first time but it's time well-spent as the seclusion and quiet make it an ideal home base for a Virgin Islands vacation. It is very close to Red Hook and the ferry to St John and far enough from the airport to have little, if any noise. My evenings were spent on the patio reading, watching the birds and boats rocking, and listening to the waves a hundred feet away.
This is a great place, and a bear from the mountains could get used to staying here for a long time!

We spent a lovely week in this condo. Our favorite thing about the unit was the sweeping deck facing an amazing view on two sides of the unit and the sliding glass door “walls” that basically doubled the size of the unit. We loved that we were close enough to the water to listen to the waves all night. Parking was always available right outside the unit. Because the lockable door to the unit is before you reach the deck, the unit feels very secure and you feel totally comfortable leaving the sliding glass doors wide open all the time. We made great use of the beach chairs and snorkeling gear- testing out different beaches every day. And being so close to the town of Red Hook was a huge bonus for being near great restaurants and the ferry to St. John. We’d recommend having a car for this condo. Cara was always ready to answer questions when we had them. All in all- a great week! Char and Paul MasonRecommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

We had spent our honeymoon at Point Pleasant and I wanted to surprise my husband for our 30th anniversary. We loved it the first time and felt the same way this time. I picked this unit as I wanted to be close to the water. We were a short walk to the lower pool and Fungi's. Actually we could see both from our balcony. The view is breathtaking. We were up every morning to watch the sunrise and lounge on the balcony. The pictures on this site show exactly how it looks but really can't capture the full beauty of it. The grounds are not fancy but felt more like home than we would have at, say, the Wyndham next door or some fancy hotel. We spent some time on Sugar Beach and realy enjoyed that even though it was small. We even did some snorkeling there. We hiked around to other areas, saw lots of iguanas and enjoyed the view as well as the plants and trees along the paths. It felt like our personal home. We cooked in a few nights and had breakfast every morning there. The condo was furnished with everything you need. The bathroom and kitchen area are new and very clean. It's probably not the furnishing I would choose, but it was comfortable. We really made good use of the outdoor furniture as it was padded and comfy, not your usual stark patio furniture. We had the glass doors open on both sides and most times there was a nice breeze. I loved the outdoor feeling. We ate at Fungi's our first night there and stopped in several times fo drinks, finishing our last meal there. The bartender/server was so friendly and nice. We were going to eat at Agave one night but ended up going into Red Hook and at at Fish Tails instead. We did walk up there and it is beautiful but not a better view than from our balcony. Cara Jo was very helpful in answering questions and very prompt in answering e-mails. She was very easy to work with. We did take a sail on the Morningstar. We really enjoyed that. We went to a wond snorkeling spot and had a nice lunch. It's very easy to get to Red Hook for a meal or the ferry to St. John. We took our car one day and also took the people ferry one night to watch the sunset. I think our best day was a private charter of a power boat. We went to the BVI's with Sam from Vibe Charters. We ended up snorkeling at St. John and also the caves, had lunch at Peace and Love on Jost and stopped at Soggy Dollar for a drink. He took us wherever we wanted to go and it was nice having a small group of only four of us.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

My wife and I stayed at this condo for four nights in April. The condo was well-appointed and comfortable for two people. The king-size bed was wonderful. The views were spectacular. We loved relaxing on the porch, watching the birds, the boats, and an iguana in a nearby tree. Bernadette took care to stock the fridge with the items that we requested to tide us over for our first evening (we arrived after dark, from Colorado) and first morning. We didn't rent a car, but we found that the local "safari" taxi ($1 per person) was fine (and fun) for getting to Red Hook. We took standard taxis back to Point Pleasant because the safari trip back from Red Hook went all over Red Robin's barn. The price was entirely reasonable. The location was pretty good for our purposes. Agave Terrace was a real hoot...good food, friendly staff, and the invasion of the land crabs took us by surprise. Fungi's hit the spot for a beer (or three or four), a Painkiller and a quick snack. Our only negative comment is that the condo is vastly overfurnished with items that may be attractive, but that get in the way as you try to maneuver around, especially in the living room. It is simply cluttered with too much stuff that can't be of much use to a vacationer. We prefer a more open floor plan. I guess the owner must have moved all the stuff from a much larger place. Also, we couldn't figure out how to use the CD player. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay. It's hard to find a place that is more different from Colorado.Recommended for: Age 55+.

Thank You for your beautiful digs!!!!!! My boyfriend and I stayed at your incredible unit July of O8... I apologize for the delay in expressing my delight and comfort I experienced & my thanks to you! This condo is decorated so beautifully and thoughtfully. I found myself calmed by the smile of a statue the silk of a toss pillow and the amazing cross breeze while relaxing in the 'platform' bed enjoying the ocean and the T.V. simultaneously. Your wonderful island hostess Bernadette keeps the condo sparkling clean. The patio furniture adds a completely serene and peaceful element that no other unit on St Thomas can match...my happy place is your balcony...swinging in the tropical breeze on your hanging chair and snuggling with my love on the huge plush balcony sofa. Every element of your island home from the handcarved furnishings to the specially placed art brings relaxation and serenity. I wanted to experience the entire island it was hard to leave you lush pad. The next time I visit I plan to just chill on your veranda... Zen. I loved it... peacefully swaying in the breeze... island breezes on my skin as I sleep... sounds of the surf along the shore... completely romantic ambiance... I dream of my next visit. Thank you so much!!! Your contribution to the lives and romance of others is a great blessing. In the condo's guest journal we read of a couple who recently stayed; the husband having just returned from the middle east serving in active duty. I hope you realize what a gift of a little piece of heaven you gave them for his homecoming... I can't wait to visit again and think of you often with gratitude. God bless and keep taking care of others!!! It's a gift!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Our stay was from January 23-28, 2008 (Part 2 of 2).In Red Hook, it was a blessing that Marina Market was so conveniently located. We stopped there three times - especially for the fresh fruit and snacks. The East End Italian restaurant was great for lunch and dinner (watch out for the dinner prices). The staff there was friendly. Duffy's Love Shack (located in a parking lot) was fun and lively, with both locals and tourists. Please dance with the old-timer that frequents the bar - he is harmless and is just there to have fun. The Caribbean Bar across the street (up the stairs, on the corner, next to the marina, just in case I got the name wrong) is a sports bar with good food and friendly bartenders.Shopping at Charlotte Amalie (Havensight) is a must-do tourist thing. This is the place to get your obligatory t-shirts, trinkets, rum cakes, and the like. Also, buy yourself some Sheridan's and Cruzan Rum Cream. Check out Jimmy Buffham Tattoos, on the main drag (highway 30), to the left of Hooters and the Tram, up the stairs and in the back. The folks there were professional, very artistic, and the equipment was sterile (if that is your cup of tea).Going to the top of the tram for sunset and the ships sailing out was an amazing sight. Make time on your trip to do this.On our last day, overlooking the water, we were trying to rationalize not leaving, but our kids made us come back home. We did manage to lollygag around enough to miss our flight. Luckily – or unluckily – there was another flight an hour later. When the ticket counter woman told us that we would not be getting on our flight, ideas swirled around in our heads that we were going to have to “suffer” and stay another night at the condo (twist our arms!). Then they told us about the 2nd flight – very depressing. One more thing… when you rent your car, do NOT go with Thrifty. Thrifty shut down operations with no notice before our flight arrived, and with no alternative means of transportation. The Budget folks were very accommodating, and resolved our situation in a reasonable amount of time. Secondly, get yourself a Jeep. The drive through the mountains is challenging enough (yet very breathtaking) – especially driving on the left side – but some of the hairpin turns… bottom line, you’ll want the Jeep. Finally, we got to meet Bernadette on our last day – a very lovely and kind woman, not to mention funny.Feel free to contact us with any questions regardDid you find this review helpful? Our stay was from January 23-28, 2008 (Part 1 of 2).From the moment we arrived, we were totally impressed with the property. The extra touches from Juliet – engraved champagne glasses, champagne, and balloons for our honeymoon, the fresh fruit (which we had on the patio the first morning), the flower arrangement, etc. We spent every morning on the patio, watching the sunrise, feeling the nice breezes, watching the dolphins in the bay, and the pelicans dive-bombing for their breakfast. We were serenaded every morning - and all the time we were there - by those wacky roosters near the Coki Beach area (not annoying, just comical). The décor of the condo was beautiful; we loved the paintings and the comfy patio furniture, which we used quite a bit. Sleeping with the doors open, listening to the waves, was peaceful and definitely a treat. The bartender at Fungi's was great. Our waiter at Agave's was also good. The security guards at the gate were extremely friendly and helpful with directions and ideas for things to do. They always said 'hello' and asked how our day was on our way in, and to 'enjoy our time' on our way out.One of the sites we visited was Coral World. We did the SeaTrek SNUBA - the divers were extremely patient and helpful. They let us take our time to enjoy the beauty of the marine life below. Also at Coral World were the numerous iguanas, which were really entertaining, especially at feeding time; though they tended to remind me of the raptors on Jurassic Park - the came from all directions to eat. The lorikeets were beautiful; of course, one of them was very protective of its keeper, and divebombed toward my head (no harm) a few times. Being able to touch starfish and other sea life was an added bonus. Our trip to St. John was great. We went to Trunk Bay (where we were engaged 2 years ago) and Cinnamon Bay - both amazing beaches. The pina and banana coladas are the best at both of these beaches. We also got to see mongoose. We would have done more on St. John, but we fell asleep on the beach, and did not want to miss our ferry back. By the way, take the car ferry and explore the island on your own.The highlight of our trip was the New Horizons II tour of the BVIs. The Baths at Virgin Gorda were a sight to see - pictures do not do it justice. As a side note, make sure that you have a dry-pack, as cell phones and salt water do not go well together (the phone died a quick death). We went to Marina Cay for lDid you find this review helpful? We spent a wonderful week at your Pt. Pleasant home. We miss waking up and seeing the boats and the water out of the bedroom, having breakfast on the terrace, spending time reading in the comfy chairs on the terrace, and sipping wine in the rope chair enjoying the breezes and the views! We spent most of our time exploring the island - the location is great! We rented a jeep - you definitely want to have a car. Being so close to the Red Hook ferry we had dinner one night in St. John and then spent another day there sightseing. Had a great dinner at Agave and met the chef. Desmond was a great converstionalist as well as bartender. On the recommendation of a couple I met at the pool we had a fantastic dinner at Banana Tree Grill near Bluebeard's Castle. The view of Charlotte Amalie harbor is wonderful if you go just before sunset. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We hope to return again soon!Did you find this review helpful? Guest comment 2/07: Thank you so very, very much for your hospitality....and Bernadette also. The TV is easy, if you follow the instruction card. Thanks to Bernadette for coming all the way out to us the first night and bringing two dozen CD's for us to play for some entertainment. I used the wireless at the reception area by front desk and found they also have snacks for sale as well. I spoke with other guests, picked up a few tips, and met nice people staying at the resort. There is a wonderful man name of Dan that bartends most nights at Agave's Overlook lounge. A lady named Debbie owns the shop by Fungi's; she can tell you how to go out on "Urge" the little red boat anchored nearby . We had a wonderful time and are already thinking of our next visit. I hope it can be real soon!. We had lots of R & R which we needed. We did just enough to satisfy our curiosities. We tried dinner at the Old Stone Farmhouse and met some nice young people working there. Trips to Magens Bay, the milkshakes are really good on the way; and the beaches on St. John, are two spots we tried. We had some great ribs , bought in the parking lot after we got off the ferry, to take with us. Our favorite activity was to stare at the beautiful view from the condo. Next time we will venture to some other spots too and do a little more snorkeling or a boat trip. David, who works weekends at the activity desk, at the resort, is very helpful and fun to talk to. It was hard to leave when our last day came.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We have been to St Thomas six times this year, and this was our favorite place by far, in fact, we are now considering purchasing a similar unit. Beautiful views, nice furniture (you can tell everything is new; we were the second guests there) and plenty of toys (books, snorkels, masks, coolers, beach chairs, towels, etc) Close to Red Hook for groceries. (Marina Market is our favorite). the ferry to St John and several good restaurants not to mention, a great (but expensive) one on site: Agave Terrace. You can even walk to Coki Beach (our personal favorite), or have a drink onsite at Fungi's ( literally on the water) and take a few steps to Pineapple Beach instead. Rent a car (you will definetly want one) at the airport, and it's a nice 45 minute drive ( there is no fee to park it, and parking is just outside your door) Sprint has good coverage, and its just a local call to the mainland. If we don't buy one soon, we will be back in a month or two.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Why the Owner Chose Point Pleasant:
We're on by far the nicest end of the island, and we also own the smaller unit next door (VRBO #267936). Beyond that, we never cease to be amazed by the combination of spectacular view, morning sun, cooling ocean breezes and the seemingly ideal location of our two condos. In addition, for families or friends traveling together, we are pleased to be able to provide an opportunity for the entire group to be close together in adjoining condos (we even have a door connecting the two patios that is only unlocked for such groups).
