  We are grandparents whose children and grandchildren consider Susie’s Anna Maria home their favorite vacation destination. We have had two families visit us at once. The house is roomy, comfortable and clean. The fourth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and there is a day bed/trundle bed in the living room. It is fully equipped for vacations including a screened lanai and pristine pool. There is a garage with many beach toys included. The fabulous beech is only a few doors away and we are a short walking distance to restaurants, shops, a museum and even a community playhouse. You could spend a week here in paradise without ever getting back in the car. A free trolley runs the length of the island which includes many more attractions including the larger drug stores and grocery store.

  We greatly enjoyed staying at this home -- it has everything you need and is very comfortable. The pool, landscaping and lanai are great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The proximity to the beach is also awesome -- and it's in a nice, quiet residential area also. Susie is very accommodating and works with you to make your stay the best possible. We'll be staying there again very soon for our daughter's wedding!

  I stayed at this home for a week this season. It is absolutely incredible. The owners were very accomodating, the place was just a few steps from the beach, it's convenient to everything.and the rates are very reasonable. What's not to love. I will definitely be back again, hopefullly often!

  We had two families including 6 kids and 4 adults and there was ample space for everyone. The pool was perfect for after the beach and the screened in porch served us very well. We brought a bean bag toss game and the kids played into the night, regardless of those afternoon storms that bring such beautiful skies. The beach was about 4 doors down and was the very best beach any of us had every enjoyed! Sea life, tide pools, not crowded at all - so much so that I am afraid to say too many nice things about it for fear that word will get out! The little town was so great - produce, ice cream, pizza, bike rentals and a great little town museum was all that was needed to round out the super location-we walked to it all (except groceries but that wasn't far at all). The house was perfect for families. It was clean but not fancy so we weren't worried with all those kids. The downstairs bedrooms were small but perfect for sleeping and if you're doing much more than that while staying there, you're missing the whole point..the sunsets, the view, the beach, the walks, the people..this place is amazing. We hope to return many more times. We met the owners while we were there and they were wonderful! They answered all of our questions ahead of time about the property and the area so we could plan appropriately. The photos show the property as it is but can't do justice to the location. Thank you for opening your little paradise to us!

• Another world

  This home in Anna Maria has provided us with another world for several years. We rent for one month and restore needed peace and quiet to our lives, along with a recharge from the sunshine. We live in the Midwest and desperately need a winter break from the cold and snow. The location is wonderful. Only a few houses to the beach front and the ocean waters are a beautiful bluish color. Dolphins, gulls, sand dollars, fish, seahorses, manatees, stingrays and cranes are only a few of the types of wildlife you can see in one day. The swimming pool is a highlight of the home, it is in a beautiful setting in the backyard with lots of privacy and always ready for a quick dip. The lanai is also a great feature for being outside when you've had too much sun, and for eating meals. We highly recommend this location for your vacation.

  The home was clean, comfortable and the location is perfect for beaching. The pool os an extra benefit. We have rented again for this coming January.

  Our family has rented numerous houses on Anna Maria Island for 15+years and this house and owner top it all! The house is equipped with everything and anything you need! It is very clean, with a beautiful pool and the landscaping makes you feel like you are on your own island. The location is perfect and it is everything the owners say it is!

  The pool and the breezeway were used most the time when not at the beach. The breezeway is screened so no bugs and set up so we got a breeze. In the morning when others in our group were still sleeping, some could enjoy coffee and a conversation without bothering them. Just a few houses away from the beautiful beach. Everything was clean and worked well. The pool was kept up and no screen so nice temperature. Very happy. .
