My family and I (husband, daughter (9) and son (12)) stayed here for 5 days. The location is perfect and as described. It is within walking distance of everything. There is a grocery store, a bakery and butcher shop along with many restaurants. The bakery has excellent croissants. It was clean with beautiful vistas of the surrounding mountains. The kitchen is stocked with necessary utensils, pots and pans. The WiFi worked perfectly. There are books in English for children and adults to read. We drove to Veysonnaz but once we were at the chalet there was no need for a car. Skiing for my intermediate skiing family was perfect. There are beginner slopes as well and expert ones. There is a bus that takes you to the gondola. It is very easy to navigate and very family friendly. The owners answered all of our questions and were very helpful. We left some sentimental belongings in their home and they were quick to return them, definitely a benefit with renting by owners. We hope to come again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We are trying hard to create an atmosphere of a home away from home for our guests and are happy when we get feedbacks like that. As avid travelers ourselves we can appreciate to find a vacation place which is a bit more than just a rental.

This is a really wonderful apartment. It is well maintained and has everything that a person could need for a ski holiday, but also has lots of personal touches that makes one feel at home. Veysonnaz is a cute little town with fantastic views and is well connected to the 4 Valles ski area. It is useful having a car as it is a 20 minute drive to Siviez which provides better access to the centre of the ski area and also 20 minutes to Sion if one wants to head out of the mountains for a day.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We are delighted with this review, which gives an accurate picture of the apartment and the surroundings. There is just one small thing we would like to address. It isn't necessary to drive to Siviez to access the "4 Vallées" ski area. It can be done directly from Veysonnaz by taking the Gondola up to Thyon 2000 and from there direction Verbier.

Veysonnaz A most tranquill and scenic area of Switzerland. The apartment gave us breath-taking views of snow capped mountains and easy access to many interesting villages and world famous sights. Our four weeks in June of 2007 were everything we had hoped and planned for.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Hans, it was an incredible and peaceful long weekend in Veysonnaz! Yours is a lovely chalet with all the amenities needed in a brilliant setting of spectacular views and nearby activities - a feeling of home away from home. And one that I will happily recommend and hope to be able to use again. Thanks for working with us on the logistics and planning of our trip and arrival to Veysonnaz; also very helpful. It's a treat to have been there! Take care of your special place. My warmest regards, Chris Stevenson, 8 - 11 March, 2007.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
