Amazing Home on Hood Canal Fjord in Olympic Peninsula
- Minimum stay:2 nights

- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Hood Canal is one of the most picturesque bodies of salt water anywhere in the world. It’s warm, clear swimming beaches, incredible views of the Olympic Mountains, fantastic beachcombing opportunities, and its location makes it a desirable destination for all. Hood Canal is not really a canal at all but rather an amazing fjord that separates most of Puget Sound from the Olympic Peninsula. It's no wonder that waterfront home owners are mostly second, third, or even fourth generation Hood Canal residents. Once you've experienced Hood Canal's magic, it's hard to find a better spot - anywhere!
Your beautiful private get-away retreat is located on one of the warmest beaches on Hood Canal. You will be in awe of the beautiful views. Whether you are taking a family vacation, having a friends weekend, fishing, diving, hiking, or enjoying an intimate romantic get-away, this is the spot for you.
Come and enjoy the large outdoor deck area atop the rock bulkhead. A few steps off of the deck and the beach combing begins. At low tide you can gather up all the oysters and clams you can eat for you dining enjoyment. When you tire of the endless shellfish, grab your fishing pole or crab pots. (Check Washington State Fisheries and Wildlife for rules and regulations for season dates and restrictions).
The Triton Cove Beach Home is near Triton Cove State Park boat ramp. It is also minutes away from several amazing shore dives (Octopus Hole, Triton Cove, etc). Whether you prefer to hike (The Staircase and Dosewallip Trails are a short drive away), fish, clam, go crabbing, shuck oysters or simply soak in the hot tub while gazing at the stars, our quaint beach house offers all of this and so much more. This spot is 17 miles from Lake Cushman and a nine hole golf course and 29 miles from the Alderbrook Golf Course and spa. Arrive at the Triton Cove Hideaway via seaplane from Seattle in just 25 minutes.
The house is light, airy and very peaceful. There are two private bedrooms - both with queen-size beds. An additional room with a TV, games, and books. The room also has a futon for additional sleeping arrangements. There is also a large, comfy sofa that is a pull-out with a queen-size mattress. You can also enjoy a full bathroom with both tub and shower. And there are two additional bathrooms as well. A washer and dryer are also available, for your convenience. The kitchen, is fully furnished with every amenity you could desire. A gas fireplace allows for cozy relaxation and is especially enjoyable on stormy nights. We want you to feel at home.
There is a gas BBQ grill on the Deck where you can cook all of the shellfish you collect or enjoy your fresh catch of the day. The large hot tub, located right outside the master suite, allows the stress you left behind to melt away.
Whether you enjoy the simplicity of nature while watching the sea life surrounding scenic Hood Canal, or prefer an underwater adventure, vacationing on the beach is the life for you. Make your reservations early!

My mom, my two sister's and my sister's partner and I enjoyed a two night stay at this beautiful beach side home. We loved the huge deck that felt like it practically touched the beach. The home is very nicely layed out with everything one needs and plenty of bathrooms. We had a wonderful stay and are already planning an encore.Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a great time - perfect place for a family get together. The kids had a fabulous time playing in the water, catching crabs and looking for seals (once they got over not having wifi!). The adults enjoyed relaxing on the deck and the hot tub.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

This rental far exceeded our expectations we had. Everything was working wonderfully and every ammenitie was there. Hot tub was warm and great for watching stars the one night we had them. The beach access was great for the morning shell hunt and boy did we find some cool ones. The VHS player was fun, I haven't watched a VHS movie in years but it was a lot more fun than I would've imagined. Quite and perfect for a couples getaway or even 2 couples with kids. Thank you for some wonderful memories we won't soon forget.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had an amazing few days here just before the New Year! Rental experience was great- owner was professional, helpful, and had lots of thoughtful touches (guide to area, etc). Loved the (very mellow) local hiking and walks... House was very clean and comfortable, and views and location are fantastic. We are still dreaming about the hot tub. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Our 9 month old started the night in a portable crib in the big walk-in closet in the master bed room which was a great surprise- a bonus baby room!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

So much to do here! We rented Kayaks for the 3 days, hiked up to the beautiful falls, played games and watched the baby birds in their nest from the deck. There were two eagles who sat on a limb close by, deer that wandered through the property, and a seal that followed the kayaks...What a great place!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What an unblievable vacation. This is the most beautiful country. The house sits right on hoods canal with a grogeous view of the canal throughout.. My favorite was watching the sun come up over the canal and the tranquell setting. First time we visted was me and my wife . What a perfect weekend. The last time it was me and the kids. I think they enjoyed it more then me.The waterfall, the halfwayhouse restraunt, and of course the hiking. Do not forget to stop by the Hama Hama store and get icecream. They also had alot of fresh seafood but we did not get a chance to get any. I would highly recommened this as a getaway. The house very clean and well kept.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I have been here a few times and each time is magical. This time the fog hovered over the water all morning, giving it a mystical haunting appeal. It is a perfect place for family fun, conversation, games, and snuggling in front of the fire with a good book. We watched a heron on the rocks as he waited motionless and silently for his "dinner" to arrive, and sure enough, we witnessed him catching and gobbling down his delicacy. The Hamma Hamma Oyster Farm and store has the best ice cream, so we bought a quart of the coconut ice cream to bring back to the house....yummy. The hot tub is the best, the kitchen well stocked, the beds are really comfortable, and the home was spotless. Triton Cove Beach Home is a terrific destination for a memorable vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are lovers of adventure and the outdoors. We love family and think the Triton Cove Beach Home is the perfect place to take time with your family and friends to create memories that will last a lifetime. Our families have enjoyed this home and are so thankful we can share the experience with YOU!
Why the Owner Chose Brinnon:
Hood Canal is a magical place and by sheer chance this home became the memory-making source for our family. We were out in the Hood Canal crabbing several years ago and from the water were day-dreaming about owning a place nearby. We spotted this house from the water and thought to ourselves, that house would be perfect for us. A few weeks later by sheer chance, we got a call from a real estate agent (we are in the mortgage business) who was looking for a home loan for a client that was selling a place on Hood Canal. It just so happens that it was the home we saw while crabbing a few weeks prior. One thing led to another and we became co-owners of the Triton Cove Beach Home. This spot is absolutely magical and has been the source of many great memories. We look forward to hearning about the memories the home has made for you too!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We have spent some quality time at the house, crabbing, hiking, playing board games, and enjoying the hot tub. This is the best of the Olympic Peninsula - right on Hood Canal Fijord and close to many amazing hikes, waterfalls, and outdoor activities. This is the most amazing part of the state and we are passionate about this area.
