Downtown Kerrville Vacation Apartments on Clay Street

STAY IN BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN KERRVILLE and WALK TO ALL IT HAS TO OFFER.

We feature two one bedroom vacation apartments set apart in their own building on a large tree covered property nestled right in the middle of the downtown district. Rentals are available by the week with discounts available for longer stays (four or more weeks). Shorter stays can also be accomodated (3 night minimum)subject to availability. We offer accomodations much larger and more comfortable than a hotel room at comparably less cost per night.

Each unit has been completely re-done inside and out from floor to ceiling. Fully and newly furnished and completely outfitted with everything needed to spend a week or an entire season with us!

The "Pecan Flat" is set at the rear of the building next to a pair of Pecan trees. It has one large private bedroom with king bed and also a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room (sleeps two to four adults). Bathroom with tiled shower and large kitchen complete the layout.

The "Myrtle Flat" occupies the front of the building (a shared laundry room separates the two apartments), next to one of the largest Crape Myrtles around. It has a private bedroom with queen bed (sleeps two total). The living room with loveseat adjoins the kitchen containing a new full-size range/oven, refrigerator/freezer along with microwave and coffemaker on the tile countertop. Bathroom with shower occupies the third room of this unit.

Covered parking is steps from the front door allowing you to park your car and walk down to explore the town. We are one block off the main street (Sidney Baker) on Clay Street and less than five blocks to the Guadalupe River. Nearest fine dining establishment is half a block away (Rails Cafe) with many more within 10 minutes walk. The historic downtown with more shopping and nightlife (Pampells) are also between us and the riverfront. Finally, numerous museums, live theater and the Performing Arts Center round out those destinations you can reach on foot.

  • We had such a great stay! We have 3 kids ages range 12yrs. -2 yrs. and the owners were extremely wonderful. They offered toys for our kids that they had there on site. We were able to take the mini pit to the river and grill hot dogs which the kids could have been more happy. It was a much needed vacation for us. No it wasn't Hawii, or Cancun but it was the absolute perfect thing with our crew. We are planning to go back very soon.

  • Nice place, we rented both apartments and had three adults and two teenagers. There was plenty of room and the fenced in property was nice in downtown area. Lots of privacy and security at night. The owner's were very nice. I will try to stay here again when back in Kerrville which is a beautiful little town. If there was one thing that I would like it would be a nice full sized grill for cooking outdoors on the patio.

  • My husband, three kids and I stayed in the Pecan flat for four nights. We had plenty of space and the amenities were perfect for all of us (full kitchen, large bath, and on site laundry facilities). The proximity to down town is a definate plus. We would definately stay here again.

  • My brother and I rented these two flats for a week + stay. We were both VERY pleased. When I visit Kerrville I usually stay at a place out of town -- some place unique. This is the first time I've been able to find a comfortable, relaxed and PRIVATE place to stay right in the middle of downtown Kerrville. You can literally walk to most any downtown destination Kerrville has to offer from this location, which makes for easy access to everything from a late night snack, to a quick hop to the local cafe or pub for some refreshments or to listen to live music. The owners of this facility were extremely attentive to our needs. Personally, I think they went above and beyond... but they were happy to make us feel welcome. Aside from being right in the heart of downtown, this place is VERY private. It's located on a large piece of property with privacy fencing along the perimeter. At night we didn't hear traffic or other noises you'd normally associate with staying down town. Clean. Friendly. Convenient. Private. And cheaper than most any hotel you'd stay at on vacation. You simply can not beat this place for all it has to offer. I would easily recommend this place to all my friends, and will do my best to book this place again the next time I'm in Kerrville.
