This home offers total relaxation and/or as much activity as you like. It is located within two hours or less of many major points of interest in all directions.
Two row boats rest on the shore ready to venture out into the lake with its many miles of shoreline. There is an open-air gazebo by the lake with barbecue grill ready for cooking. A giant deck off the main floor of the house is a great spot to enjoy the sanctuary of birds flying all around and is all set up for grilling as well. Dine on the deck as you look out over the lake with the mountains in the background.
The lake, part of the TVA electric power system, is drawn down some in the winter months, but leaves enough to enjoy the view, fishing, and boating. Fall and Winter offer cool fresh air, gorgeous views of the changing fall leaves, and occasional snow. The fireplace keeps you plenty cozy on these cool evenings.
The paved driveway will lead you to the entrance at the main level, or into the carport where there is also an entrance. The home can accomodate ten or more occupants comfortably. Horse shoes, badminton, and many other games and toys are on site. There is plenty of outdoor room for children, as well as over 100 feet of lake front for all to enjoy swimming, boating, or fishing. There is a large fenced area for the safety of children and small pets.

Very nice owner next door. Good for water sports. Nice area for pets. Good value for water oriented guests. Not fancy lodging but adequate.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers.

We stayed from Feb 17 2012 until Feb 20 2012..If you are looking for a relaxing place this would be it. When you first turn on to the road the where the house is located, the area or neighborhood is very poor looking but don't let that discourage you. There is not alot to do but enjoy the lake which had unfortunately been drained prior to our stay but you can get to Helen and other towns fairly easily. The house has everything you need but could use some updating. There was a nice fenced in area for the dogs to play. We spent alot of time on the outside deck which is located right off the living room. All in all we had a good time and the owner Ms Boris lives next door and is very nice.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.
