This is a typical wooden New England farmhouse. It is set high up, overlooking 5 acres of meadow and woods, and has a 400 foot shore. The house is airy and bright, and raises the spirits. The tidal cove empties into Penobscot Bay and has excellent fishing, in season. The house is set about 3 miles from and between, the small towns of Stonington or Deer Isle. There is a deck for relaxing on and watching the sunset.
The house is located off the scenic Island route, set back about 300 feet from the water, providing long views of the cove. 2 kayaks are provided with the house as the cove is very safe. Well behaved pets are welcome. |
