Property description

Chalet no.58 is a luxury self catering chalet. The chalet benefits from its “Ski in” status and given its position on the piste, just 100m above the main Gondola station into Savoleyres (main station to access the entire 4 valleys) the more advanced skiers can “Ski out” off piste down to the station. The interiors have been stylishly designed and installed by a UK based designer with a modern/contemporary but homely take on the chalet theme.

The chalet comprises of 5 spacious bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 (10+2 - at extra cost), with the double sofa bed made up. The chalet has 3 double bedrooms , 2 of which are en suite, 1 twin room (which can be made into a double on request) and a children's room, which doubles as a games room, housing games consoles (PS3 - please bring own games), wide screen TV and DVD, it has a bunk and double sofa bed. There is a large family bathroom.

Summer Mountain Biking- La Tzoumaz/Verbier: 4 Vallees Chalets are offering a fantastic range of opportunities for you to enjoy summer in the Alps. The chalets are available to rent all summer and are perfectly set amongst numerous footpaths, excellent mountain bike tracks (VTT - Vélo Toute Terrain) and nature trails. Near by are some renowned golf courses and even glacier skiing! The brand new Télécabine operates July through August and carries bikes for free. During July and August we have put together a fantastic programme for mountain biking, offering maximum flexibility suitable for all abilities.

Summer Holidays: During your week, there are plenty of activities available near by including skiing, paragliding, wine tasting, thermal baths, walking paths and also there are a lot of biking routes.

La Tzoumaz is a little known resort that has been kept secret by the Swiss as the English flock to Verbier. La Tzoumaz lies at a lofty 1500M and benefits from excellent snow records with a season often extending into late April and the last snows. Below the village lie many of the regions good vineyards which make a great tasting break in the summer months.

In the summer of 07 the main lift (300M from chalets) was upgraded and now provides rapid access to the peak immediately above Verbier, making the centre of Verbier accessible within 30 min. by ski from the chalets.

La Tzoumaz village itself is best suited to family holidays and provides a number of good restaurants and bars. A large swimming pool, snow play area and ski nursery are also available in the village. In summer the village hosts a number of mountain biking events and is well suited for walkers or those just seeking to take time out.
