We take pride in making certain that the condo is well maintained for our guests in a manner that we would want if we were renting.
This new (2006) professionally decorated full Two Bedroom unit (1161 sq.ft.) has all the amenities of home including flat screen digital/HD TV in the living room and satellite TV through out, as well as WIFI.
The unit is painted in a 'feel at home' khaki color.
The master bedroom has a large walk in closet, double vanities and bathroom with whirlpool bathtub and separate glass enclosed shower. The second bedroom, decorated with a 'Woody' theme now has twin beds. The entrance to the second bathroom is either from the bedroom or the hallway. The computer room, with desk, is across from the second bedroom, as is the separate walk in laundry room. Access to the large balcony is from both the living room and the master bedroom.
If you are not familiar with the LH, there are some owners on VRBO advertising that they have a two bedroom unit. These are actually one bedroom units with a computer room used as a small sleeping room, without a closet. They are usually advertised as a 'bunk room' or 'bonus room.' Please be aware for size and pricing purposes!
The Lighthouse offers 2 outdoor pools, one zero entry, and one indoor, two hot tubs, sauna and a fully equipped fitness room.
The unit is large and roomy and offers breathtaking views of the Gulf. The Lighthouse is ideally located and is within walking distance to Gulf Shores restaurants and shopping.

We spent six weeks here and wished we could have stayed longer. The unit is very well maintained and very nicely furnished and decorated. We had a great stay here and look forward to a return visit. We chose the Lighthouse because 3 other couples from our home town stay there too. And they all agree that this unit was the nicest of all. And Rick and Marcia are very gracious and friendly hosts. Rick is very helpful and thorough and took good care of us. And of course the unit is located in the heart of Gulf Shores with good, clean beach access. The state park fishing pier is just a short walk away. There are many events in the building for guests from pool exercises to art and craft sales and happy hours. There is plenty of room to swim with the three large pools and two hot tubs and lots of covered parking. They even provide four wheel carts for moving luggage and groceries to the unit. The units are sound-proofed very well with little or no noise heard from adjoining units. So, it was all we hoped for and more! Thank you Rick and Marcia! My husband & I highly recommend this unit. It was very clean and nice...The view is great & location is convenient. We definately would like to stay here again. Thanks Rick for the prompt refund & the last minute reservation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
