In a wonderfully peaceful location, high in the hills on a quiet no through road, 3 miles from the village, this 200-year old stable building has been beautifully converted to offer the ultimate holiday home. Completed to an exceptionally high standard to retain the original exterior and atmosphere, while incorporating every modern convenience, the house has outstanding features, quality fittings and furnishings. To maximise the unique location and views, all living areas are on the first floor. A small stream runs through the extensive grounds (care required with young children) which are regularly visited by red deer, wildcats, buzzards and ravens.Strontian sits at the gateway to the unspoiled Ardnamurchan peninsula and is accessed either by the Corran ferry over Loch Linnhe or a scenic coastal road from Fort William - 1 hour’s drive. The village has local shops and two excellent hotels.
