Indian Shores---A quiet, quaint jewel of a beach town with wonderful restaurants... and Hibiscus House is situated right in the middle of it all!! Clearwater and St. Pete beaches are easily accessible utilizing the inexpensive Beach Trolley. You'll be only an hour away from Disney World, and 30 minutes from Busch Gardens in Tampa.

Our Two Bedroom, Two Full Bath Condo is directly on the Beach. It is in an intimate building with only nine other units. The Master Bedroom is on the Gulf side with unobstructed Gulf views. This is an unusual feature not found in most beachfront condominiums. If that is not enough, the Master Bedroom also has it's own, private 10 x 10 covered balcony which is accessible from the living room as well.

This privately situated Southwest Corner Unit affords magnificent Views! Just picture yourself sitting on the balcony taking in the Sunsets!! But that is not all, there is also a second balcony off of the living room to enjoy your evening cocktails.

Open up the sliding glass doors, let the Gulf breeze in.....and sleep to the sound of the waves in the Master Bedroom king-size bed. Cable TV and a VCR complete the room, along with a walk-in closet in the Master Bath. There are upscale furnishings throughout the Hibiscus House including the sunken living room with beamed ceilings and hardwood floors. An open floor plan allows you to view the Gulf from the kitchen and dining area as well.

A corner fireplace adds an element of warmth that our guests describe as a "homey" feel to the condo. A very comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa completes the living room. A second bedroom features beach cottage furnishings and two twin beds.

We are local owners who tend to our condo frequently to make sure everything is clean, and in good condition. We have lived in this area most of our lives and have extensive knowledge of the towns around. We also have professional knowledge of the local real estate up and down the beaches.

Professionally decorated, freshly painted, and updated with newer appliances and furnishings, in a tropical and whimsical motif, the Hibiscus House puts you right in the middle of all that you would want to do during a coastal vacation. We invite you to indulge in it at the Hibiscus House.

Owner's Profile

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 2001

I am a 30 year resident of the Indian Shores / Indian Rocks Beach area. Throughout this time I have traveled the state and still prefer the Central West Coast. There is nothing that can compare to ending your day with a beautiful sunset. My occupation is real estate. I have been a real estate broker for 27 years and specialize in the beach communities of Pinellas County.

Why the Owner Chose Sun Place

This one of a kind Southwest corner unit is located in a small intimate building and will not be duplicated anywhere else. The unit provides the feeling that you are in a single family home instead of a condo.

The Unique Benefits of this Condo

The privacy of the Hibiscus House is the most unique feature of the property.

My husband and I spent 7 glorious days at Hibiscus House in July 2003. We chose Hibiscus House from the Internet and were a little nervous about staying someplace where we had never before visited. This was not only our first visit to Hibiscus House but also to Indian Rocks, Florida. We were certainly less apprehensive about staying at HH after speaking with Beth on the telephone. Her friendly but professional manner will put you at ease and make you feel that you are in good hands from the get-go. HH as well as Indian Rocks far exceeded our expecations. Beth's online pictures DO NOT do her beach house justice! Absolutely everything you need is provided and Beth is just a phone call away should you need her for any reason. She even provides a binder FULL of information about things to do in the areas, restaurants, etc. Take her recommendations to heart -- we did and were never disappointed. Indian Rocks beach itself is lovely. The sand is soft, the water cool and relatively calm, and the beach uncrowded. All in all, this was one of the most relaxing vacations we've ever spent. I highly recommend Beth's beach house. We will definitely return!

We were five two adults one teenager and two aged 12 and 10. It's not an easy mix finding a place that suits everyone but Hibiscus House had it all. While the condo iteself was just beautiful it was the extras that did it for me - a basket of sports magazines that kept the men happy! A basket of beach toys that saved us having to buy all that kind of stuff and leave it behind as we've had to do on other holidays ( there's not much call for buckets and spades in the midlands here in Ireland!!) Bottle openers, corkscrew, sellotape, scissors, everything for cooking, a family friendly kitchen, loads of towels, beach chairs......You know all those little things that you have i your house, need in an apartment, don't have on holiday and don't know where to go to get them? Well everything that we could have needed was to hand and loads of little extra touches that showed that this is a family home as well as a rental. We only had one small problem while we were there and one call to Beth saw it sorted. That's impressive. As for the beach....beautiful, white, sandy and so clean. The water is very safe for children but still a good place to have a proper swim if you are so inclined. Enough people so that it is not empty but plenty of space to feel that this is your own patch. The balcony is directly over the sand. I have never been in a building so near the sand and water before. All in all I really recommend Hibiscus House to anyone who wants to enjoy a Florida holiday in a home away from home. Now if only I could move it all over here......!!

We have just completed a wonderful week at the Hibiscus House (Oct 10-18, 2002). My family and I could not have been more pleased. I found the Hibiscus House on the internet while surfing through a number of different sites for Florida Condos. I was a bit leery about renting off the internet but was quickly put at ease after communicating with Beth via email. She was very informative, quick to answer and never seemed the least bit put out with my numerous questions. It was such a welcome relief to unlock and open the door to a condo that looked exactly like the Web site pictures. The condo was beautiful and gave us such a feeling of being on an exotic island. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the porch and watching the gentle waves rolling in. I most enjoyed the long talks with my 19 year old daughter while sitting up late at night out on the porch bar stools and feeling the cool breeze blowing in. The condo was beautiful and the beach inviting but our visit was even greater because of the owner, Beth. It seems she has thought of everything. The 3 ring binder chocked full of local information was invaluable. We communicated a need while there and Beth took care of it immediately and pleasantly. I can not say enough about our stay and would highly recommend the Hibiscus House and its owners to anyone and would visit again in a heartbeat. Thank you again Beth, for making our vacation so memorable and such a joy. It has been a real pleasure doing business with you. Vanessa Pierce and family

Renting a vaction retreat through the internet can be quite a stressful experience with all of the options available as well as the insecurity of a property living up to it's descriptions. Not so when we rented the Hibiscus House for our family vacation. From the beginning of the rental process to the end of our wonderful vacation, our expectations were time and time again exceeded by our experiences with the Hibiscus House. All of the pictures that you see on the internet do not do the property justice enough. The Hibiscus House is tastefully decorated with a definate air of comfortable beach living in high style. Each decorative accent makes the Hibiscus House more of a pleasure to enjoy. Everything here is upscale and new - no typical Florida rental decorating here! We felt at home yet pampered because every element of detail has been well planned. Our family of four were relaxed and comfortable staying at the property where our toes were literally a stones throw from the lapping ocean waves. Every morning we woke to the sound of the surf in the master bedroom suite and then went on to enjoy our breakfast on the scenic porch overlooking some of the most breathtaking views this family of beachgoers has every seen! The beach was never crowded, and for us that is very important. In fact, at times, we felt like we had the ocean to ourselves. It is a very quiet location yet, we were centrally located to everthing a vacationer could possibly need. Great restaurants abound here! Above all, renting the Hibiscus House gives you a sense of security. It is not like renting from an agent or complex where everthing in impersonal. Staying here, you feel like you are being well provided for. You are not just a reservation number - you are truly a cherished guest. We would would like to reccomend Hibiscus House to everyone however, sometimes things this good are best kept a secret - SHHHHHHHH! Erin, Connecticut

We just returned from our wonderful vacation and stay in the Hibiscus House at Indian Shores! It was the best vacation we have had! We spent everyday except one at the Hibiscus House and beach! The Hibiscus House is everything you can imagine and more! The sound of the ocean is just as marvelous the view! Being able to eat breakfast on the balcony with the ocean at your feet is something one can only imagine doing, but here you are actually able to do it! Staying at the Hibiscus House really made our vacation perfect. You feel so comfortable here that you will not want to go home. And when you do you will be longing to go back! Not only does it have every comfort of home but it has much much more, right down to the best places to eat! We cannot imagine any one or place being more hospitable than at the Hibiscus House! If you are looking for a fun, quiet, and perfect place then this is it look no further! Our family will definately be enjoying the hospitality of the Hibiscus House again!
