Beautiful Private Home in Silver Lake Village!
Enjoy this beautiful house, nestled away in the Aspen and Pine Trees! One of the only private homes for rent in the Silver Lake Village area, located in Upper Deer Valley. If you prefer the tranquility of your own home, as opposed to the busier condominium and/or townhouse lifestyle, then you will love this gem. Walk across the street and about 85 steps to a ski access trail that will take you directly to Deer Valley's Success and Last Chance ski run. In addition, you can ski back to the house and only walk about 100 steps (downhill!) to get back home!
If you do not want to utilize the ski access trail, we are only a four minute walk, that is, less than 1/4 mile to Silver Lake Village, where you can catch the Upper Deer Valley ski lifts and purchase tickets from the ticket office. In Silver Lake Village, you will also find many fabulous restaurants, including the World Renowned Stein Eriksen Lodge and Spa. Imagine what a luxury it is to be so close to the Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge, that you could walk home after one of their many pampering treatments.
Also available in the Silver Lake Village area are great shops and complimentary Deer Valley ski storage, which saves you the effort of carrying your skis back and forth! This is, of course, only if you choose not to use the ski access trail. We highly recommend you use the ski access trail, if you feel comfortable on trails, because it is so much more convenient and enjoyable!
After a great day of skiing, come home and soak in your own private hot tub, nestled within the trees on the back patio, or warm up in your own private steam shower in the Master Bedroom.
With several boutique shops, restaurants and the number one ski resort in North America, according to Ski Magazine 2008, one does not even need to leave the Silver Lake Village area! However, if you want to venture out, there is a Free Shuttle bus that will take you just about anywhere in Park City that you would like to go.
Not only is Park City home to the Sundance Film Festival, but Park City's Main Street is filled with fine restaurants, quaint boutique shops and chic galleries. In addition, you could even take the free shuttle to the Utah Olympic Park. Imagine speeding down an ice chute on a bobsled or luge, quite the thrill!
So whether you want to enjoy the many restaurants and nightclubs on Main Street, or go skiing or snowboarding at Park City Mountain Resort or the Canyons, the free shuttle will take you there! The free shuttle Bus Stop is only steps away from your front door!
In case you decide to rent a car, here are some driving distances from this beautiful Silver Lake home to the following locations, these include Top of Main Street 2.3 miles away, Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) 3.8 miles away, Park City Town Lift, which is a ski lift for PCMR 2.8 miles away, The Canyons about 7 miles away, and Utah Olympic Park about 9 miles away. In addition, other ski resorts such as Snow Basin, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude, are within driving distance as well.

Owner Description
We love Park City/Deer Valley and we are both VERY easy to get along with! In addition, we are always willing to negotiate our rates if our home is not already being rented! Many listings on VRBO are being run by rental agencies (which doesn't make sense since it is supposed to be 'Vacation Rentals by Owner'???) and rental agencies are simply not able to negotiate as much as we are since they have to pay their property management companies! Instead we give the savings to those who rent from us!
Why the Owner Chose Silver Lake Village
We love Park City/Deer Valley. I grew up in Park City and actually attended Park City High School. My husband has been living in Deer Valley and building homes in Deer Valley, Park City and his development in Oakley for nearly 20 years! If you ever want real information about Park City/Deer Valley real estate, feel free to ask him because he will be honest. Unlike many other realtors who simply want to sell anything they can, my husband primarily builds homes (in other words his primary income is not from selling real estate!).
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our Deer Valley home is our primary residence and we love everything here or we wouldn't live here! We love the easy ski in/ski out access...we think it makes skiing soooooo much more enjoyable than having to park in the parking lot and carry ski gear!!! Location, Location, Location...My husband built this home here because it is THE prime location in Deer Valley--we can walk to all the restaurants, boutique shops and Spa at Stein Erickson's lodge! Empire may be the newer area, but it is so much further away from Park City and you can't walk to all the great restaurants and shops in Silver Lake Village!! We also LOVE the summers since no one lives in any of the homes around ours...so it is VERY peaceful and stunningly beautiful. We take walks around the neighborhood daily and we also love to hike around as well! And when we rent our home out in Deer Valley, we go to our home just outside of Tubac, Arizona...another beautiful and peaceful area!
