Sister Trip

Date of Stay: 11/06/11 Review Submitted: 11/07/11

We have thoroughly enjoyed our 2011 "Sister Trip" at this quaint little cottage. This year marks our 20th annual trip. It was a great weekend of crafting, eating, resting, talking and laughing. The decor and many of the items in the house brought back fond memories of our childhood, but we really were happy to have the WiFi. We certainly enjoyed your lovely home, looking at all the pictures and things we remember from our childhood. St. Marys is a wonderful town and everyone is so friendly. The weather was wonderful. Y'all have a lovely home. You did a great job with everything. Thanks you so much and God bless you. Huntsville, AL Fayetteville, TN Largo, FL

Thank you so much for the very "home-like" feeling that you have created in this house. It helped make our vacation feel more comfortable. What a beautiful place you have! We had lots of fun just looking at your decor. Lots of love, Courtney, Mike, Ryan (Thanks Joe!) and Sarah

My family had the honor and pleasure to spend two nights in your home. It was relaxing, comfortable and brought back so many joyous childhood memories. When I arrived I was tired and a little stressed, but when the stay was over I felt redeemed. I thank God for the owners who designed a place like this and most of all to "share it". I thank my sister for taking the time to search for this house and bringing the family together to weather my nieces wedding. To God be The Glory!! May God continue to bless you, Violet, South Carolina

Our month in your home has been like a home away from home. Our girls have enjoyed the large backyard and their adopted kitty, "Meatball". Our daily commute to Jacksonville was very easy and I would recommend this home to anyone in need of a "Radiation Vacation". We really enjoyed our trip to Cumberland Island and walking to our favorite playground and beer garden. Our best, The A's, Ft. Lauderdale

After a month in this lovely home we are reluctantly headed back to Colorado. Every day has been an experience in Southern life and we have enjoyed all that we have seen. This house is clean and comfortable and the people of St. Marys are wonderful. Thank you for allowing us to share this home. We will remember it with fondness. B&J

Thank you for your beautiful house. It was a such a nice and comfortable place. My parents and 2 kids - enough room for all of us. My son loved the backyard to play catch and the board games were a hit. St. Marys is a beautiful town and I am so happy my kids got to experience the history and Southern charm it has to offer. We live in Salt Lake City, UT and we were ready for some sun and warm weather. Thanks for sharing such a great house and location. Out best, K, B and S

Comfortable, clean, charming. The listing was accurate and the home exceeded our expectations. Our group of friends had a wonderful time at this house only steps away from all sights, shops and restaurants. Quirky design elements added to the charm. The deck was both morning and evening relaxation time. Meeting Ronnie and Jagger was a special treat. St Marys is a sleepy village well worth exploring with friendly folk quick to aid in your discoveries. Our favorite restaurants were Lang's and the Mad Hatter. Cumberland Island is not to be missed. Stunningly beautiful. Thanks to Liz for answering questions especially to Ronnie for responding to questions and concerns and sharing Jagger.

Loved the creative decor in the house - every detail is so thought out, and so perfect! My parents have recently passed away, and we have many similar items, which made it interesting to me. We enjoyed St. Marys. Went to Cumberland Island in our boat and saw horses, turkey, deer, racoons, and lots of birds. Loved eating at Lang's and swinging in the swings at the park afterwards. Thanks for sharing your unique home with us.

We really enjoyed our 4 day stay in this quaint home. Favorite things were catching crabs and the 4th of July celebratin and Cumberland Island. We loved it so much it inspired me to write a song: If you like drinking margaritas and getting bit by mosquitoes, If you're into fresh seafood St. Marys is the place. If ou like to swing in the moonlight and reading by the tree with coastal waters and beaches, St. Marys can't be beat! Molly and Kenneth Sims and Debbie Aiello

This cottage is perfect in every way! Very comfortable, extremely clean and decorated/furnished so that as soon as you walk in the door you feel right at home! Located on a lovely little street that is just a bike ride or leisurley walk away from just about every place you would want to visit in St. Marys makes this cottage the perfect spot to plan your stay! Thank you, thank you for a wonderful stay in your lovely cottage. We had the best time. We ate at Pauley's and the Mad Hatter. Our favorite shopping spots are the French Quarter, The Feathered Nest, Kane's Collectibles and the Secret Closet. We also enjoyed the cemetery and collecting shells on Cumberland Island. We have made memories to keep us going for another year, and hopefully we can come back for another dose of St. Marys. Blessings to you, Angie

What a charmer! This sweet, clean place is perfectly located on a quiet street, just an easy stroll on sidewalks to town and river. Very comfortable for a family or 3 couples. The large deck is great for a morning cup of tea while listening to the birds or a cold drink in the evening while reviewing the day's adventures. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying here again!

This little cottage is delightful. If you want a laid back break in a sleepy little coastal town--this is the place. It is very clean, very quiet, very private and well laid out for a family. Charming. Will come again!
