We stayes in Las Rocas for the first time, and it was fabulous. The house is large, pleasant and private. My children enjoyed the very well heated pool whole day long. The welcome was great, even at nighttime arrival, and so are the surrounding villages and we also had a nice trip to nearby Gibraltar See you next time Franken familyOwner response: So glad you a nice time! La casa está muy bien, quizás da la impresión en las fotos un poco más grande de lo que en realidad es. Estuvimso 8 adultos y 6 niñso y había sitio de sobra para todos. Las vistas son impresionantes, la euipación de la casa muy muy completa, la única pega que no hay aire acondicionado, aunque normalmente es una zona que no hace demasiado calor, este verano ha sido especialmente caluroso y lo hemos echado de menos. Tanto Curro como Victoria son muy atentos y hacen la estancia mu yagradable.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have had a wonderful week at Las Rocas, thank you! Curro and Victoria provided a great welcome and the Villa was superb. We used the services of Maral on two evenings and she provided us with wonderful feasts which were beautifully presented and tasted fabulous. just as expected, Las Rocas is still as wonderful as it used to be three years ago. We had the pleasure to reassume a couple of wonderful days being able to see the mountains of Northern Africa and the wonderful Atlantic The house and the whole surrounding area are just extraordinary and this bit of heaven here is still the best holiday domicile we have ever been to.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Hallo Gale, We had a really nice and relaxing holiday in your holiday villa. All of us, 4 adults and 6 children ( 10 month – 9 year )enjoyed the spaceful house with its well-equipped rooms as well as the wonderful garden-area. The sight of the sea, which could be seen from all bedrooms, was really breathtaking. The way to the beach – which was really not crowded – took with the car only a few minutes, to walk to the beach is possible and would be taken about 15 minutes. A special praise for your housekeepers. Curro and his wife are really lovely people. If you had a problem, Curro come immediately and tried to solve it. Hallo Gale, We had a realy nice and relaxing holiday in your holiday villa. All of us, 4 adults and 6 children ( 10 month – 9 year )enjoyed the spaceful house with its well-equiped rooms as well as the wonderful garden-area. The way to the nice sandy beach – which was really not crowded – took with the car only a few minutes, to walk to the beach is possible and would be taken about 15 minutes, but not with childen, it would be too exhaused. A special praise for your housekeepers. Curro and his wife are really lovely people. If you had a problem, Curro come immediately and tried to solve it. Your recommendation to rent a car by “Do you spain” was really super. Good cars for quite less money. I would recomment you holliday villa to everyone who like to spend their hollidays with their family or friends in a wellappointed, privat atmosphere.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Having stayed in Many Villas in the Area, this is the best we have found. The views are fantastic and once you arrive you will not want to leave. Beautiful gardens lots of space if you want a quiet spot, great pool and barbecue area. Lots of room in the villa to relax, sit in the garden room for lunch enjoying the sea views, curl up on the sofa in front of the fire with a good book, or dinner on one of the many terraces, something for everyone any time of year Gale has equipped the Las Rocas with all you will need and more, so real home from home, unlike normal rental accommodation. Many great restaurants, tapas bars all within an easy reach. Local beach fantastic, even during or out of season a wonderful quiet spot can be found We will all miss lying in bed watching the sea, or our early evening drinks around the pool, will definately be back, to enjoy this superb villa. As a group of 12 kiters this villa was great for us a little out of the way but that added to it, we think. close by for so many attractions, views was amazing and best way to wake up to eat breakfast looking out across to morocco. Weather wasn't great but open fire made it not a problem for cosy evenings sat around.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.
Owner response: The end of November in this area is winter and the weather is naturally changeable - sometimes warm around 20 deg and sometimes a lot cooler!

Villa Las Rocas was perfect for us - four couples and two toddlers - so much space for everyone together but still with privacy. We had some fantastic dinners on the terrace - cooked by our own gourmet chef - and a lovely meal out at nearby Varadero. Our little ones loved the whole weekend - the brand new travel cots were amazing (and the gorgeous squishy Ikea animals!!) - the paddling pool was a surprise bonus - they spent HOURS in it !!! I As a busy mum, I also have to comment on the lovely new washing machine, big fridge, and lovely big clean new kitchen. Only slight negative point was the villa being at the top of the hill - we could not have walked with the children, so needed the car each time we went out. The website is very accurate in its description and pictures - the villa is beautiful and full of character. We had a wonderful visit and hope to stay again next year some time.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Everyone enjoyed the holiday thanks and had a great time at the villa. The property is as advertised, but you’ve clearly spent money on the bathrooms and kitchen plus, I was told, the floors and it shows well. We all enjoyed the panoramic views and found the place very quiet and free from noise . In the first week there was a gentle breeze which made staying outdoors very pleasant, certainly noticeably cooler than other parts of Spain which is good. . The staff were excellent and we couldn’t praise them highly enough. They keep the villa, pool and gardens in great shape and are both pleasant and willing to help in any way. We were obliged to go in August because of the school holidays, but Spain certainly de-camps to the beaches during that month. I imagine the area is considerably quieter at other times of the year. YES, we were at the villa and we had the BEST time! Three generations (ages 15 to 87) from two continents were as comfortable as can be. We cooked, baked, and grilled a lot; we laughed even more; we hung out and simply enjoyed each other and the splendid environment. The house was large enough for the 12 of us, the dining room table perfect to enjoy many delicious meals. Our hikes to the sea were rewarded with swimming and lovely shells. The caretakers are jewels; the villa and the equipment are precious; the view is indescribable, breathtaking. We were creative and left a poem in the book of the house. Thank you for sharing this wondrous place with us.
