The best of both worlds! Built in 2005 on the narrow barrier island of Fenwick, this sumptuous, multimillion-dollar home sits on the bay, but is located just two blocks from the ocean. Enjoy spectacular views of the bay from three sides of the house. Bring your own boat or paddle off from the private dock in one of the new kayaks. From the dock you can travel a short distance to Assawoman Bay in MD you can fish and water ski and be in the ocean in about 25 minutes.
Swim in the ocean all day and return to the heated pool for a dip before dinner. Rental of this fabulous property includes two permits for parking 40 feet from the beach, plus the use of three kayaks and four beach bikes.
What Does the House Offer?
The house boasts three king bed master suites — one contains a soaking tub and a very large, two head walk-in shower. Another bedroom includes a single and a queen; one bedroom has four bunks; and the den offers one queen bed. Adjacent to the pool, the den also features a sink. Amenities include a fabulous cook’s kitchen with two refrigerators and two sinks, a 42” HD plasma TV, four more TVs with DVDs, and a large second-floor deck overlooking the bay and brilliant sunsets
-a fabulous spot for evening cocktails or a celebration gathering. Relax in the soothing 7 person hot tub.

Description of the Area and Activities
The guarded beach is about 10 minute walk away from the house and there is off street parking at the house for 6 cars . And if you need it, we supply parking passes for on street parking.
You can tour the bay with the local tour company in canoes or kayaks, join a bike group to ride the back roads or enjoy the amusements just a walking distance from the home or a 20 minute drive from the home to the Ocean City, 3 mile boardwalk. The boardwalk has a medium size amusement park with rides.
There is also access to a large state park beach right up the road with plenty of parking. The park has life guard, showers, rest rooms, snack bar, and umbrella rentals and the beach was replenished in the fall of 2008 so it is very wide. Fenwick’s beach is guarded, quiet and not at all crowed as you need to have a resident pass to park which restricts the number of beach goers. We supply 2 Wonder Wheel Beach Caddies that holds Full 48 qt. Cooler and up to 4 chairs, plus sturdy mesh bag storing tons of gear.
The house is a short drive to the 140 outlet, tax-free shops in Rehoboth Beach.
The town Fenwick – Called the Quiet Resort - spans about 14 blocks and the restaurants, stores and activities are an easy walk from the house. The town hall has a good playground for children, a basketball half court, and a shuffle board court and a picnic area. There are 7 restaurants within walking distance, a caramel corn shop, convenience store, book shop, several clothing and swim suit stores, three miniature golf courses, a water slide, and a go cart track
Ocean and bay watersports -
charter boat fishing, wind surfing. Local watersports: swimming, crabbing, clamming, boating, kayaking, jet skiing, sailing, sport fishing, beachcombing, surfing, shelling, windsurfing.

Payment is only accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner.
Check in is 3 PM, and check out is 10 AM. Early check ins and check outs by request for a fee in September to May rentals ($75)
We rent partial weeks from September 15 to May 20.
We can accept credit cards but do charge a small fee.

Bed linens, towels are not included and can be rented and dropped off and picked up at your door.
Security Deposit is $1000 and is refundable. Cancellation fee is $250 if we can replace your rental.
Rate for heating the pool: $500/week - $75/day

You can see another of my homes at this site and from there also see my Sunset and Indian homes. The three sleep three families comfortably in 3500 to 4000 sq ft.

Wow We loved the home, the incredible views, the interior-wide open, many decks and a pool with water views . Our kids loved their daily paddle in the kayaks and we adults loved the front porch in the evening wathcing the incredible sunsets. We're coming back

The Sunset House was amazing. My family and I wanted a get away all together and this house was perfect. The view was fantastic and the kids had a great time. The house was spacious, clean the amenities are too much to mention. I can't wait until next year.

I just wanted to let people know what a wonderful week my family and I had staying at the Sunset House. The interior was only outdone by the exterior of the house. The pool, jacuzzi and the beauiful sunset was more than we expected. I highly recommend anyone who wants to relax and enjoy quality time with their family.

My sister and I were looking for a place for our families to vacation together. We found the perfect place. The house was spacious enough for both our families and impecable both inside and out. The pool and jacuzzi were a hit with everyone especially the kids. The hightlight for me was sitting on the balcony with everyone looking at the beautiful sunset and talking and laughing for hours. I can't wait until next year.

Took whole family to Sunset house for Halloween this year and Sea Witch Festival in Rehoboth. The house was perfect for our extended family and sunsets were awesome from the decks! We will return next year.

The house was perfect for a week with the grandchildren and families. The kids had a great time in the ocean and heated pool. There was plenty of space so everyone could have any privacy they needed. The time we spent on the decks was quite memorable.

I recently attended a Wedding and Reception at this property. I was one of the fortunate ones that got to actually stay at this house. It was “Fabulous”. The back yard was beautiful with the arbor and the view of the Bay. The attention to detail in the home was unparalleled. I only wish that my own wedding could have been here. Great house for a reception, the floor plan is open and flowing and accommodated quite a large reception. I had a great time and would recommend this site as an alternative to a traditional Reception Hall.

Even though it was a wet and windy October weekend we had a great time. It was our girlfriends' getaway and the 5 of us stayed warm and dry and thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace. Great house for anytime of the year.

We had four children under 4 yrs. so the pool was perfect. Shade was available, it was accessable from the house yet fenced in. Nice views. Working bikes and beach equipment was appreciated. We took advantage of the dock and used our dingy boat to tour the canals. Plenty of room.
