IT'S ALWAYS THE PERFECT SEASON TO GET TO THE BEACH! - - You will adore this new luxury town home in the Sunset Island community built in 2006. Sunset Island is a 24 hour guarded community at 67th Street. The community has indoor/outdoor pools, a clubhouse with exercise facilities and sauna, private bayside beaches, and an interactive fountain that your children will thoroughly enjoy. There are two master suites and 3 other bedrooms and a total of 4 ½ baths. This unit will accomodate 12.
The main level has an open floor plan with plenty of seating in the kitchen and formal dining area. There are balconies off two of the bedrooms, a balcony off of the living room, a large screened porch off the kitchen and a large entrance front porch. There are four TVs.
The first level has a front and back entrance with a two-car garage and additional room for two more cars in the driveway. The laundry room is on this level as well as one full bath and a bedroom/office with a pull out hideaway bed/sofa.
The second level has a large eat in kitchen, formal dining room and living room. A large screened porch adjoins the kitchen and wonderful balcony with bay views is just off the living room. There is a half bath on this level as well.
The third level consists of a king size master bedroom, with a bath that contains a Jacuzzi tub as well as a separate shower. There are also two other bedrooms on this level each with double beds. There is also a full hall bath on this level.
On the fourth level is the queen size bedroom master suite with its own balcony.

We stayed at this property in July of 2009 the owners were so easy to work with. The property was clean and just beautiful. We will be staying again this year if it is available. Sunset Is;and is the place to stay.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
Good Stay-Dealing With Owner After Stay NOT SO GOOD

I want to start by saying the home was adequately described and the photos adequately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. The property was also clean when we arrived. However, upon arrival there was a note on the sink indicating that the dishwasher and garbage disposal were not working. The owner did not leave any indication that she planned to fix said deficiencies; it seemed as if she was just informing us that she knew that they weren't working. It was not until a leak occurred and I contacted her about the leak, that she came to repair it. Despite notifying me about the dishwasher/garbage disposal, we were never notified that the ice maker was also broken and it was never fixed during our stay. However, after our departure the owners indicated they knew that it didn't work prior to our arrival. In addition, upon our arrival, we did an inspection of the home and noticed that the toilet seat lid was cracked. However, we did not report this to the owner because it did not affect our stay and we found it trivial. This was a mistake!!! An exorbitant amount of money was deducted from our deposit to replace the toilet seat lid and the "labor" to replace it, as the owner indicated it took 2 hours to replace a toilet seat lid. Please learn from our mistake, especially at this property, and report every little deficiency you find in the home or you will be assessed astronomical fees. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the community was lovely and we were already planning our vacation next year at this property, but our experience involving the refund of our deposit will prevent us from renting from this owner again!!!"
Owner response:The toilet seat lid was not broken as indicated by the tenant, however, the toilet seat was broken. It was not broken immediately before the tenants arrival. The broken toilet seat was addressed as an emergency response as elderly tenants with limited mobility were involved. Our contractor jumped to action to replace the toilet seat asap. Issues regarding the garbage disposal were fixed by me personally within 1 day of the report of the problem regarding a dishwasher leak to me. The dishwasher leak was due to inoperability of the garbage disposal which had shards of glass from a previous tenant.
Recommended for:Age 55+.
