Our House at the Beach has everything you need to spend a relaxing day in island style. You may choose to start your day with the morning paper and a cup of coffee while you enjoy the ocean breeze from your terrace next to the lake or take in an early tennis game at the private tennis courts located by the pool. By mid morning, you may decide to either enjoy your afternoon at the resort style heated pool and grill your lunch in the covered gazebo or head across to the beach. No need to hassle with parking, leave the car at home!
In just 500 steps you will arrive at 'World Renowned' Siesta Key Beach noted for the 'The Whitest Sand in the World'. Here you will find a fun filled afternoon whether you decide to swim, build sand castles, play sand volleyball, walk the beach, jet ski, parasail, have lunch at the snack bar, read a book, take a nap, search for shells, sunbathe, or just people watch. Our vacation plans changed 3 days before we were to fly in, and I needed a place to stay. I found this Condo, and the Owner called me back right away! It was great! We loved having coffee on the Deck and watching the turtles in the pond and lizards in the trees, nice to feel like you have some privacy. It was a very short walk to the Siesta Key public Beach (white sand so fine it's like powder!), but the Pool was excellent too! "Downtown" in the Siesta Key Village was a short drive, or a 20 minute walk, and the outdoor restaurant The Hub, was great. We also ate at Captain Curt's, excellent value and great place to take the kids! Having wireless internet in the Unit was great as we brought the Laptop, and searched for things to do and see. I even emailed the owner with a question, and she was more than helpful!! Two hour drive to Disney, one hour from Tampa/St Pete. Excellent Value, Excellent Location!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Year Purchased: 1999
About the owner: We bought our beach home in 1999 and have throughly enjoyed our years on Siesta Key. Our three, now adult children, have fond memories of the island and we look forward to sharing our home with their families in future years. This is our home too, so we try to provide every amnemity that you might need to enjoy your stay. Our House at the Beach has just the right mix of privacy yet has great access to the Beach and Siesta Key Village while still maintaining a tropical feel. I hope you choose our condo for your vacation to the Gulf.
Why the Owner Chose Our House at The Beach:
We love the development at Our House at the Beach. As opposed to being in a tall highrise with alot of people traffic and exterior noise, our unit is one of fifteen or so villas that sits around a lake. This lends itself to being very private almost like your own home versus a large hotel.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our access to Siesta Key Beach is great. Just 500 steps from the beautiful white sand beach. Our unit is large 1352 square feet and has lots of room for a family of six to spread out. There are lots of extra storage if your're going to be a long term guest. The Key itself, is very accessible to downtown Sarasota and all that a larger town has to offer, yet Siesta maintains its tropicial island feel.
