A quiet residential community surrounded by the Santa Rosa mountains comprised of second or part time homes and full time residents. A very short drive to the village of La Quinta, La Quinta Resort, Olde Towne, restaurants and golfing. Or walk the cove's perimeter path and hike the natural trails at the top of the cove.

Three bedrooms, two and a half baths, at 1640 square feet. Private spa that cascades into the heated pool. Patio and built-in grill.
This custom built home was completed and furnished in April 2005. It offers a relaxing setting on a corner lot with spectacular mountain views.
Casa Colima is decorated in a comfortable modern theme. Its living room with a decorative fireplace looks out to the salt-water pool, spa with waterfall and patio. The courtyard/patio is surrounded by a perimeter privacy wall high enough to afford a very private setting but still allowing for the mountain views to be enjoyed from both indoors and out. The large kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters is open to the dining area and adjacent to the outdoor dining area with built-in gas grill. The generously-size master with slider to the pool area has a bath with jetted spa tub and separate shower all finished in slab travertine marble.
There is a second and third bedroom that share a Jack and Jill bathroom. Each bedroom and living room has televisions with cable and DVD players. There is a computer with high speed wireless service, fax and free long distance telephone within the US and Canada. The home has travertine marble floors throughout except for the carpeted bedrooms, ten-foot high ceilings and a two-car garage. Newly built and decorated, fully turn-key furnished for your carefree vacation enjoyment.

Casa Colima, and it's owner Jeff are two rare gems. We have stayed at Casa Colima for two, one month vacations and we love it! The home is beautifully appointed, open and spacious and light filled from the moment the sun rises above the mountains. In fact, a unique feature are the high windows which enable you to see mountains from all sides of the home. The large kitchen is fantastic- stocked with every kitchen utensil you could want and it has stunning granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The master bedroom has a very pretty view that opens onto the pool, a comfy king size bed and the spacious master bathroom is appointed in granite, with double sinks, jetted bathtub and a large shower. Everything we could want, along with a large walk in closet that will hold any size wardrobe! The home is located in the unique cove area meaning it is surrounded by mountains making morning walks into the mountains a great way to start the day. It is located close to everything- Olde Town, shopping, golfing, tennis etc and has a great neighbourhood feel to it. It's fun to walk the streets to see the variety of homes and of course, every neighbour will send you a greeting as you pass. In short, everything about this house is lovely. Jeff, the owner, has provided us with outstanding service over the years. He is immediately reachable if you have any questions and it was simple to make our contractual arrangements from 4,000 miles away. His intent is truly to make you vacation easy and memorable and he provides stellar service along the way. I highly recommend Casa Colima for every special vacation you want to take!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We absolutely LOVED this home. It is gorgeous, new and modern. Very comfortable. We loved hanging by the pool and the scenery was amazing! Would recommend this home to anyone. We spent a wonderful time here. The house and amenities were perfect. Kitchen is fantastic for making a nice big meal with indoor and outdoor cooking and dinning options. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and very comfortable... but in all honesty, the pool and hot tub were the spots to be. Every night under that beautiful expanse of stars and every morning surrounded by the majest of the mountains... we liked it so much we didn't want to leave when our time was up!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This home is a great value for the Palm Desert Area. The home is fully furnished with everything one could need while on vacation. We cooked at home, and dined outdoors too! Casa Colima, as it is called, has the luxury and amenities of a gated community home without the premium rental rates! The private pool and spa are great, and we used it every night of our stay. The Master Bedroom is very large and inviting, and the living spaces are open to one another for entertaining. Wireless internet access is available too, and a desktop computer is included. I will not forget to mention the great views of the mountains, nearby walking trails, and minutes drive to Old Town La Quinta. Great place to stay!Recommended for: Age 55+.

super comfy and fully operational, casa colima is an effortless respite suitable for variable sized family/friend groups. this growing yet still quaint desert town offers an assortment of amenities from natural grocers to one-stop and large food stores, casual to fine dining, no cost outdoor park exercise equipment to pricey sport and spa facilities... all a quick car trip away. I especially enjoyed extended late night dining and pool/spa sessions during balmily warm but not too hot september nights. hope to return soonRecommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This place was Great, My husband and I felt right at home , it was furnish not like a rental but a REAL nice vacation home , The Owners are true to their word when we asked if it was well stock , when we arrive it was stock like the Four Seasons hotel . Planning to return again soon... Must rent if you are considering to go play in La Quinta. We have rented others in the pass and it did not compare.
