Hi Olga, We had a wonderful time staying at your place. The picture does not give it justice in how the place is, it is much better. Waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean is the best vacation spot ever. I miss Puerto Rico already, cannot wait to come back again, and stay at your place. I would recommend my friends to come and stay at this condo.. We were here for the month of December and it was not enough time to visit all the places we wanted to visit. We ate at POPEYE's restaurant, the best seafood ever. We visited OLD SAN JUAN and its cobblestone streets. We went to PONCE, MAYAGUEZ, HORMIGUEROS, ARECIBO to see the observatory (a must see), Cavernas de camuy (Cave), YUNQUE (rainforest), LUQUILLO beach and its kiosk (100 of them) different types of food. FAJARDO to take the ferry to CULEBRA (Flamenco Beach is the best beach in the world). We rented a car and put a lot of mileage on it. Hertz was the best. I want to thank you again Olga for allowing us to stay at your place and making our vacation one of the best. Luis and Annette

When we arrived,Owner showed up to greet us & have the toilet "fixed" for two flushes. after taking off my shoes and checking out the place It was Filthy The area & beach NOT safe feeling& so drove an hour to beach. there is no room here to add the Owners Response-She says We should have called her, Akward and weird she was there she should have been the one to check the place??? and she was not willing to do anything to compensate us BUYER BEWARE not even the cleaning fee... WOW!!! Dear Olga, We found your condo to be less than enjoyable, I spent the first three hours mopping floors that were so sticky dirty, I didn't feel comfortable taking my shoes off. followed up with doing the dishes because they were all dirty as well as scouring the tub and toilet. The sheets on the bed were full of black hairs requiring laundering and the laundry room only has one working dryer so it took us several hours to do two loads. the towels smell like grease they need washed and bleached and the bed itself is broken down so when one person lays in the center the second rolls torwards them have you noticed the electrical sockets are coming away from the walls and the slider door does not latch or lock this is a saftey concern for us and future tenants. the refrigerator was sticky and had to be cleaned as well as, the foreman grill full of someone elses leftovers. have you looked at the floor between the stove and sink? it is crusted with fith the floors and base boards are still dirty as I was not getting down on my hands an knees to clean floors, and didn't have the proper equiptment to do a good job. we really didn't enjoy using our hand in the back of the toilet to flush it, it is temporarily hooked up but needs repaired. We ended up spending the last two days at a different location that was 30.00 cheaper and alot cleaner and nicer. the place still needs cleaned badly. I left behind a few things to make the next tenant's stay a little better like detergent and softener and coffee. a few dishtowels in the kitchen would have been nice. sorry to be the bearer of this news but to have a positive experience for future tenants I feel it is important to give you this info I would like you to refund to us at least half our money because of the hassle and cleaning that I had to do. and the inconvience of it all this was not how I had planned to spend the first day and a half of our trip and we had not planned to pay for a hotel somewhere else. Owner response: To all my future rentals, this is the kind of reviews that we owners can receive if we do not send money back . We call it in Spanish "buscones". I saw the apt the day before this couple came in, everything clean and in order as always. I met them the day they came in, they were already accommodated and nobody was mopping or looked as if they were unhappy and left the place telling them to contact me anytime; never received a call requesting any service or complaint, the condo administration never received request for cleaning or maintenance during their stay. I was very surprised to read all the lies they claim they found in my apt and of course asking for money back. Why they didn't contact me or said anything in person if they found a situation that needed attention. I visited the next rental after they left as well as contacted the previous one and they were happy rentals, no cleaning or security issues. Most of my rentals are referrals, I have guests coming back year after year and my apt is one back up room when the hotel is full. In case there would be a situation during your stay, please contact us, you are not alone.

Lo pasamos de maravilla, hasta celebramos un cumpleaños. Los empleados atentos y complacientes. El apartamento está tal como se ve en las fotos. El ambiente agradable tanto familiar como romántico. Diversas actividades en las Croabas, hasta kareoke en los negocios de mariscos. ! Claro que regreso !

My family and I try to visit Puerto Rico once a year. We stayed at this condo last summer and had such a great time that we decided to rent it again for a longer period of time this year. The stay was awesome just like the previous year. It was money well spent! We will continue to return to this property as long as it is available. It is so convenient to so many great must see places on the island. We have many great memories here....Love it!!! Thank you Olga!

My wife and I stayed 2 weeks in the condo. We had a very good time. The condo was clean and well furnished, and the view from the balcony was fantastic. Allthough we have to travel 24 hours to get there, we are allready considering to visit Puerto Rico next year, and we would very much like to rent the condo again. Tommy Henriksen, Denmark

Tuvimos unas vacaciones fantásticas, El apartamento tiene una excelente ubicación, ademas tiene una hermosa vista de las islas en alta mar, la piscina muy buena, El condomino esta muy cerca del Hotel El Conquitador puedes llegar walking. Recently my fiance, our 5 year old son, & I stayed a weekend at this condo. We enjoyed our stay very much! We had decided to check in on a Friday which was coordinated around our Catamaran Sailling Excursion that same day. Check in time is 3pm however, our excursion was not over until around 4pm (apprx 20 minutes from condo). Olga had no issues with meeting up with us on "our" schedule to ensure we had the keys and parking permit. The inside of this condo is as depicted in the photos. The decor is warm and inviting and the condo was clean and spacious. The view from the balcony is incredible(even better than photos)! You are literally feet away from the El Conquistador Resort and the ocean. The water pressure in the shower was strong which is not always the case when visiting an island. The tiles in the hallway of the main building were under renovation however, the actual condo itself is as pictured and I would not let this detract from staying. This unit is secure and safe and and elevator makes it convenient to lug bags and beach necesseties to & from your car. During our stay we enjoyed a visit to El Yunque, Luquillo Beach, and Old San Juan (all our within a moderate driving distance). There is a strip of authentic restraunts that line the road that leads to the entrance of the condos. We enjoyed these very much and the locals were very friendly and welcoming. This was well worth the money spent and our family would love to return to this property on our next trip to Puerto Rico.

Water Problem-Never Checked In

The condo presented as clean and as pictured. The hallway tile was quite torn up. Upon checking in, Olga told us the water we be on and off for the next 12 days in all of Fajardo. We decided this would not be a vacation friendly environment to stay in. Olga did refund our deposit and we found wonderful accomodations in Palmas del Mar. During our sightseeing ventures we came into contact with many couples and families staying in Fajardo who were unaware of any water issues. Perhaps the water problems were related to just this condo?

Owner response:I'm very sorry about this rental. This is the first time I have a situation like this in the years I've been renting. The water authority responsible for supplying water from Rio Grande to Fajardo had problems at their facilities. The condo's emergency water tanks provided water during this special period four times a day for two hours. Since I live at the metro area I didn't know about this problem and learned about it the same day guests arrived. Since this event, I contact the condo administration a couple of days before any guest arrives to avoid any inconvenience. As to the tiles, the condo was remodeled about two years and the contractor didn't do a good job installing the hallway tiles and some of them came off. This is under legal litigation.

My husband and I enjoyed a week at this waterfront condo with wonderful views of the offshore islands. We were right next to the El Conquistador Hotel, where we used the pool and tried their various restaurants. We even visited their private island. Great location, and a great condo. We loved our apartment, with spectacular views of the islands and waves breaking practically at our doorstep. My husband walked over to the El Conquistador Hotel where he attended a convention. We used their pools, restaurants and even took their ferry to their private island, all this and not at their $400 a night for just a room. Our location was better for access to beaches and ferries to various islands. There were also some good inexpensive restaurants a short walk from our condo with more local atmosphere. We loved it, and we will be back. John and Caroline

my father was manager of this place back in the 80s and it was great.ive spent a good bit of my childhood there which was cool.now my wife keeps asking me to take her to puerto rico and i think thats the place well go to whenever i go to see family and to take the wife on vacation

From the hotel convention's guest: Our family attended a convention in March 2007 at the resort hotel next door to the apartment. We were very surprised and please that the room was right in front of the ocean. The room was spacious, had a kitchen and was very clean. The belcony was very roomy and the view spectacular. For the value, this was exceptional. I would return back in a heart beat.

My husband and I spent a most enjoyable week in Marina Lanais. The studio was perfect for our needs. It is not fancy, but very comfortably, attractively furnished and clean. It is located on 2nd floor and opens to a fabulous view and the water's edge beyond the lawn. Security is excellent day and night with very secure underground parking. Being able to walk next door and enjoy open access to the amenities of the El Conquistador is a fantastic plus. It is a short drive to the Fajardo Port if you wish to ferry, for a very small fee, to outlying islands such as Culebra. We definitly would return if our travels took us to Fajardo in the future. My wife and I call it a one stop vacation if you stay here. Gorgeous view and ambient atmosphere. It was lovely, clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Many thanks to Olga. Access El Conquistador is a big bonus. Not far to Fajardo Port, stone throw away is the Bio Luminiscent Bay and Seven Seas Beach. We will consider going back and highly recommend friends and family. Keep it clean and enjoy your vacation.
