Our home, Hacienda del Mar, has recently been renovated and we have added two brand new deluxe casitas for your vacation enjoyment. We are located on the Arroyo Grande River in the Zona Residencia section of Guayabitos. It is a five minute walk to the incredible beach of Jaltemba Bay and right next to the "Puenta de Vida" walking bridge that connects to our neighbors in La Penita.

Each casita is two stories tall with terraces for viewing our beautiful sunrises over the Sierra Madre Mountains. Enjoy the palapa on the main house for the famous sunsets over Jaltemba Bay. The gardens are magnificent and peaceful. The pool is available to all our guests from 7am to 10pm. Maid service is included twice a week.

Our casitas are best enjoyed by two people however we have comfortable queen size airbeds available to allow for a total of 4 people in each casita at no extra cost. We have a private secure entrance to the property. Beautiful gardens and the pool separate the casitas from the main house for added privacy.

Our roomy kitchens are fully stocked with kitchen ware for your private fiestas.

On arrival, a tour of Guayabitos and La Penita is offered at your convenience to orient you to the area.

  • We just finished staying 16 days at Sue and Del's beautiful home. The 2 Casa's that we rented were everything we could have wanted. It was a perfect home away from home. Both Sue and Del were fabulous hosts not only were they able to recommend great places to eat and a wide variety of things to do in and around the area, they were genuinely nice people. The pool was a favourite of our kids and our hosts kept it sparkling all the time. Their hacienda was kept immaculate! We are sure anyone who goes and stays with Sue and Del will never regret it! Thanks for everything Sue and Del!

Staying at your wonderful hacienda made it so easy to fall into Mexican time and space that I almost felt like a native by the time I left. Everything was perfect and just what I needed.   • We had the pleasure of staying in a bungalow with our two small boys at Hacienda del Mar. We were given a tour through Guaybitos & La Penita to familiarize us with the surroundings. It is truly beautiful, everything is very well maintained, the grounds are lust and the pool is fabulous. The hosts went out of their way to accomodate us. We definitely will return & highly recommend Hacienda del Mar to all.
