Butta boom, get out of town and check this Mermaids Dream house out. Wow, great accommodations and amenities. Breathtaking landscape views 180 degrees of ocean, waves, trees, and more. Inside is comfy cozy. A place to revisit and celebrate life. Walking distance to downtown Pacific Grove where the shopping is abundant the cutesy little stores. Then there's Fandango and other restaurants. Plan to rest, relax and rejuvenate. I'm returning next month and plan to go holiday shopping, stroll on the beach and look for whales. Simply Amazing.

My husband, two young children (2 and 4 years old) and I had a wonderful and relaxing vacation at this property last November. Everything was clean and well-maintained. It was the first time we had visited Pacific Grove/Monterey and not stayed in a hotel. I think we will stay at vacation rentals from now on because (especially with little kids) it was nice to have laundry facilities and a separate room for nap time! And, of course, the view from the property was amazing. It was easy to go running in the morning on the trail right in front.
Owner response:I'm glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. I have brought my Grand Daughter there many times. She is now six. She loves to go to the "Beach House". Come again! Repeat clients don't have to put a deposit down. Thanks, Sally

We had a wonderful time staying in Pacific Grove. The location is perfect - right on the ocean. We had two gorgeous sunny days and went for long walks along the ocean daily. Nearby restaurants were yummy and the home was cozy and comfortable. Thank you so much.

We stayed in this fabulous condo for a month and didn't want to leave! Being so close to the ocean was a dream come true- awesome views from every window and hearing the waves crashing during the night- just delightful! The condo is cozy and beautiful. We had a few house guests during our stay and all were comfortable and impressed. There was even a crib for our then 10 month old grandson! The location is perfect for walks along the path by the ocean to Lover's Point, the aquarium and Cannery Row as well as to downtown Pacific Grove. I cannot say enough great things about this place! A lovely month by the sea! Thanks to Sally and Phil for sharing your lovely second home with us!

As we approached the end of our rental period we called the owners to ask about extending our stay. We think that says it all. The condo was very comfortable and equipped for easy living. Watching the sun set and the sun rise framed a series of absolutely delightful days we spent here in Pacific Grove.

This place is in a perfect central location with an excellent view. It's an easy walk (minutes) to Lover's Point and to Cannery Row & the Aquarium. And it's a great spot to take quick trips south along the coast, to Santa Cruz and Carmel. The condo had everything we needed including condiments! We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night watching the moon and the lit up fishing boats on the water.

If you want an awesome view and walk to everything, this is the place! Sitting on the balcony and front patio and watching the ocean was so relaxing. Walking across the street to the walking trail and being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants was very convenient. The condo itself was clean, updated and decorated, however, it is quite cluttered with knickknacks making it hard to move around. There are 2 pull out sofas, but we weren't able to use them since there is so much clutter, that we had nowhere to move it so we could open the beds up. It is a great place for 4 people, but definitely not more than that, as we had. We agree with Greta from Norway that the condo would feel a little less cramped if they removed some furniture items. We would recommend this vacation home to a party of 4 and you won't be disappointed! Oh, one more thing... might look a little nicer if there weren't post-it notes all over the place. Might want to type those up and place them in little frames to hang on the walls to look a little nicer.
Owner response:Hi, this is Sally, the owner. I have some light weight nesting tables in front of the sofa sleepers. That is not that much to move, they are handy little tables (3) which are very light. Yes, I have nautical accessories that if you have small children you may want to put them higher (but put them back before you leave). What can I say, I'm an Interior Designer and love accessories. Thanks, Sally P.S. I thought neatly hand written notes were more personal than typed ones.

This was a dream vacation for my girlfriend and I. It was relaxing to sit outside on the balcony and watch the waves roll in. We enjoyed the trail path and walked to Cannery Row, Monterey Aquarium, Lovers Point, the Oulets, PG Beach, Downtown PG. etc. The place is decorated great. It looks like it should be in a "Coastal Living" or "Architectural Digest" magazine. We plan to stay here at least once a year. We loved it and hated to leave.

We stayed here for 3 nights in October. The condo is in the perfect location with an amazing view of the ocean and close to the beach, restaurants and other activities in Monterey and Pacific Grove. The condo itself is beautifully decorated, and has high quality kitchen appliances and nice bathrooms. Great balcony too! Perfect for 4 people. Only negative for us was that there were a too many knick-knacks. We had two small children and had to put a lot of stuff away to avoid something getting broken. We also felt that the condo would feel a little less cramped if they removed some furniture items. Very stylish though and overall a wonderful experience!
