  We spent the Memorial weekend at this wonderful condo and had a great time! The views were awesome,the decor very quaint and perfect for the coast. The location was very close to everything, which made our trip much more enjoyable. We'll definately be coming back when we come to the Monterey bay area again!

  This is the best place I have ever stayed. The amenities were wonderful. The ocean and sea life are in front of you. The designer/owner has really taken the condo and made it a home. You will be spoiled and never want to stay anywhere else along the coast. The B&B's don't have the better price or facilities than this jewel of a place. It is a little piece of heaven !!!

  Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was equipped with everything we needed. The location is wonderful. We took some great walks on the path along the waterfront and enjoyed breakfast with a view on the patio. Sally was great to work with! We hope to be able to stay there again soon!

  In spite of the great location and creative decorating, after 7 nights on the sagging mattress in the Master bedroom, my back began to spasm. Additionally, something constantly created irregular "dripping" sounds in the wall, making getting to sleep somewhat difficult; unable to discover source of annoying sounds. Guest bedroom/bathroom were great (for my guests). Living room was quite comfortable.

  Owner response: You are the first and only person that has complained about my mattress. I not only have NOT had com paints but quite the opposite, I've had people tell me that they have slept so well and asked me the type of mattress etc. It is Simmons and top of the line. I spoke to you during your stay and you never mentioned the mattress. It was not until the day or two before you were departing that you called me to try and get a refund for leaving a day early that you told me your husbands back was bothering him. As far as water running in the walls? That is another complaint that is new to me. I believe it was raining when you stayed. I am here now and do not hear any running water at night or any other time. I'm sorry you didn't totally enjoy your stay. It really bothers me when someone isn't completely happy with their stay. I am always striving to have everything perfect for my guests. To be sure the mattress does not sag for heavier clients we have put plywood between the mattress and box springs. I slept on it last night and it felt great.

  My husband and I had a chance to get away for a few days, and usually stay in hotels in the Monterey area so we can be close to the surrounding communities. This time we decided to try a condo in Pacific Grove, and we are so happy we did. This condo, being situated just across the street from the shoreline, has a stunning view of the sea. It is also very close to restaurants and shops, giving us the opportunity to easily go back and forth. The condo was beautifully appointed with decor which represented a nautical theme. It also provided all that was needed to stay in and be cozy when we chose to do so. In addition, it was very clean and quiet, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We felt so much more relaxed, not having to worry about the sound of other travelers, and checking in with hotel staff. We think this is the way to go, and hope this unit will be open to us the next time we plan on going out that way. We highly recommend it for those looking for a nice place to stay.

  We came to baby sit while our son and daughter in law attended a wedding nearby. Our adult daughter, my husband and I stayed in the unit with daily visits from the extended family. With a six month old, eating in made far more sense than restaurants, so a well equipped kitchen was a plus. Although there is no photo, the kitchen is really easy to work in and has lots of cutlery, pretty china and serving dishes. This VRBO does not feel like a rental unit. It as though you have been lent a home. It is filled with personal attention, there is nothing generic about it. It served well for a birthday dinner of 7 + baby and became the hub of our vacation. It isn't a fussy place with white carpets or furniture. Rather it is really comfortable. Sally, the owner, was incredibly kind when I broke one of her candlesticks. She behaved as we all would hope to do and said that accidents happen. So a high recommendation for the condo itself and this does not take into account its fabulous location. We really would love to come back. Thank you! The Silsbys.

  We were a group of 6 motorcyclists on a week long trip, so we had some luggage. Unfortunately, there are so many decorator nik-naks in this apartment that there is no where to set anything down. Except for the kitchen, every table and horizontal surface is filled with stuff, even the dining room table. Everything is fragile and there are notes telling you not to move stuff around. Although it is cute, we found it hard to relax and hang out with 6 people in this place. 2 couples would be the max I would recommend here.

  Owner response: Dre, I told you what the square footage before hand and it was a two bedroom with a king size bed in one room and a queen size bed in the other bedroom. It has two sofa bed sleepers in the living room. It has two full baths. In my notes I say, "If you move something put it back where it was before you leave". I am saddened that you wrote this review (4 months later) and just gave me a 2 star at this beautiful slice of Heaven right across the street from the ocean. When you left you told me you had a wonderful time and you want to return. Sally

  For a visit to the Carmel/Monterey area, Pacific Grove and this charming beach rental is a wonderful hub for exploration. Across the street is the coastal walking/biking path leading south to Lover's Point Beach (10 min) and north to Cannery Row (15 min) and Fisherman's Wharf (30 min). There are numerous wonderful restaurant choices right in Pacific Grove. The bright, open living spaces both indoors and out have spectacular views. The decor is "everything" nautical and very comfortable. Mostly a quiet location, expect to be greeted early in the morning with the sounds of sea birds and did I mention Thursday trash trucks and Friday street cleaning? All-in-all an enjoyable stay.

  The property was excactly how it was described and pictured. The owners were extremely helpful and very good about getting back to you promptly. I would absolutely recommend this property and I hope we get an opportunity to return.

  cozy, charming every thing you want or need. Park your car and walk everywhere. Fantastic views! We have been going to Carmel, Pacific Grove for 25 years this is the best. we are going back next year. PRICELESS!
