Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2005
Lisa, John, & Eddy Prugh welcome you to Silver bow Condominium #46. Purchased for a family ski getaway and vacation property. We welcome you to enjoy Big Sky MT and all this area of Montana has to offer from your home base of our family's condominium. Plan NOW!
Why the Owner Chose Meadow Village
I chose to buy this condominium because it is 1 hour from my home in Bozeman. Since arriving in Bozeman as a 3rd generation Montanan to Montana State University, I have enjoyed Big Sky since its' inception in the early 70's. As a student, we felt very special if we got to go to Big Sky for a ski day. That special experience is still felt whenever I make the turn onto Lone Peak Trail and face the beautiful facade of Lone Peak at 11,116' towering above the Meadow Village. I chose to buy this property as an adventure into a new chapter in my life. I have enjoyed every single day of ownership!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
I enjoy the quiet in the morning and evenings. All seasons, the Meadow Village offers a solitude that is rejuvenating. The convenience of Meadow Village for shops, restaurants, grocery, church and more makes this location a perfect landing for your family's vacation. The West Fork creek that passes by the condo and the multitude of waterfowl, moose, deer and beaver who make the Silverbow pond their habitat are peaceful entertainment.

We stayed here during the Christmas holidays and found the condo just as described. It was well-maintained and extremely comfortable and inviting, and what a joy to see moose in the snowy meadows in the early morning and late afternoons (right out back). The owner was extremely accomodating in everyway and went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

We love staying at No. 46. We've spent several weeks here in each of the last three summers and don't think there's a better place in the Meadows for a relaxing getaway. It's very comfortably furnished in a very Montana kind of style. The view from the deck of Lone Mountain simply can't be equaled from anywhere else in the Meadows. It's a great place to sit and read on a sunny day. If you golf, the Big Sky Resort course is within walking distance. The owner is very responsive and keeps the place immaculate. It's become more like a second home than a place to rent, and well worth our drive from the Florida Keys.

This last Thursday we had an interesting event in the pond in front of the condo. A little before 0600 I heard the sound of wings. I looked out the living room window and saw hundreds of ducks circling and descending on to the pond. By 0730, the pond was very busy and noisy. I counted 10 species of duck and 4 species of shore birds. There must have been over 200 birds. By Friday morning at 0550, they all left! What great entertainment!!
