This mountain retreat (we call Black Bear because of the extensive wildlife in the area) is uniquely located on the most picturesque waterfront property on scenic Lake Dillon in the Heart of Colorado Ski Country. The home has spectacular views of Buffalo Mountain and the Gore Range. It is only 70 miles west of Denver, but miles above it all in the fresh air and beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
The absolute best location in Colorado for winter activities with 6 ski areas only minutes away. The world class skiing at Breckenridge (10 miles), Keystone (2 miles), Copper Mountain (10 miles), Arapahoe Basin (10 miles), Loveland (10 miles), and of course Vail (25 miles).
Accommodations:
This condo home is on the ground level, so you will not have to climb stairs after a long day of skiing. This unit has never before been available for rent and the home is completely and warmly furnished and meticulously maintained. The large Master bedroom has a King Size bed, while the extra bedroom has 2 twin beds. The living room has a Queen Size sofa sleeper, a La-Z-Boy recliner, 32" TV with cable, internet access, DVD with a wide selection of movies, CD Player, books and magazines for your enjoyment. In-Floor radiant heat. All furniture is less than one year old and is nicely appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a laundry room just 4 steps from the front of the unit. We are only minutes from the Silverthorne Recreation Center, which offers an Olympic size pool, hot tubs and a beautiful water park for the kids, all indoors for winter use and enjoyment.
Transportation
There is a FREE bus service to most of the ski areas just in the front of our complex or the large outlet shopping in Silverthorne.
